The fact that the only Spencers currently on the show are Carly and her kids is criminal. So long overdue for Lucky to return.

I have to admit I’m kind of surprised they’re actually going to go for it after all these years. I had assumed the almost Carly/Jason scenes before Sonny also came back from the dead were only thrown in because they knew Steve was on his way out. But I think they’re really gonna try it this time. And like a really bad car wreck I won’t be able to look away. Silver lining will be watching Drew get cast aside like yesterday’s trash. The potential he had that first week he was on, that disappeared as soon as his beard did. He’s become Ryan Lavery at his most sanctimonious.

I suspect a lot of us have been fans of RA’s Taggart for decades. There’s so much history there and viewer affection. I want him on my screen (and frankly never heard a bad word about the actor). But the characters absence is really insulting. Trina would want the man who raised and loved her to be there to comfort her now. I hated the Curtis being her bio dad storyline to begin with but for them to have her now act like Taggart doesn’t exist is terrible.

Undoubtedly true but so wild that this show thinks Jason should maintain that status as he nears 50. I despise Jason and always have, so the only thing that could have made that character palatable to me was a return to Jason Q which Steve refused to do (and they let him make such demands). But even if I liked Jason or saw leading man potential in him, he’s not competing with 25 year olds. Or shouldn’t be anyway.

Mulcahey is excellent at that exact type of character. He was at GL when one of my favorites, Bridget Reardon, was introduced. Rumor at the time was he left when the show wouldn’t pair her with David Grant. I was planning to stay on the Barge since hearing SBu is returning but Mulcahey as head writer might be enough to watch again. The Carly’s have a stronghold on this show but even if everyone else’s stories become better, that might be enough. I can’t believe GH managed to lure him back.

Remember that brief period of time when Dex was first on the scene and his hatred for Sonny was so intense that we all figured there was a personal history there and some wondered if he could have been AJ’s long lost son? It would have been terrible in execution because the actor isn’t good enough but more importantly on this show Sonny always wins. But man if they could bring on a show runner who didn’t always force the Carly’s to win, I would love to see it. Drew is the absolute worst it almost makes me look forward to him getting

I can’t think of a character I hate more than his Jason. Even Carly, because he’s one of the main reasons Carly became the sainted version she is. What a bummer. But I kind of hope they force a Jason/Carly romance on him, only because Steve seems so opposed to it.

I can’t imagine they’re bring him back especially considering his bizarre legal troubles. I think they’d Marcus back over him, at least Marcus had good chemistry with Maura. Hell I would take RoHo back for his fourth iteration over this Nik.

Ah Stephan Colton Martines Scott popped up again? Thought there was a warrant out for his arrest and he was in hiding. The only good thing about his portrayal of Nikolas was his wildly inappropriate chemistry with Jacob Young’s Lucky. Some really lovely tributes to Tyler. I thought JJ’s was touching as well.

Really hate Ty’s new potential love interest who burns her own cds. They’ve been teasing Ty and Annie since season 1 and they actually have a good angsty chemistry. Kathy should be more interesting and fun than she is.

I hate Noreen more than any of these other characters. This woman is in her 30s and she acts like she was too young and naive to understand sleeping with a married man is wrong and it’s all Bill’s fault. I hope he takes her to court. The actress certainly doesn’t make her more likable. I really liked the Florida scenes. It felt like a totally different more realistic show.

I realize this show is bizarre and ridiculous sometimes, but I still love it. It makes very little sense. Everyone is acting like Cal murdered someone. He punched a guy! I still love the over the top, puritanical, judgmental gorgeous town. I even love the teen plot. I wish they’d cut Justin Bruenings hair, but maybe it’s supposed to show he’s going through it.

I had it in mind the whole season that the triangle was mainly fake but I guess it was real? Daisy seems to think Colin secretly wanted this other girl the whole time since he ended up with her, and I understand why she’d feel that way but it doesn’t make it true. They were both messy but the only truly awful one was Gary. And he’s been awful since the start. He dated his own subordinate in the past and Glen said nothing. He and Daisy already seem to be pals again so she hasn’t learned he’s the real problem I guess.

I do think it’s impossible to please even a majority of people. Even now, while many of us feel Carly always wins, her fans feel the opposite because Sonny hasn’t killed Nina. I hated very iteration of Franco and especially hated that they put him with Liz, who I love. But I also find Finn and Liz to be a big yawn. And saddling the beginning of their romance with a storyline where she killed his wife when she was a child was such a bizarre choice.

I was not aware of this but man I hope she doesn’t have the pull her tv mom does if it’s true. He’s not as bad as LWB but he’s still a Block of Wood. It’s summer now, so maybe WL/Cam can roll back into town and get in the midst of all this, including the Esme plot line.

Same here, though I guess I shouldn’t be surprised the show is already gearing them up for a triangle before even allowing Sprina to be a real couple for very long. Fans have been clamoring for Sprina, even with a change in actress, but this show hates romance. I guess the most shocking thing is the triangle isn’t Spencer/Joss/Block of Wood. I see no chemistry btwn NAC and Avery Pohl (I think all the AC references in the comments are meant to be her?) and didn’t when the characters were together and boning either. I like the actress a lot but this whole storyline is a waste. Probably a moot point as I doubt we will have NAC much longer but I hope they don’t waste Trina on another boring Rory type romance in the future.

It’s a bummer because the actress is great and Esme could have been a great grey character post-amnesia. I don’t know why the show always chooses the least interesting option. It would be better if they just let Esme be the nemesis of Joss instead of Spencer. That’s what she was most of the time pre-amnesia anyway.

All of these people are so awful and ridiculous that I cannot imagine rooting for any of them, but I have to say Danielle brings a new level of stupid to this show. It’s almost impressive. I hope Jen Aydin and Marg become bffs and total allies next season just so fans don’t know what to do with themselves.

Really gross behavior. She could easily have killed many people, and there’s just no excuse anymore. Uber is widely available and she’s young enough to have lived her entire life understanding the serious and dire results of drunk driving. More Davis girl recasts I guess.

Rest assured, whatever good idea Lexi had, the writers will screw it up. It’ll be strange if new Kristina is in a triangle with Dex and Joss but I guess it’ll at least put to bed the notion that he’s Sonny’s son. I hope, anyway. Lexi was a great natural performer but GH did nothing with her.

He’s really so charming. I expect as others have said that he will try his shot as primetime and movies when his contract is up, and I know many talented soap actors have done the same and it hasn’t worked out. But I could see this one going far.

I’m no Joss fan but I can see how the original tweet seemed to be calling Eden out. Why name her at all? It seems pointed and unfair. She’s also allowed to be happy to be nominated. The whole situation seems unfair to her and people on Twitter tend to be nasty so I would assume the worst too. If NAC were in that category I doubt people would be calling to embarrassing for him so I suspect this is people letting their dislike for a character (who I also hate) bleed over to disdain for the actor. On the other hand, I’m a little shocked anyone still cares about daytime Emmy’s so maybe this bit of controversy brought in some nice attention for them.

That’s certainly the intention of the writing, but Willow is supposed to croak and she’s been nothing but a total horror to Nina. She’s a Carly through and through.

But didn’t they then put her with SBu’s Jason? Or am I remembering wrong.

I like Asher quite a lot and find his boyfriend annoying so I wouldn’t be sad if they broke up at the end of the season. The Asher finds religion annoying well has run dry though. We have seen him go through this with Jordan and find a way to be respectful. But if his boyfriend is a devout Christian and he’s just discovering it now they have other problems.
