  1. Exactly what i was thinking. Telling people not to be "6, 7 or 8" in another alliance, but to be 5 in hers. Fucking please. There was no logic there, just Ciera whine.
  2. Especially since Stephen took so much joy in booting Monica last week, and rubbing it in her face on social media this week. But it's "Bayon strong" this week? He's so awful
  3. Stephen. Fucking Stephen. Not emotionally stirring at all. In fact, I found it weird and indicative of his complete lack of perspective on life. If he had been crying about something that mattered, I'd feel for him. To cry over a game show because people won't do what he thinks they should (for his game, of course) shows just how out-of-touch he is. Never liked the guy. Didn't like he nastiness about Monica last week. Hate his sniveling over not getting his way this week. The only thing that slightly redeemed him was his willingness to go after Joe of the Stupid Hair.
  4. Isn't it weird that all of the quits came after they stopped? The only medevac prior to that was Skupin in the fire, whereas we have tons of injuries, infections and mental breakdowns now. And I guess better TV is in the eye of production, because I'd take any of the first three seasons over anything since Thailand. I agree, but I've always felt he was an asshole who played the nerd to feel slightly superior to everyone else. I didn't like him in his first season, and he's doing himself no favors with me this time around.
  5. Yeah, yeah. Fishbach's "bromance". That's so much better than a nasty "women's alliance".
  6. So fucking over Swapnil. He was mediocre-to-bad when he was there, and he's not there any more. Can't be bothered to care, really.
  7. There are several stars she could design for, but none of them are modeling on Project Runway. She has to design for the model she has. Since Edmond made two, as well, there's not much of a difference between the two. Well, except for the fact that I thought Ashley pulled hers together, and Edmond didn't. Yeah, I like Edmond well enough. I don't think he's a spectacular designer, though. He's had several mediocre designs over the season. I was strongly in favor of either him or Ashley, since I think both are very hit-or-miss. As long as Candace and Kelly made it, though, I was good. The other two were 6 of one and half-dozen of the other.
  8. Speak for yourself. "Us women" aren't any one thing. But stereotypes sure are, I guess.
  9. Kimmi had good strategic reasons for getting Monica out. Monica was already blabbing about her other plans based upon people outside the alliance.
  10. They don't even have to be young and attractive. They just have to fulfill his idea of strong dude who wins challenges. Terry, Rupert, Tom. Tom was an attractive enough guy, but not terribly young. Terry isn't ugly, but not he's not attractive, either. Rupert was an out-of-shape dude with long, stringy hair.
  11. That's not what Jeff is accusing her of, though. He has his jockeys in a wad over the statement she made in a confessional about how she would do what she needed to win, then pray for forgiveness later. She could be doing a lot of things, but both what we're seeing and what Jeff is saying don't exhibit any of it. After reading the entire interview with him, he sounds more bitter than ever. He's picking out things that he would have had to have seen on TV afterwards to justify his bitterness after-the-fact, in my opinion.
  12. I do think he's a bitter, petty asshole. How many times did he say he "loved" Tasha, then continue to rip into her? How many times did he talk about her "using God", then proceed to do the same? Happier than ever that Tasha was the one to send his ass home.
  13. Yeah, that makes me think Jeff's a monumental, two-faced asshole. "I love her, but my God hates her and needs to show her how to act" is what I got from his anti-Tasha rant. So glad that self-satisfied blowhard is gone.
  14. I still don't see why keeping Jeff around in any way would benefit Tasha. What does he really offer that Abi doesn't? Abi will flat out tell you who she's going to vote for. Jeff has turned on his alliance--he did it the first vote, in fact. The attempt to keep working alliances across tribes is just the cherry on top. Jeff was loyal to no one but Jeff, and he wasn't as easy to read as Abi.
  15. Even the judges commented that he had less to do than the others, because it was superior before they started. That makes the whole "go back and improve it" complete bullshit. If he did too much, he would ruin what was a superior job to begin with. So, downgrading him for not transforming his original idea more was unfair. Transform into what? Something less effective? And, no, I don't think Nora should have been put straight through. I found her work this episode to be even more bland than usual. As for what Westmoreland did or did not say, we don't really know what all he says, since it's edited to fit the story. More importantly, he's not a judge. The explanation we were shown was to make them human characters that combined humor and horror. Nora didn't do that, and she didn't even make her non-human, humor-only character very interesting, in my opinion.
  16. Maybe he's just bitter and petty. As for the rat call out, he kind of had that coming. If he's pissed about that, just more bitterness and pettiness, in my opinion.
