  1. Forget Batman v Superman, this is how you do a crossover DC! Best line of the night. I nearly spat out my drink.
  2. I have one question (I know nothing about HIPAA or how hospitals are run): if Bailey can fire Arizona, how would the whole her owning a part of the hospital work out? Isn't she, theoretically, Bailey's boss? I actually enjoyed most of the episode. As a guy, I'm not sure I would side with Jackson right now (the whole abortion thing) but I'm also not sure I'd be okay with knowing that my potential child could be carrying a serious disease which their mother won't get tested for? It's a conundrum for sure. The less Penny the better. In fact, I'd be ecstatic if they wrote her off completely. Give her screen time to Stephanie, Jo or best of all, Alex!
  3. So his opinion on what he would done differently changed in two days and two days before WonderCon? Sorry but my sceptical side is calling this a PR-apology and not a sincere one. Very frustrating/depressing turn of events from the minute Lexa got shot until now. I think I might go back to watching my sports teams full time now. They still disappoint me but at least I go into it knowing they'll disappoint me lol :)
  4. I decided to go onto the site after reading your post and even though I knew that this is what Jason and the writers had been up to, I had no idea it had been this extensive! The stuff about the writer going onto that forum and constantly reassuring them all the while knowing that they had killed the character is quite honestly, disgusting. On top of that, the writer kept coming back! I'm suddenly very glad I quit cold turkey and decided to binge any episodes that might interest me during the summer because the only thing keeping me from dropping this show altogether is Clarke and even that's wavering right now.
  5. CatMack I thought I was the only one who never warmed to Vane so watching him die was actually a happy moment for me *shrug* I will say I was really surprised that they went through with it and I expect Eleanor to be next because she'll probably fall on this particular sword herself to stop Rodgers from being caught in the crossfire. Too bad, because for all her faults I still find Eleanor to be an intriguing character.
  6. I'm very, very over Ragnar's little drug trip with the Chinese slave girl. I don't care about any of it or what kind of "deep philosophy" he's gaining from it. Make it stop! And the whole bathtub sequence was so unnecessary, I ended up pressing the ffwd button because I'd had enough. The best thing's about tonight were Lagertha fulfilling her promise (in a white wedding dress no less) and Ivar turning into a little maniac.
  7. I don't know about the tweets (although I am inclined to believe them since it came from multiple accounts) but the writers' periscope did happen. I watched the first five minutes and decided I didn't want to hear any more. I don't think Jason is racist at all but his ego is or has become an issue. His arrogance has probably ruined the quality of his show because he truly believes his vision/writing is above tropes, clichés, replicas of other shows etc.
  8. I'm trying so hard to disengage from this show but the BTS stuff that's slowly coming out keeps me in it. The stuff from the con is true. One of the people there posted a video with Lindsey Morgan saying what she was tweeted as saying which...1) she's still contracted to the show so why is she being so bold? 2) If even 50% of what was said turns out to be true than the show-runner is more toxic than I thought.
  9. To be expected considering how well the first bit of the season did. I, however, will not be returning for S4. The writing is literally on the wall, this show is not going to get better writing-wise, probably only worse.
  10. Not much of a difference or higher if it follows the trends of other shows when a major character dies. After that though, I have no idea.
  11. No, Lexa is definitely dead. Jason already stated that her death was necessary to show the AI/Becca stuff. She isn't coming back ever again. As for the 8th Nightblood? I think it's this Luna person they keep eluding to and my thought is that she managed to escape/run away which is why she's separated from the other clans so much.
  12. Reviews of 3x07 which echo my thoughts about it overall: http://ign.com/articles/2016/03/07/opinion-a-few-more-thoughts-on-the-100s-lexa http://io9.gizmodo.com/the-100-pulled-a-whedon-and-it-was-terrible-1762884527 http://variety.com/2016/tv/columns/the-100-lexa-dead-clarke-relationship-13-1201722916/
  13. When you look at this episode, without the death scene, it's actually not a bad episode at all and I was really enjoying it until those last 10 minutes. Now that the writer is openly admitting that he (and Jason since he's the showrunner) thought that his writing was so great it would surpass a trope, it's making me very, very leery about watching this show (and the Xena reboot since this particular writer is in charge of that) live ever again which I really hate because Clarke is my favourite character and I want to keep watching for her at least. As for the death scene and everything else about it: at least people here seem to be clued in to what exactly the writers on the show have been doing. Other well-known sites have completely given them a pass and it's mostly because I think they're completely unaware of what Jason & co have been doing for the last couple of months. I may be straight but even I can tell that this all has been and still is a load of...cockamaney!
