  2. He needs to read his own book and go on that diet he's promoting. Hopefully this venture into weight loss advice and etc. will end up like the last time with a lawsuit.
  3. New episodes are starting again. January 5 - January 9, 2015 Monday Mom vs. Dad: Who is Responsible for Their Daughter's Big Relapse? When 24-year-old Andee last met with Dr. Phil more than a year ago, she was struggling with drug addiction -- and her parents, Pam and Ed, were at odds, blaming each other. Pam claimed her ex-husband, Ed, was an alcoholic who enabled Andee by giving her money for drugs, while Ed accused Pam of treating their daughter like a child. Dr. Phil gave the parents specific instructions on what their next steps should be, and Andee went straight to rehab after the show taping. Did Pam and Ed follow his advice? Andee says she completed 90 days of rehab but later relapsed and is now desperately in need of Dr. Phil’s help once again. With her parents still pointing the finger at each other, who really is responsible for Andee’s downward spiral? And, Andee says she recently moved across the country to live with her new boyfriend -- is he enabling her? Dr. Phil has words of warning for the couple. Is Andee finally ready to commit to staying clean? Tuesday "Get off My Back about My Body" It’s a new year -- are you ready for a new you? Nicole says she wants to lose weight but says her "fitness freak" husband, George, has no compassion or empathy for her struggles, and his intense, drill-sergeant ways aren’t helping. George says Nicole is her own biggest obstacle to losing weight -- he says she’s lazy, makes excuses and gives up too easily -- and all his efforts to help her have only strained their relationship. How can he motivate his wife? And, Dominique says she knows she needs to lose weight but says her mom, JoAnn, won’t stop nagging her about it. Could JoAnn be sabotaging her daughter with her constant comments? Then, Charles says ever since his identical twin brother, Adam, lost 90 pounds, he has become an arrogant jerk who loves to embarrass Charles about his body. Adam says his brother resents him for getting healthier and needs a serious wake-up call about his weight. Can these brothers heal their relationship while getting to a healthier place? Wednesday "My Mother is a Menace! She is Controlling My Daughter with Her Money and Turning Her against Me" Rachel says her mother, Dixie, is "controlling, narcissistic and pure evil" and has turned her 18-year-old daughter, Abbie, against her. She says Dixie is buying her daughter’s loyalty and affection and claims that’s the only reason Abbie chooses to live with her grandmother. Rachel -- who hasn’t spoken to Dixie in eight months -- admits she was a party girl when she was younger and often wasn’t around for Abbie, but she insists she has changed. How can she repair her relationship with her mother and her daughter? Dixie says she doesn’t trust that Rachel is really a changed woman, and she feels Abbie is better off living with her. What does Abbie have to say about her living situation -- and her relationship with her mother? Dr. Phil reunites the three generations. Can they hit the reset button and move forward in a peaceful, healthy way? Thursday "Dr. Phil, Save My Family" Allen and Cheryl say their 9-year-old son, Steve, is terrorizing their family. They say he has threatened to harm his siblings multiple times, tells his teachers that he wants to blow up his family’s home and shows no empathy for others or remorse for his bad behavior. They say Steve has been diagnosed with 18 mental illnesses and has been placed in three mental hospitals in the last year alone, but nothing seems to help for long. The parents turn to Dr. Phil for answers. What’s at the root of Steve’s bad behavior? Cheryl’s mother and two sisters say they believe the boy is overmedicated and under-parented -- and they say Cheryl’s blog about her parenting challenges is also a cause for concern. How does Cheryl respond? Then, Dr. Phil sits down with Steve for a one-on-one conversation. Does he see room for change? And, world-renowned child clinical psychologist Dr. Alan Kazdin shares a suggested plan for changing behavior in the child -- and the parents. How can Allen and Cheryl regain a peaceful, healthy family? Friday 300 Women and Counting: "My Brother is Addicted to Everything, and It’s All My Mom’s Fault" Ashley says she is desperate to get help for her older brother, Justin, 32, who she says is addicted to everything -- including sex, alcohol and pain pills. Justin admits he has slept with at least 300 women and struggles with substance abuse, but he blames his mother, Laura, for his problems -- which he claims stem from his rocky childhood. Laura admits she wasn’t the best mother to Justin, whom she had when she was only 18, at times prioritizing men and partying over parenting. She also says she has a history of being involved in abusive relationships, which her children witnessed. Still, she thinks Justin needs to get over the past and stop making excuses for his own bad behavior. Dr. Phil sits down with the family in search of a resolution -- and has some tough questions for everyone involved. Is there a family legacy that needs to be broken? Will Laura finally accept the role she plays in Justin’s struggles? And, can Justin -- who is now a parent himself -- commit to getting clean and getting his life back on track?

