I only got to see the first few minutes of today's show before the ABC News interruption and due to things going on here at home missed the rest of the show when it came back. The little bit of KeKe I did see lead me to believe today was going to be a day with a lot of things being said that would spark discussion which is why I wished the White House could have waited until later today.

People with her mindset are why women still hesitate to come forward even today. Comparing all these women who've come forward that are all different ages and different backgrounds to one stripper who made a story up.

I got into it with a woman online who's older then my Mom about Bill Cosby which means this woman is in her mid to late 60's who called all of his victims bimbos because they didn't come forward back then. She was going on about how they could have stopped him if they did, which in her mind would have prevented it from going on all these years and they could have helped other victims of rape and etc. in court. I thought this woman was smart and a friend at least online but after reading her thoughts on all of this it's making me look at her in a completely different way. I shared how my my Mom was raped in the 70's and why she didn't come forward, how she couldn't go to the rape crisis center either because a family member worked there and some other details of why she didn't go to the police. She then kinda brushed me off saying my Mom's situation was different and talked about how a woman she knew had a baby as a result of rape and seemed to be offended that the said child didn't know. I kept thinking this lady might send me an apology after reading how her comments offended me personally after seeing my reply to her. That of course hasn't happened as of yet. Sometimes I really don't understand people and their logic. This is more of a personal post so I put it in this thread instead of the show one. Hope that's ok.

The victim shaming going on concerning the women coming out against Bill Cosby makes me so angry. I shake my head every time I see or read about someone doing it especially when it's women. I want to post more about this but don't want to clog up the show thread so I'm going to make a similar post with more detail in the Small Talk thread.

Ugh. ABC News Special Report cutting in just as Hot Topics started.

Daily Episode Previews Monday (New) "My Drunken Daughter Will Die if She Doesn’t Stop Drinking Hand Sanitizer" Toni says her daughter, Kristine, is battling an alcohol addiction and has resorted to drinking hand sanitizer as a cheap way to get her fix. She says her daughter drinks nearly a gallon and a half of hand sanitizer a week and believes it’s only a matter of time before Kristine dies. Toni, along with Kristine’s sisters, Dawn and April, say they’re concerned for Kristine’s 8-year-old daughter, who has become Kristine’s caretaker and is witnessing her downfall. The siblings also say their mother enables Kristine, which is preventing her from getting her act together. Kristine says her family is dysfunctional, and they’re the reason she can’t stay sober. Dr. Phil has words of warning for Kristine. After three failed stints in rehab, will she agree to try again -- or risk losing her daughter forever? Tuesday (New) "My Father Offered Me as a 'Maiden' Sacrifice to an Alleged Cult Leader" Lindsay claims that from ages 13 to 23 she was one of 10 “maidens” and was sexually abused by alleged cult leader Victor Barnard -- a fugitive currently facing 59 felony charges, including criminal sexual conduct. Lindsay blames her father, Carmen, for turning a blind eye and says she can never forgive him for failing to protect her. Carmen says he had no idea what his daughter was going through, because Barnard had such a mental hold on him -- and he’s desperate to repair his relationship with Lindsay. Emotions run high when the two come together for the first time in more than a year. How does Lindsay say she finally escaped a decade of alleged abuse? And, what red flags does she say her father ignored? Plus, can this father and daughter move forward in healing and forgiveness? This program contains strong language and adult subject matter. Viewer discretion advised. Wednesday (New) "My Wife or My Girlfriend? Dr. Phil, You Decide" Melvin says he is torn between his wife of eight years, Rachel, and his girlfriend of two years, Chantelle, and he wants Dr. Phil to help him decide whom he should choose. Melvin, who is currently living with Chantelle, admits he spends "quality time" with both women, whom he says he loves -- but Rachel says she’s fed up with the dynamic and wants him to make a decision once and for all. Tension builds when the women meet face to face for the first time. Why has Rachel settled for sharing her husband? And, will she decide to stay in the marriage or leave him? Don’t miss Dr. Phil’s stern advice for all the players in this love triangle. Will Dr. Phil help Melvin with his choice -- or will someone else make the decision for him? Thursday The War of the LaRosas Dana and Frank LaRosa say they got married after knowing each other only eight weeks, and their one-and-a-half-year marriage has been filled with screaming fights and included police interventions. Dana, who has three daughters, says Frank completely changed for the worse after getting married, and being with him is like raising a fourth child. She also says he is "sneaky" and "conniving" and has a chronic gambling problem. Frank admits he’s not happy in the relationship and has left Dana five times. He says Dana cries wolf and has had him arrested twice for domestic violence -- conduct which he denies. What do Dana’s children have to say about their stepfather? Was this relationship doomed from the start, or can Dr. Phil help them find a solution? (Original Airdate: September 30, 2014) Friday (New) "Cyberbullied after My Son’s Death" Dr. Phil sheds light on the dark and dangerous side of the Internet: Cyberbullying. First, grieving mother Alicia tragically lost her 5-year-old son to drowning nearly three months ago, and ever since, she claims her former high school friend, Jessica, has been posting outrageous comments about her online -- even accusing Alicia of being responsible for her son’s death. Jessica admits to making nasty comments about Alicia online but claims they were in retaliation. What does she say Alicia did to provoke her? Can these mothers stop the mudslinging and reach a truce? Then, in October 2012, Carol’s 15-year-old daughter, Amanda, took her own life after the teen was cyberbullied by a man she met online. For the first time, Carol shares her heartbreaking story with the nation -- and offers words of wisdom to Alicia and Jessica. Will her story make an impact?