  14. I think the baiting is probably more enraging to me than anything else. He (and the rest of the writers) spent a lot of time right up until maybe a week ago re-assuring people about Lexa's fate. I don't think he should've just come out and said "she's a gonner" but at the same time, don't act like you are this bastion of representation when you knew all along that you were going to end the character by having her shot right after a sex scene and that in itself is poor writing. I may be a straight male but I get where some posters are coming from with this and tbh, I agree.
  15. I thought I was furious after the betrayal. I thought I was furious after the whole Pike/Bellamy situation but this? I'm so angry right now that I honestly have no words. I love Clarke Griffin and for the most part, I love this show but tonight was too much. I'll let it sit on my DVR and watch the rest of this season over the summer.
  16. I'd say probably this would be more surprising than that Blackburn team. If memory serves me right, the 94/95 Blackburn squad was an expensively (at that time) assembled team of probably the best British talent around whereas Leicester bought a lot of their players for a cheap price.
  17. Sigh...can I come in here to cry about Liverpool? That quote "It's the hope that kills you" has never been more appropriate than to a Liverpool fan.
  18. I'm sure this has been noted before but when I think back to the show in S1, or say the beginning of S2, one of my biggest disappointments is that the show never delved into how the citizens of Storybrooke are dealing with melding their two lives together. Yes, they might have retained their Storybrooke memories but how do you reconcile that with their alternate lives in the Enchanted Forest. For example, Ruby/Red. How did she deal with knowing that once in awhile she turns into a werewolf? How do the dwarves deal with being miners again and these are just minor characters. We could've taken a look at Charming and said how is he dealing with his life as David versus being a Prince? Or Snow dealing with being a teacher where she was once a Queen? I think they did it a little with Regina but that plot veered in another direction due to poor planning. I genuinely thought they would look into this after Emma destroyed the curse but they never really did. Instead off we went to the EF, Neverland, Greg & Tamara etc which as a standalone season was fine, but it took me out of the show for quite awhile before I eventually quit watching it altogether bar an episode here and there. Now, it could've happened later on and I missed it all so if that's the case, disregard my post but if it didn't, am I the only who feels this way?
  19. I'm with those who think Pike's strategy is incredibly short-sighted. The Arkers just don't have enough people to be able to wipe out the Grounders. Look at when they were testing the water earlier in this episode, they were completely surrounded by forests. All the Grounders would have to do is stake out the area around Arcadia, stay hidden in the trees and pick them off one by one and at the same time, poison the land surrounding Arcadia which would essentially starve them out. The only way the Arkers were able to kill 300 Grounders was because they ambushed them while they were sleeping. I have a funny feeling that they won't be able to do that again.
  20. So the 13th Station which is Polaris which is Polis is connected to the Grounders and ALIE somehow? I'm fully on board in seeing more Polis and the COL stuff now! Pike/Bellamy are killing my vibe every time they show up on my screen.
  21. Lexa says so. She's made this abundantly clear by not only swearing fealty to Clarke but by agreeing with her and not seeking retribution for this latest massacre. It's going to cost her her head most likely but it shows how far she's willing to go for Clarke now.
  22. I...am trying very hard not to rage right now so bare with me. - Pike needs to die. Yesterday preferably. I'm not one to advocate for death but he has it coming, big time. - The one time I needed Lexa to completely ignore Clarke, she does the exact opposite. Love is definitely weakness Lexa because agreeing to this, agreeing with Clarke is what's finally going to get you killed. - So Raven has accepted Jaha's computer-generated meth? I was hoping she'd hold out from his brand of crazy but her leg is getting progressively worse so I understand. - I think the Grounders are well aware of who ALIE is because they recognized Murphy's little pill straight away. I'm not sure how much they know about her though. - Lincoln should've listened to Octavia and left when they had the chance. Now he's locked up and being treated like rubbish. - At least Miller is still a good guy, I was beginning to think most of the male Sky People had mush for brains. - Speaking of mush for brains...if the aim of the show was to make me want to bang Bellamy's head against a wall in frustration, they've succeeded. I didn't even care about him crying over Mount Weather because all I could still see is those dead people out there who were doing nothing but trying to protect him and his people.
  23. I'm not going buy that Bellamy or Octavia were ever going to be leaders or that they were setting them up that way. They're both too emotional and reckless to be put in charge of a lot of people. So I guess I'll just disagree with them doing this all so they can further a ship *shrug*
  24. *sits quietly in the corner hoping that Jo, Arizona & Amelia become friends so they can have their own people who aren't mixed up in the exclusive Seattle Grace circle*
