One of the upsides of a showing filming in NYC is they get excellent Broadway actors like the Tony-nominated Diamond See also Law and Order in all iterations, a show where I unexpectedly said the words, “hey, it’s Shrek!” once while watching.

I couldn’t tell who was on the security footage. It looked like it could be Stan but it also looked like it could’ve been Joy. Maybe she killed Savannah? By accident? And then covered it up and was so stressed she ran off? Took her own life? Met with mischief?

I feel for Amy. Metal illness is hard but it’s especially difficult in a family who seems as they would view it as a moral failure and shortcoming.

My guess is the blood belongs to “Savannah”. I wonder if Stan and Savannah were having an affair- prior to her showing up at the house?

The dad is so angry and combative! At first I wondered if he was maybe suffering from the early stages of dementia (to be revealed later) as that is common of someone with the illness but conversations between the other characters make it seem he was always that way. At least behind closed doors. I didn’t watch White Lotus ( no hbo at my house) so I only know the oldest son as Pete from the office and I liked that character so I’m inclined to like this one. He certainly seems the most together of the kids.

I just figured dean’s character was on some major pain meds and was halfway off his gourd half the time and that’s why he was saying the particularly insane stuff. Allison did say something about disconnecting his morphine.

I liked the sisters and I liked Dean and wouldn’t mind either appearing again. I do NOT like the “Charlie’s angels” speaker with the mysterious partner.

I wanted this show to be so much better than it is.

I just want to say that the biscuit that Dot handed a man was not a drop biscuit. It was very clearly cut with a cutter.

This episode is the one with the highest rating on IMDB. I highly disagree with that. And find it confusing.

Even if the plot explanation didn’t actually make it any better of an episode! 😆 This was my least favorite by far. also, I know WHY they do it, but I really hate when show runners and writers have basically every character headed for a complete come apart and they all reach it at the same time and everything implodes. Y'all take turns! Not everyone is allowed to hold the mental breakdown stick at the same time!

Ok so I REALLY didn’t follow this case at all. I got an influencer was kidnapped. I got that she was in a wheelchair for some reason and I think that was her “hook?” As an influencer? But it was largely set dressing and nothing was real. I don’t understand why the assistant kidnapped her or exactly who the older woman that put him up to it was or why. And at one point someone said something about poly relationships? What? and who was it that “woke up” at the end in the hospital.?

Juno is awesome but I can’t figure out exactly what JJL is going for/doing here.

It’s nice that Matty won, but his caterpillar face was terrifying!! Kristy seems like a nice person but the “frantically flustered” every week was beyond old. Tasha is still my favorite, but Josh quietly plugging away is growing on me.

Just to be sure I completely understand- Loki is literally holding the fabric of time and space together. like, “he’s got the whole world, in his hands” takes on a new meaning now…

Tasha doesn’t have a hearing aid she has a cochlear implant and you can’t “switch it off”. You have to disconnect it and remove it. And then put it somewhere super safe bc , at least in America, they are are expensive. How is Matty still there? Every week for about the past three I’ve thought he was going home but he squeaks by.

I think the reason you’re unsure how the crystallized the thyme and lemon is bc the one the showed the most was Matty’s and his was…. Not right. It looked like he had beaten his egg white into an almost meringue substance, stirred in the thyme, and was smearing it out on a tray. the egg white is a “glue”. You dip or coat the thyme in it, spread it out, heavily sprinkle with sugar, and put it somewhere to dry out. The egg makes the sugar stick and hardens up a bit when it dries. you could do the same with the lemon peel, but it looked like at least some were candying the peel. They placed the peel in melted sugar and let it dry/harden.
