Have to agree about Annalise's sexiness is just not coming across. Viola is very good, and her character's kind of brutish manner is perfect. But why don't any of her clothes fit? I guess it was a conscious decision to make her dress a little "sexier" but I would have preferred her dressing in as professional a manner as possible and letting Viola create the character's appeal naturally. And she does, in some moments. When she was hitting on Wes/stroking his cheek, you could kind of see why she would be so attractive. But something about her clothing just looks cheap, and I'm sure it's not, which makes it even worse. Add me to the list of people annoyed with Wes going so far out of his way to defend a neighbor who has only ever been rude to him. They should have built up to the romantic tension if they were going to go this route.

I think lawyers and law students have to disregard every single thing they know about law school and the law to enjoy this show, because it's so off the mark it's entirely comical. But I do still enjoy it! I just think it would have worked a lot better to have the set up be a small group of 3L's taking a clinic and Annalise being the start adjunct who supervises it. There could still be the competitive edge to it, and it would make soo much more sense for 3L's to have all this extra time on their hands. Last night's happy hour "Law Review" was a little too much. Not just the set-up that Law Review would ever have to really recruit people (and at my law school, happy hour every Thursday was called Bar Review but maybe that's not completely common) but the idea that any of these kids who have completely abandoned all of their 1L classes except Crim Law, would ever make the GPA cut-off. Maybe they'll all be write-ons!

The manzo's in fighting makes me a little sad. They used to get along fine! I'm also sad I don't know what happened to cause it. I thought Dina's Caroline digs were more affectionate than anything else but I guess it's odd to joke about Caro if you're not even speaking

I was getting the impression Jack's cop partner was interested in Emily because he was a plant of some sort, working for...I'm not sure who the enemy is anymore, but someone out to get Emily. Maybe if David Clark is playing Victoria, Cop Partner is planted by him? He was just way too inquisitive about her and he had that look, that typical "I'm up to something" look tv characters get. Charlotte is so stupid in so many ways. Not only does she not have any real reason to hate Em, much less kill her, but she also missed out on the fact that Em is rich! If she was nice to her, Em would give her all the money she wants. Idiot.

I actually loved Lorelai's tirade because I hated Jess SO much and everything she said I agreed with. I just wanted that character gone completely and I blamed Luke for bringing him to town. Irrational I know. It's strange because when Jess showed up in S6 (I think?) and owned that bookstore, I loved him. This may not be an UO, I've only made it back 4 pages, but I don't find the way the GG's eat to be cute or fun. If they were morbidly obese eating like that, people would do nothing but mock them. I know this is a cliche that's used over and over again, but I find it really annoying on rewatch. It didn't bug me that much until my latest rewatch actually. They also never actually enjoy the copious amounts of food they buy. They never even ingest it!

Bobby treats Nicole like a "queen"? His face isn't bad, but his bathing suit body was a real turnoff.

I can't tell if he's doing it to fuck with people, or if he's just terrible at arguing so when backed into a corner he contradicts what he previously said. His twitter is filled with that sort of argument, just avoid the question, reverse what you previously said, yell at the person who has a valid point, and criticize their IQ. He's like a cliche version of what everyone hates about lawyers. Except I've never known a lawyer like him. In law school people were that argumentative, but the nature of law school brings that out in you. Jim has no excuse, that's just his personality.

Alderson is where Martha served right? I know she requested Danbury but was denied that. As far as prisons go, it doesn't seem horrible. It's still prison, it's still being away from her girls, but I am actually finding myself interested in the person Teresa will be when she leaves prison. It does change people, sometimes.

Yes Jim is a moron. He's one of those people who thinks that by attacking everyone else's intelligence he can sneak by without people figuring out he's actually very stupid. He's malicious and petty but that's hardly the same thing as intelligent. All of these people are relatively dumb but at least the rest don't put on the front Napolean does. You just made the show so much more interesting!

I thought joe meant another woman violently or aggressively putting her hands on Teresa since the topic was about her keeping her temper. Which seemed reasonable to me. I thought Andy did a good job with thus interview.