  17. I don't think for a minute that Tasha intends to have a "to the end" alliance with Abi. Abi is someone who has simply helped Tasha and Andrew go from sure losers to running their tribe. What other options did they have, after all? Trust Varner, who has already made it clear that he is still trying to maintain alliances on the other tribe with his little act last week? I, for one, am thrilled to see Tasha taking charge, and I think she's done a hell of a job with it. Not only did she and Andrew turn things around, but she has managed Abi very skillfully. No, she didn't need Abi's vote tonight. She had Woo and Andrew. Still, she let Abi have a major say so Abi feels like a part of things. Like she said, she didn't want Abi pissed after the vote, so she had to let her feel that she had power in making the decision. As for Jeff, I find it hilarious to see him go. He played much too hard. He thought he was more clever than he actually was. He didn't have anything to offer the tribe except evidence that he would betray them as soon as he could join his old alliance and evidence that he would saddle them with an injured, middle-aged dude who'd do nothing to help in challenges.
  18. Kruseman half-assed it throughout the season, did an incredibly shitty live piece, and wins? As soon as they announced that he'd gotten the final spot over Matt, I quit watching. I actually thought Chris was going to win at that point, but I was too pissed at Kruseman's simple line drawing beating out Matt's tiger. I would have preferred Chris to win between him and Kruseman, just because Kruseman was mediocre throughout the season when he even bothered to do the challenges. And fucking Marq again next season? Fuck you, Ink Master.
  19. Since that wasn't the only vote before Peih-Gee was booted, I tend to doubt it's 100% on Shirin and Spencer. She, after all, voted for Shirin the second vote. That wasn't Shirin or Spencer's doing. Except for the fact that Jeff has been working with her since the beginning.
  20. I'm not a fan of Tim, but I don't think he wanted Swapnil to fail. The judges have been asking these questions about Swapnil for a while. I imagine that they were asking them long before we actually saw that on the show, since the show was focusing on Blake and Ashley at the beginning. Blaming Tim or the judges for Swapnil half-assing it is a stretch, considering that Swapnil was saying in talking heads that he just wanted to be safe and wasn't really applying himself.
  21. Besides, this isn't about Capaldi's past. He's supposed to be playing a character on a TV show, not reliving his own real life past.
  22. Why wait to give Jeff time to compose himself and think about an excuse? Putting him on the spot in front of all three tribes was the absolute best way to do it. It's why she got the reaction from Jeff that she did. I'm just not sure why she owes it to Jeff to be calm about calling him out or how it would benefit her. Zuleikha said: Who said anything about loyalty? It doesn't have one thing to do with loyalty. It has to do with Jeff overplaying and thinking too far ahead, thinking he could use the crazy lady as a shield now and at the end of the game. It has to do with who's the least likely on his current tribe to vote him off at this time. He's had the numbers to vote her out. He had the numbers to safely vote her out when they voted Shirin out. He chose not to. And it's not because he finds her "delightful", IMO. That's just him talking shit on TV. It's because he thinks she's a good goat. Besides, I'm not terribly sure what he does in the future has anything to do with the comment that was quoted, which was about why Jeff was not going to go against Abi this week.
  23. Funny and accurate. She voted with Peih-Gee several times despite having a heavy dislike for her. It completely depends on how Tasha and Andrew treat Abi. If they manage her sufficiently well, she and Jeff will join with them and boot Woo. If she gets a wild hair up her ass to hate one or both of them, then she will absolutely vote with Woo. It just depends on who she's most pissed at in the moment. I also agree that Jeff was never going to vote against Abi under those circumstances. At this point, she's probably the only one who doesn't have 10 pounds of suspicion about him. She's the most solid ally he has, especially on the current tribe. She's also his designated goat, and Jeff has shown that he's all about the end game, even this early. The only way to get Abi out was for Peih-Gee not to be so wishy-washy and Woo not to be so useless. If they'd been quicker to align themselves with Andrew and Tasha, they stood a chance. Or if they'd gotten Abi out the previous week, this would totally be put to rest. They failed on both accounts, so good riddance.
  24. I just don't want Chris to win because his narrative has been to turn this into Survivor with Tattoos. It may be true that this was editing, and that the others did, as well. However, the fact that it was mostly shown as Chris' MO makes it likely that if he wins, others will copy this behavior in future seasons. I don't want to see that. I am on board with the idea that the editors have constructed who Chris is on the show. That doesn't mean I want to see him win and influence people who come on in the future, though.
