Ok, so under the category of “Life Imitates Art”, I proceeded to blow a circuit breaker today at school by trying to make copies and heat up lunch at the same time. According to our custodian, it’s not a quick flip the switch fix. 😀. I, however, did not attempt to find the breaker box to fix it. Since our custodians Croatian, I doubt the circuits would be labeled with Boyz II Men songs. 🤣🤣

At least he didn’t pick a night when the temperature was in the Arctic range. 🤣🤣

Yeah, if the Rods get Covid, she won’t admit it. It’ll just be a “winter cold” while they continue on their merry way infecting everyone they see.

I am neither a big nor a little celebrity, and I can wax nostalgically about church potlucks. Can’t fault Jeremy there, even if he is pretentious. 😀

Yeah, Erin mentioned on her IG how hard it was not to hug the homeowner in the latest episode. They also don’t hand over the watercolor anymore. It’s usually just hanging somewhere in the house.

I don’t know if jail is going to be that hard for Josh. He’s probably heading off to medium security, so he won’t be around any real violent offenders. He will get three meals a day, and some mundane job where he doesn’t really have to think. He won’t have to pretend that he likes his kids (or the rest of his family). I think once he settles into a routine, he won’t find prison too terrible. I think he was completely miserable the last few years, so he’s probably thinking prison can’t be any worse. At least he doesn’t have to act like a wonderful, god-fearing Christian husband and father anymore.

I agree. She was doing the best she knew with the Covenant Eyes. I doubt it ever crossed her mind that he created a partition and was searching the dark web when he texted her telling her he was working late. (I doubt she even knew what a partition was and how to find the dark web.). I don’t blame her for anything prior to the raid. And, even then, he probably lied to her about what the feds were after. I think choosing to have another baby with him earlier this year wasn’t the smartest move, but that’s all she knows. Watching the way she walked out of the courthouse tells me she’s angry. At whom? Who knows. Could be a whole range of people. I also hope the M’s had a good Christmas. Hopefully, some of their Keller family was able to visit.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case. She does have family spread all over who would be interested in pictures of the kids, so a private IG would make sense. People could search all they want, but if she doesn’t approve them, they won’t see anything. (I just hope her IG handle isn’t Joshy’s_Girl)

She’s a toddler. When my kids were toddlers, there wasn’t a day that went by where they didn’t have a bruise somewhere. 😀

I’ve seen them called “owner’s suites” in some listings. Which, makes sense, cause my kids aren’t staying in there! 😂 Only watched one movie today, Christmas at Castle Hart. Let’s just say, my 19 yo so was NOT a fan. 😂😂

As clueless as Jill is, she probably got invited to a Mennonite church social, saw one head covering on one Old Order grandmother, and thought she had been invited into a special Amish inner circle. 🤣🤣🤣

Eh, just like on Sundays, on Christmas Eve there’s a wide variety of services. If people want a more traditional service, I’m sure there’s one down the street. His church may even be having a traditional one later in the evening. I want to think he’s poking at JB and Michelle and their fear of any music with a beat that caused “unrighteousness feelings.” 🤣🤣

The flight where they had to be masked from airport to airport, but not any of the places where they’ve run around unmasked (including Atlanta). 🙄 I mean, yes, they could have gotten it from the plane, but Amy doesn’t strike me as the most diligent when it comes to Covid guidelines.

I sure hope those are her personal gifts to her siblings and not Ma and Pa’s. I see she strategically hid Anna’s bag. 🤣🤣

The fact that today, when you can find a gazillion videos of easy recipes to make at home, Jill is still making that slop for her family is ridiculous. Of course, let’s be honest, one of the not-Nuries made that. But, still, it’s a reflection on how Jill has raised her daughters to be wives and homemakers. I mean, if that’s her only purpose in life, then she’s done a pretty poor job. I think it’s proof, again, that you can’t raise a bazillion kids well, even if you do keep them all home and under your thumb 24/7. There’s a limit to a parent’s time. In all these fundie families, the ones that have stayed in the 8 kids or so range have seemed to raise kids that can function as adults (to a point), while the mega size families seem to have daughters that have no clue how to clean or cook. (Again, if that’s your goal in raising your kids, you’d think having grown daughters with diaper mountains and gray slop for soup would be embarrassing.)

We could change “unfortunate” to “terrible”. Cause Josh’s actions were terrible, and Anna’s actions of continuing to have babies with her loser are terrible.

I don’t think they’re breaking up, but I can see some of the adult kids thinking about separating a little more and not being so tied up with JB and his shenanigans. Ben and Jessa are stuck with JB, but Austin and Joy could move away financially speaking from the Big House. Who knows? Maybe they’re all still there all the time, but they’re keeping it off of SM for now.

I don’t think Austin ever fell for JB’s buffoonery, but he figured giving up a few hours to get filmed in exchange for money and a house wasn’t a bad deal. And, honestly? I can’t blame him. I would have probably gone for the same deal when I was his age, especially since Joy was used to it. Plus, he probably thought that Josh was sufficiently cowed and would just stay out of everyone’s way. How little he (and everyone else) knew. Hopefully, he and Joy can carve their own life where they’re both happy away from the insanity that is JB and OfJB. (A change in their Freedomist beliefs wouldn’t be a bad thing either, but I think that may be too much to ask. )

And Austin carrying the baby! Giddy looked like he was having a blast. I bet being away from the TTH may be what they need.

At least she’s quarantining.

I hope Nurie got a TON of compliments on her dress, because it looks ten times better than she ever wore when she was under Jill’s thumb.
