  1. My local station always starts Jeopardy! a few minutes early, so if I'm watching a show that ends on the hour I miss the beginning of Jeopardy! Today when I tuned in (at the scheduled time), they were 4 questions in. The station ignores my requests for an explanation. Anyone have one?
  2. You beat me to it! And one of the few she said did look "spring-y" had Christmas trees on it. I thought there were several beautiful cakes, but they had nothing to do with spring. Nancy and Lorraine loved the look of the moon one from the first round winner - I thought it was hideous. (Not that I watch the show, but it looked like something Dr Pimple Popper would like to get her hands on.)
  3. Just rewatched this in anticipation of the new season. I don't remember noticing this at the time, but it's interesting that one of the judges' (and guests') absolute highlights of Sara's meal was the beef - which Eddie cooked.
  4. Karlie's skirt made me think that's what I would have made when I realized I couldn't sew a waist band so just turned the whole thing inside to hide it. And I got so sick of looking at her boobage/cleavage during the runway show. Those diaper shorts were hideous (he probably wore them because he was afraid he was going to cr*p himself). They were later revealed to be even worse (to me at least) than they first seemed as they were made of leather. Ugh. Thanks to whoever posted the Tom and Lorenzo podcast. They brought up Sergio dressing like his dad, and they were like, WTF? As soon as he appeared all I could think was "Why is he wearing his dad's pajamas in a size too small? With the top tucked into the pants!"
  5. So Katherine goes to help the woman who had a baby with her husband. A baby she is helping raise. She says, quite appropriately, indeed generously, "Even though Jon is gone, he's still bringing us together." Naturally, instead of Delila graciously thanking her, Katherine finds herself apologizing, and the drama queen exits left, lip quivering. Sigh.
  6. Eddie to Jon at the graveyard: "I know what I did." No Eddie, you know what you were doing, and what you were planning to do.
  7. How did Katherine manage to bring a full glass decanter and glasses, on a tray, BY CAR?
  8. To me it looks like the prototype for the scene from Saving Nemo: "Puffer Fish Swallows Octopus." If I remember rightly, it didn't make the final cut.
  9. The contrast between when they're actually baking and when they're a group is stark. I swear a crew member must be holding up cue cards saying "Laugh hysterically". Another one here who's never heard of fault cakes. The first one must surely have come because of some famous baker's fault (ha!) when cutting a cake in half. Nancy Barnyard, her drinking, and her pinkie should have been the first to go home. Not sure I'll be able to watch this again until close to the end. (I do like Lorraine, Clint, and Duff.)
  10. Sorry, I could only bear it for about 20 minutes. Too frenetic for me. I know it's a competition, but so is The Great British Bake Off.
  11. I'm tired and read this as the pin being attached to the chameleon with the kid holding the leash. (Which would explain why they didn't last long!) Many moons ago my dad brought one home for a visit (he worked in a college biology department with a great - humane - animal house). It was fascinating watching it change into part of an orange curtain.
  12. I was surprised chameleon was a TS. Notwithstanding Culture Club being before their time 😉 it doesn't seem that obscure in terms of general knowledge.
  13. Or how about he asks around some of the music scene guys? I'm sure there would be a few who would remember "Red" and have information on him. As Loretta said, he doesn't want to know, and like a poster above says, it allows the show room to bring him back if they want. Way too many flashback scenes for me.
  14. The one for, I believe, some animal flea medication that goes "bloop bloop" endlessly. I'm surprised I haven't injured myself leaping for the remote. It's like Chinese water torture. (Someone please let me know if that phrase is no longer politically correct.)
  15. Kevin to Randall: What does Miguel think about the trial? Randall: Who?
  16. I don't disagree about the thong, but I found Kloss's pink bra equally offensive.
  17. Why do I think they were staying at the Carlisle? And hasn't the Plaza been turned completely into luxury apartments?
  18. When Elaine kept banging on about Sergio's first look being too sheer, I wondered how come she hadn't noticed Karlie Kloss's completely sheer blouse and bubblegum pink bra?
  19. And Lady Bracknell's Haaahnd Baahg.
  20. I'm re-watching and I'm kind of horrified by how many ugly personalities there are. Their parents must be embarrassed.
  21. Anyone else notice that the host is now apparently borrowing Geoffrey's jewelry? Speaking of Geoffrey, his model looked as though she was wearing the Sydney Opera House.
  22. Pet peeve? That all TV/movie males lick their lips before they lean in for a kiss.
  23. The World Health Organization announced Tuesday the global mortality rate from coronavirus was 3.4%. The death rate so far — which includes more than 3,000 deaths — is many times higher than the mortality rate of the seasonal flu, which is 0.1%. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that is at least partly because COVID-19 is a new disease, and no one has built up an immunity to it. LA Times Say what? So according to the LA Times, 3.4% of the world's population has died from coronavirus. The death rate "includes more than 3,000 deaths"? Were there people who were resurrected?
  24. I do wonder how many "real" people who've appeared on shows like this watch themselves at home and go on to get speech therapy or go to Nordstrom's for some guidance.
  25. "Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." I've never understood this. Can anyone explain? I'm fine with "can", but "will"?