The forum is eating that link and not letting it work properly. I made a link with one of those URL shortners which will hopefully take others to the actual article.. http://bit.ly/14YSSea

I wanted to smack Dr. Phub in the head when he asked the older girl if she orchestrated all of this stuff against her step-grandfather and recruited everyone who testified to back her up including her sister. He asked it in such a smarmy way. I feel so sorry for those girls because it seems like it took so long for them to get justice and that their Mom failed them when she didn't follow through when she first suspected something as did others going by some of the stuff the older girl said.

They're giving us a warning beforehand that a segment with shitload of Frozen mentions is coming up. Prepare your remotes people!

I missed the first 10 minutes but I'm guessing I didn't miss much.

That grandma was disgusting and there's more of her tomorrow.

Rosie P seemed so nervous and flustered that it made me wonder if part of that was due to trying to make her point perfectly enough in her mind so Whoopi wouldn't feel the need to take over for her. When Rosie P was a guest in the past she didn't really stumble over words and have trouble like this. I like her as a person but it seems like she's always trying too hard and/or she doesn't feel comfortable enough to let her guard down and speak her mind without it being a word salad in the end. I want to like Rosie P as a host but today I was so frustrated with her. Also, today was another good example of how this show could be better if they all tried to be more prepared when it comes to discussing Hot Topics. I know people are writing off Janice Dickinson's claims of being sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby because of her seeming like she'll do anything for attention. Things like being assaulted can screw people up if they don't get help with working through things afterwards and being a model probably didn't help matters if her claims are true. All of that and more could account for some of her bizarre behavior. I think this post may be a word salad of my own though...

It comes across to me that Rosie O feels like she's the only one who seems to be speaking from the other side while the others seem to be focusing on how all of it affects Bill Cosby.

Rosie is NOT a happy camper today and is letting it be known.

The replies she made to the people commenting and asking if she's unhappy made me sad and frustrated for her.

Today's show seemed like such a bizarre mash up of stuff that Tommy Chong dancing with his partner at the end (even if they did have a mishap) seemed appropriate. I felt bad for Rosie during Hot Topics today and sitting on the steps singing with those little girls seemed to bring her a feeling of relief but I noticed after the Shaq in show commercial she returned to giving off the vibes that she wasn't very happy with how things were going today.

Monday's episode disgusted me to my core. I feel for ALL of Mama June's children having a mother like her. After this interview I would hope it would be enough to get the child protective services in her city/county involved. They should have gotten involved way back when Mama June was shown on TV giving Honey Boo Boo that "Go Go Juice". I never watched the show but remember seeing that stuff mentioned and joked about for a long time. She was going on about not taking meds and whatnot today but she came across like she was doped up or something to me, either that or she really is slow as has been speculated by people online.

The part about discussing the Bill Cosby allegations was ok. I will admit Whoopi peeved me off a bit by saying more than once that she hoped the accuser would come on the show so she could ask her some questions. She made no mention of hoping Bill Cosby would come on so she could ask him some questions though. If I was accused of something as serious as rape I'd make sure that I put out a statement saying that I had not and would never rape anyone and then make the point of not discussing it any further.

The way Lori lets people down sometimes makes me want to slap her or drag her around by her ponytail. I'm kidding...Kinda sorta. Lori just rubs me the wrong way on this show and on QVC too. I like Barbara though and miss her when she's not on. I was thinking maybe the sharks didn't want the liability that might come with getting involved in a dog training business like the one that was featured tonight. -
