  1. March 16 - March 20, 2015 Monday Inside the Mind of the Man Who Shot the "American Sniper": A Dr. Phil Exclusive Last month, a jury convicted 27-year-old Marine Corps veteran Eddie Ray Routh in the shooting deaths of former U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle -- the inspiration behind the movie American Sniper -- and Kyle’s friend, Chad Littlefield, at a Texas shooting range in 2013. Routh admitted to killing the men, but his lawyers argued that he suffered from severe mental problems, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), after returning home from service -- and even received psychiatric treatment a week before the shootings. In an exclusive interview, Routh’s parents, Jodi and Raymond, open up to Dr. Phil about their son. What was he like as a child? And, when do they say they noticed a change in his behavior? Jodi admits she reached out to Chris, who volunteered to work with veterans suffering from PTSD, and asked him to help her son. Does she have any regrets? Plus, hear from Routh’s sister, Laura, who says she was the first person her brother confessed to on that fateful day. Did she ever suspect he was capable of such a horrific act? Tuesday Nine Seconds that Outraged a Nation/"My Racist Father Needs to Accept the Minorities in My Family" In a 9-second video that quickly went viral, party-bound students from the University of Oklahoma’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chapter were seen on a bus clapping, pumping their fists and laughing as they sang a racist chant. The video sparked outrage and reignited debate across the nation about issues of race. Dr. Phil sits down with two black students from the university -- how do they feel about the video? And, what is the sentiment on campus about what happened? Plus, hear from La Salle University professor Dr. Charles Gallagher, a researcher in the field of racial and social inequality -- what can we learn from this shocking incident? Then, Peyton says she knows about racism first hand, because her father, David, is an Imperial Wizard of the White Knights of the KKK who she says taught her to hate certain people. But Peyton says she has different beliefs -- and she now has a biracial baby, whom she desperately wants her father to accept. Dr. Phil has some tough questions for David, who defends his beliefs and insists he lives by “God’s law.” Is he twisting scripture for his own hatred? Is there any hope of salvaging this father-daughter relationship, or should Peyton cut ties for good? Wednesday Lethal Love: "We Believe Our Son's Girlfriend Killed Him" In March 2013, Bob’s 20-year-old son, Chris, died of an accidental overdose, but Bob and his wife, Sallie, say they’re convinced Chris’ girlfriend, Toni, is responsible. Toni denies having anything to do with Chris’ death and is instead pointing the finger at Sallie and Bob. Tensions run high when Toni, alongside her father, faces Bob and Sallie for the first time in more than a year. What happened to Chris that night? Plus, hear from Chris’ childhood friend, Hans, who says Chris had a secret that might have cost him his life. Can these families stop blaming each other and move forward in forgiveness? (Original Airdate: November 5, 2015) <---- Their typo not mine Thursday "Get Off My Back about My Body" Nicole says she wants to lose weight but says her “fitness freak” husband, George, has no compassion or empathy for her struggles, and his intense, drill-sergeant ways aren’t helping. George says Nicole is her own biggest obstacle to losing weight -- he says she’s lazy, makes excuses and gives up too easily -- and all his efforts to help her have only strained their relationship. How can he motivate his wife? And, Dominique says she knows she needs to lose weight but says her mom, JoAnn, won’t stop nagging her about it. Could JoAnn be sabotaging her daughter with her constant comments? Then, Charles says ever since his identical twin brother, Adam, lost 90 pounds, he has become an arrogant jerk who loves to embarrass Charles about his body. Adam says his brother resents him for getting healthier and needs a serious wake-up call about his weight. Can these brothers heal their relationship while getting to a healthier place? (Original Airdate: January 6, 2015) Friday Shocking Accusations: A Husband Poisoned? A Hit and Run? Nikki says her three-year marriage has turned volatile. She claims her husband, Mark, has punched her in the face, broken her nose and run over her toe with his truck -- among other allegations -- which he denies. Mark claims Nikki instigates most of their fights and has violent outbursts, and he suspects she might be trying to kill him. The couple admits their confrontations happen in front of their two young children, and both say they want to save their marriage. Dr. Phil intervenes for the sake of their kids. Can this toxic relationship be healed? (Original Airdate: November 7, 2014)
  2. With the poor return business rate for the woman last night I really question the $60 for one of her's.
  3. That and a few other words was my reaction too.
  4. I wonder what happened to the female Lt. Danny and Maria had previously. Could it be that they were on a different shift so they had a different Lt.? I didn't really like the guy who was on tonight.