Ha! He really is just a gross person. Twin 1 and 2 are both idiots, Rino is annoying and gross, Bobby is a coward and there's nothing charming about him. But the way Jim talks, even (or especially) in his talking heads makes my skin crawl. I could like Amber, she's kind of ditzy and she's of course a famewhore if she's on this show. But she tries to have some charm. Jim is everything I hate in a man. That scene on the bed...just yuck. Though Amber does have a killer bod. I know she's boring, but I like Dinah. I don't need that much drama. I like her boring scenes, looking pretty, talking about her boring life.

Ha it's true, it'd be hard to care about the Rino rumor with Tre there.

Just read that she will serve her sentence first, and Joe after she has finished. So the kids will still have one parent. I really do feel for those girls. And I can't lie, I'd watch a season of post-prison Tre.

wow zoeysmom, that's an insane thing to do! Jim really has no moral high ground over the Juicy's at all. I wonder if he was doing this while he was in law school? Breaking laws while learning about them. Amazing!

There's no re-watch thread, but I've been watching Season 1 (not technically a re-watch since I never saw it to begin with) and Jac was so cute and likable! The show was a lot of fun that first, short season. Crazy Danielle was kind of fun even in her complete lunacy. Teresa was trashy and fun and effortlessly stupid, and I thought she looked much much better (especially without the fake "bubbies"). Even the Manzos were tolerable, and Caroline's haircut is hilarious. It's amazing how much these people have changed since then! But especially Jac, and especially her face.

I'd be excited to see Bethenny back on the show. She was so much more fun on RHONJ than she was on her own show. And if she and Jill could make up, I would love it!

Anyone who goes on and on about the low IQ of others as often as Jim does deserves to be browbeat for his ridiculous spelling errors. We all type fast, we all deal with autocorrect, we all have brain freezes sometimes, but his spelling errors are so often and so silly it's hard not to make fun of him for them. And because he's such a dick, I feel no guilt about it!

I thought Jason gave up his job to work for Bethenny's company? I could never quite tell what was going on there though, so if I'm wrong about that, maybe he did have the money to move out. Both situations seem really uncomfortable to me. Lu wasn't very nice to Ramona or Sonja at the reunion, but yeah Ramona is not a nice person.

If Bobby is only dating Twin 2 for the show, does she not know that? It hardly seems like lasting relationship material. I think Jim takes a tiny kernel of truth and exaggerates it for effect. He thinks it's cute and fun since it's for tv, but he's probably like that off camera too.

Kathy's new house looks like it's going to be another monstrous mansion. Disappointed in that, but was happily surprised to see her mom say that Tre and Joe did something wrong. No one else on this show has been willing to say that! I can see Jim having more than platonic feelings for Bobby. Or I can see him being jealous of Bobby. Either way, there's something unwell about Jim. And Bobby is no prize. Telling Nicole she's so stupid, hiding in the bathroom? And not to be completely shallow but the scene of him coming out of the pool, his body kind of grossed me out. Joe and Melissa Gorga were kind of fun last night! Enjoyed watching their shocked faces on the couch.

The email he received was only I'm regards to the written portion of the Bar. My belief is he didn't pass C&F. He really is a tool. I've never seen anything like him on twitter

I'm licensed in NY so it may be different but I received an email letting me know I passed the Bar and it included my MBE score. But my name is also on the published successful bar candidates list for that test and as far as I remember Jim's was not. There really is never this much confusion or cloudiness unless someone is hiding something and Jim clearly is.

I always liked that Kathy seemed happy in her very nice, comfortable but not ostentatious house. It's a little disappointing to see her needing this lap of luxury mansion, especially as her kids are moving out. Most people downsize at that time not upsize! I can understand wanting a bigger kitchen though.

I think the "he didn't want to hang out with felons" thing makes no sense. He chose to be part of the show. The rest of it doesn't make much sense to me either. Even if he wanted to defend Amber, how does continually spreading a rumor that Santa and Rino had sex help her? He won't stop talking about it. He's so desperate for attention I guess even this much negative attention is desirable. But he is going to be severely hated after the reunion. Amber is smart enough to try to play nice. Jim isn't.
