There really was one of those modeling places at the King of Prussia (outside Philly) in the 80s. The would keep all the cool headshots in quasi-shadow box to lure in unsuspecting teens and preteens, as kids hung out at the mall all the time back then. Watching with Mr shipmate I kept saying "I bet that's at king of Prussia!" Yeah... he didn't care nearly as much as I did.

I was a teenagers in suburban Philadelphia in the 80s. I can't believe it took me this long to catch this show. Mr shipmate and I had discussing the art of the mix tape and how if you had a boom box with 2 cassette slots (for easy copying of course) that meant your family had money! Going on my must watch list (after the Middle)!

My teen daughter thinks Bethany Mota is the bees knees, so I wonder if the idea was to have her pull in younger viewers? It seems that Nina gets the final say in the winner since whomever she LOVES wins, even when the other judges give an advantage to another designer. This happened in at least one other challenge this season.

That chick today was awful and made everything about her. "when *I* was in the Oval Office" "they made ME clear off my photos from my phone" "*I* already saw Melissa McCarthy's film and Susan Sarandon's hair.." I started to count how many times she brought it back to her. People may rag on Kelly for doing that, but at least it is her show! I really wish the reunion had been longer! I would easily watch an hour+ special with them telling stories.

What I can't stand this season is when they take a commerical break between performance and critique. I think the momentum is lost that way.