  5. Me too. :)
  6. March 9 - March 13, 2015 Monday In Sickness and in Health: "Should I Get a Divorce from My OCD Wife?" Brian says when he married his wife, Laura, and vowed to stay with her “in sickness and in health,” he never expected 10 years later to be married to her OCD, too. Now, he says his wife’s condition is taking a huge toll on their relationship and family, to the point he’s considering divorce. Brian says Laura’s compulsions began six years ago, after the birth of their second child, and have become all-consuming -- she even sleeps with a mask on and won’t let Brian touch her, for fear of contamination. Brian says he loves Laura, but he feels frustrated and alone, and he also worries about the effect her disorder is having on their children. Laura says she has a list of 91 different fears and rituals, which have turned her life upside down. She worries she is losing her family but says she doesn’t know what to do. Dr. Phil sits down with the couple in search of a way forward. What is driving Laura’s compulsions? Plus, Laura says her parents have no idea how bad her OCD has become -- how will they react when they learn the truth? How can Laura manage her OCD and reclaim her life? Tuesday "Our 7-Year-Old Son Threatens to Kill Us!" Kim and her ex-husband, Ryan, say they’re terrified of their 7-year-old son, Rylan, whom they adopted when he was an infant. They say Rylan has a fascination with knives, talks to an imaginary friend named “Bleeder” -- who tells him to kill his entire family -- and has even sent two teachers to the hospital. Desperate for help, the parents turn to Dr. Phil. What might be causing Rylan’s aggressive behavior? Could information about their son’s birth parents provide some clarity? Plus, Dr. Phil reviews home video of Rylan’s interactions with his parents and the police. Is he as dangerous as his parents fear? Wednesday Exclusive: Bobbi Kristina’s Boyfriend, Distraught and Out of Control: The Nick Gordon Intervention In a national television exclusive, Dr. Phil conducts an emotionally-charged intervention with Nick Gordon, boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston. With his mother, Michelle, at his side, Nick expresses to Dr. Phil the mental anguish he says he has been suffering since Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January, as well as from the tragic loss of Whitney Houston three years ago. Why does he say he has not been able to visit Bobbi Kristina, who remains on life support in an Atlanta hospital? And, why does he blame himself for not being able to save Bobbi Kristina or Whitney? Michelle says she fears for her son’s life, as he battles drug and alcohol addiction and has become increasingly self-destructive. Will Nick accept Dr. Phil’s offer of help? The daughters say they, along with their younger sister, Hannah, have uncovered Internet ads, emails and text messages full of questionable behavior. As a result, Brandy and Jacki won't allow Kimberly around their children anymore. Kimberly says her daughters are stirring up drama with half-truths and misinformation, and they need to butt out of her business. Tensions run high when the women come face to face on Dr. Phil’s stage. Marcella, a mother of three, claims she fired Diane for failing to perform the live-in nanny duties they had verbally agreed upon, but Diane alleges Marcella had grown overly demanding and that she was harassed and tortured during her employment. Who’s the victim in this mother vs. nanny feud? And why was the law on Diane’s side when the Bracamontes' tried to kick her out of their home? (Original Airdate: September 12, 2014)
  7. She was on her best behavior until she was more comfortable and now she's letting her pretty much unwatchable freak flag fly. I felt bad for Raven today during the segment with Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton. You could tell she had a couple of questions she wanted to ask and from what I could hear they sounded more interesting than all the ass kissing and puffing on Whoopi's ego that was going on
  8. I'm going to miss Drew Carey and Wayne Brady as hosts. I think they both were good. Josh Robert Thompson is on tonight. Just a heads up for anyone who didn't know.
  9. Too bad most of us will never be able to think of Whoopi like this ever again.
  10. She seemed like the rest of us in terms of being in shock that so much insanity now goes on at that table.
  11. I tuned out after Hot Topics and barely made it through that. The highlight though was Raven-Symone giving them all the side eye especially Whoopi when they were all laughing and cackling at themselves.
  12. March 2 - March 6, 2015 Monday "My Wife Chose Her Boyfriend over Her Children" George says his estranged wife, Rachel, once was loving, fun and honest, but after 19 years and six children together, he claims she has become a liar, cheater and an unfit mother who puts boyfriends ahead of her kids’ needs. George claims Rachel has had sex with a boyfriend while their children were home, and on another occasion she even gave their youngest kids melatonin to make them sleep so she could go out partying -- all of which Rachel denies. Rachel admits she had one affair during their marriage but claims it happened only after she discovered George had a girlfriend -- and she blames him for neglecting her and their family. With a divorce imminent, the estranged couple face each other on Dr. Phil’s stage. How has their fighting affected their children? Don’t miss Dr. Phil’s advice and words of warning for the separated couple. Can they calm the chaos and learn to peacefully co-parent? Tuesday Young, Jealous Love Ilene, 20, says her boyfriend of two years, Matt, 20, is destroying their relationship with his jealous and controlling behavior. She says he constantly accuses her of cheating on him, and nothing she has done to prove her faithfulness has eased his suspicions -- including quitting her job, deleting her social network profiles and passing a lie detector test. She says Matt’s lack of trust in her has turned to anger, and he often calls her demeaning names. She says he even cheated on her in retaliation and sent her an audio clip of the act. With a 1-year-old child together and another on the way, how can Ilene convince Matt she has been faithful? Matt admits he makes Ilene prove herself all the time but claims he is certain she has cheated -- and he even doubts that the baby she’s carrying is his. What’s behind Matt’s trust issues? Tune in to hear Dr. Phil’s theory. Can this relationship be saved? Wednesday Adoption Nightmare: "I Want My Baby Back" Kristen, 22, says two years ago, she feels that she was manipulated into placing her newborn for adoption with her ex-stepfather, Adam, and his new wife, Stacy, who took her in while she was pregnant. Kristen says the two promised her she could be involved in the child’s life but claims they kicked her to the curb a week after her daughter was born, and she hasn’t seen the child since. She calls Stacy “evil” and “psycho crazy”-- and even says she could have been drugged, because she says she has no recollection of signing the adoption papers. Adam and Stacy deny Kristen’s accusations and say she was in no way ready to care for a child -- which is why they stepped up. They are adamant they followed the letter of the law and communicated openly with Kristen. Emotions run high when Dr. Phil brings everyone together in search of answers and a resolution to this adoption drama. Are Adam and Stacy freezing Kristen out? Has she given them reason to? And, is there any hope of fostering a peace moving forward? Plus, Kristen is now pregnant again -- what are her plans for this baby? Thursday "My Daughter Hasn’t Spoken to Me in 7 Years - What’s Wrong with Her?" Peggy says her daughter, Jen, 38, hasn’t spoken to her in seven years, and she has no idea why. As a result, Brandy and Jacki won't allow Kimberly around their children anymore. Kimberly says her daughters are stirring up drama with half-truths and misinformation, and they need to butt out of her business. Dr. Phil looks at Brandy and Jacki's "evidence" and has some tough questions for Kimberly about her behavior. Can he get to the truth -- and help put this family back together? 13. I watch The Talk and would post more over there if that section was more active. I get annoyed by Sheryl sometimes but also try to remember she's a comedian and it seems like she turns to the comedy stuff sometimes as a way to deflect from giving an answer which I can relate to at times. I didn't watch the 2nd season and some of the 3rd because of being not so happy at the treatment of Holly and Leah but I tried watching again one day and found myself wanting to watch again and again. They do better at the "Hot Topic" segment that starts off the show then The View has in quite a few years and I find myself really missing when The View had hosts that got along and were respectful of one another when giving their opinions and such.
  14. I replied to someone's comment about Rosie on People's site. They were trying to say the baby should be removed and placed with a stable family because there was a divorce occurring. I swear there are people out there with ideas that are truly out of this world.
  15. I liked it too. It's obvious some people did like it and some people didn't just like with Two And A Half Men and just about any other show on TV.
  16. Christie Brinkley was on to hawk her skincare but there was no mention of where to go to get it, if it would be in stores or even a site to go to for more information.
  17. I liked her better yesterday when she didn't have anything to say.
  18. I was creeped out by it too. The kid Kevin Hart and kid GF looked startled and soooooo confused as to why the whole audience and the host were howling and laughing hysterically at them. It made me kinda sad.
  19. Oops. I forgot about that thread until you mentioned it.
  20. Since Naya Rivera is such a frequent guest co-host I've been waiting the past couple of days for them to mention or congratulate her since she announced that she's pregnant
  21. I tried watching some of today's show but couldn't make it through. For some reason though the fact that the table isn't big enough for 5 people really stood out to me today moreso then in the past.
  22. Another week of new shows... February 23 - February 27, 2015 Monday Time is Running Out for Prison-Bound Dad: Did His Wife Blackmail Him into Embezzling $300,000? Sarah, 20, and PJ, 21, claim that for the past two years, their mother, Kim, has chosen alcohol and pills over them and their two younger siblings. They say time is running out for her to get her act together -- because their father, Pete, is headed to prison for mail fraud in a matter of weeks, and they’re afraid their family will fall apart while he’s away. Kim says she is only an occasional drinker and insists she is not using pills -- but what will a drug test reveal? And, how does she explain two DUI crashes in recent years, including one that Pete claims she tried to cover up? Plus, Pete admits he was struggling to make ends meet when he came up with a plan to embezzle hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why does he say he blames Kim for his current predicament? With the clock ticking, the family confronts Kim in an emotional intervention on Dr. Phil’s stage. Will she agree to get help and become the mother her children say they need now, more than ever? Tuesday "I Believe My Cousin is Squandering Her Inheritance on a Love Scam" Sarah, 46, admits she has sent more than $1 million to her boyfriend, “Chris,” whom she met online just over a year ago but has yet to see in person. She says she loves “Chris” and dreams about marrying him -- once he’s able to return to the United States from Africa. Sarah’s cousin, Crystal, thinks Sarah is being conned into squandering her inheritance. So, how does she explain helping Sarah send “Chris” $50,000 -- despite her suspicion? And, why does “Chris” say he needs Sarah’s money to return home? Dr. Phil’s Facebook followers joined the effort to track down the man behind the photos of “Chris,” hoping to confirm his identity and allow Sarah to meet him face to face for the first time. Is this the real deal? Wednesday A Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde, or Confused Teens in Love? Dalton Hayes, 18, and Cheyenne Phillips, 13, have been dubbed a modern day “Bonnie and Clyde” by some in the media after the young couple fled Kentucky in January 2015 and allegedly evaded police during a two-week, multistate crime spree involving stolen cars, destroyed property and forged checks. Authorities say along the way, the teens stole three pickup trucks -- one with firearms inside -- before they were arrested in Florida. In a daytime television exclusive, Dr. Phil sits down with Dalton, who is behind bars facing multiple charges, including burglary and second-degree rape. Why does Dalton say they fled? And, he claims he didn’t know Cheyenne was only 13 at first -- why did he continue the relationship after he learned her age? Then, Dr. Phil speaks to Dalton’s mother, Tammy. How does she feel about the charges against her son? Thursday "I Am the Outcast of My Family, and They Threw Me Away Like Trash!" Marissa, 22, says her family treated her like an outcast during her childhood and turned their backs on her when she was 17. She says she later began working as an escort to make ends meet. Marissa claims Robin -- her biological aunt who adopted her as an infant -- was a bad mother to her and criticized her for her weight and race. Robin insists she was a loving mother and that Marissa had a happy childhood. She says Marissa spiraled out of control as a teen, and the family doesn’t support her controversial lifestyle. Marissa faces her family for the first time in three years on Dr. Phil’s stage. Did they reject her when she needed them most? How can Marissa get her life back on track? Plus, is there any hope for repairing this fractured family? Friday "My Husband’s Big Lottery Win is Ruining Our Marriage" Jodie says ever since her husband, Edwin, won $1.66 million in a lottery pool two years ago, he has become angry, distant and secretive -- and their marriage has gone downhill fast. She claims Edwin has squandered most of the winnings without her knowledge -- even buying a house for one of his family members without consulting her -- and she can’t trust him. She also says Edwin has a drinking problem, which she claims has resulted in explosive fights and arrests. Edwin denies having an alcohol problem and says he just drinks to escape Jodie’s nagging -- and he feels she’s only with him for the money. Why does he say their marital problems started long before his big lottery win? And, how does he explain his spending? Plus, Jodie’s mom, Linda, says Edwin has become a jerk toward Jodie’s 11-year-old twin girls from a previous relationship, while treating his 1-year-old daughter with Jodie like a princess. Is Edwin playing favorites? The couple sits down with Dr. Phil in a last-ditch effort to repair the damage. Can this marriage be saved?
  23. If Lizzie hadn't had that time to do on The View she wouldn't have been able to join the blonde bot brigade at Faux News.
  24. I fell asleep 15 minutes in while watching. Doesn't sound like I missed much.
  25. I may watch tomorrow to see Ryan Paevey.