Monday "My Drunken Daughter Will Die if She Doesn't Stop Drinking Hand Sanitizer" Toni says her daughter, Kristine, is battling an alcohol addiction and has resorted to drinking hand sanitizer as a cheap way to get her fix. She says her daughter drinks nearly a gallon and a half of hand sanitizer a week and believes it’s only a matter of time before Kristine dies. Toni, along with Kristine’s sisters, Dawn and April, say they’re concerned for Kristine’s 8-year-old daughter, who has become Kristine’s caretaker and is witnessing her downfall. The siblings also say their mother enables Kristine, which is preventing her from getting her act together. Kristine says her family is dysfunctional, and they’re the reason she can’t stay sober. David and Lori say they are fed up with their 26-year-old son, Christopher, who they say was once a model child but is now lazy, unmotivated and still living at home. The parents say Christopher is a total slob who can’t hold a steady job, drinks and smokes pot and doesn’t even take the proper steps to manage his diabetes. Christopher says he gets annoyed at his parents constantly telling him what to do and would like to be living on his own, but his part-time, minimum-wage job doesn’t cut it. So, why isn’t he looking for additional work? Dr. Phil delivers a dose of reality -- especially to Christopher’s parents, who admit they make life quite comfortable for their son. Jeanne says her daughter has become rude, disrespectful, verbally and physically abusive, and she’s worried Cheyenne is throwing away her promising future. Cheyenne says she loves Josh, and no one can keep her from seeing him -- not even her mother. Desperate for help, Amie says she began posting videos of Jayden’s tantrums online, one of which has received more than 2.5 million views. But Jayden’s father, Chad, says Amie is just looking for attention and blames her for their son’s bad behavior, claiming she sometimes triggers his outbursts. 6. Rosie is going to be on Letterman tonight. Not sure when it was taped though.
  7. I missed the show today due to going back to sleep because I'm sick. It looks like I missed A LOT based on the posts I've read about today's show. Too bad today is Thursday which makes me wonder if there will be any new episodes next week due to the holidays coming up. There was a little girl she and her first wife had fostered in Florida a long time ago named Mia (I had to look that up) who I think was AA. They wouldn't allow Rosie to adopt her because she was/is gay. I can't find anything online about the child being AA now but I could have sworn reading back then that she was.
  8. That shirt Daphne Oz wore was NOT her friend at all.
  9. He did that on The View too but with Whitney Houston and it was just as awkward on there.
  10. Sorry this is late... He says Jim is money-hungry, selfish and untrustworthy and claims his dad has called the police on him multiple times -- including once for "stealing" a pork chop! Jim, who works over the holidays as a Santa Claus, says all he wants for Christmas is peace in his house. He says his son is an entitled, ungrateful "mooch" who could never survive on his own. Dr. Phil intervenes in this father-son feud. Why hasn't Jim told his son to leave? Hear from Jon's brother, Jimmy, and mother, Luann -- what do they say about the drama? Wednesday (New) The Night Four Girls Went into the Woods and Only Three Came Out Alive Dr. Phil takes a hard look at a disturbing trend in the news: Teenagers murdering their best friends. Several recent cases, including the fatal stabbing of Skylar Neese, have shocked the nation, leaving many to wonder: Why and how could this happen? Hear from a woman who says she lived exactly such a scenario. Karen was just 17 years old in 1985 when she and a friend lured Missy Avila, also 17, to a spot in the woods where her life would ultimately end. Karen, who spent 23 years behind bars for her involvement in Missy's death, recounts that fateful day. What does she say happened? And, if she could go back, what would she do differently? Thursday (New) "I'm Divorcing the Real-Life Mommy Dearest" Jamie says his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jennifer, is a real-life "Mommy Dearest" who verbally attacks their two children constantly -- yelling at them, calling them "stupid" and even waking them up at night to correct their chores. He says the drama has gotten so bad, he got a protection order against Jennifer -- something she claims he did in order to force her out of their lives. Jennifer admits she's strict but absolutely denies being abusive and says Jamie is exaggerating. When Dr. Phil brings this estranged couple together in search of a resolution, Jennifer confesses a disturbing and dangerous behavior. When offered a chance to get her life back on track, will Jennifer accept? Friday (New) Won't Work, Won't Go to School: "My Son Just Wants to Game All Day" Sarah says her 23-year-old son, Justin, is so consumed with playing video games that he dropped out of college, can't hold a job and is neglecting his health -- losing more than 50 pounds -- and she fears he'll die if he doesn't stop. Sarah says she has tried cutting off Justin financially and giving him ultimatums, but he always finds a way to continue gaming to excess. Justin admits he plays 16 hours a day -- sometimes lasting up to 30 hours straight -- and says he would rather live in the virtual world than the real world. What could be driving his behavior? And, has his hobby become an addiction that could eventually kill him? With the help of Dr. Rachael Ross, co-host of the Emmy Award-winning show The Doctors, Dr. Phil opens Justin's eyes to the potential health dangers he faces. Will it have an impact? Plus, how can Justin regain traction in his life?
  11. I wonder if Rosie O has tried to get them to bring one of them on and Whoopi has argued against it? I mean they couldn't really turn down Beverly Johnson after the way it's been all over the news since she spoke out. I agree with what was said up thread about being on edge every time Keke opened her mouth during that whole interview. When Whoopi asked if Beverly was concerned back then about what drug she had been given it and the part about the doorman it seemed like Keke piggy backed and repeated the questions in a more accusatory tone. I missed the rest of the show after Hot Topics so not sure what went on afterwards.

  13. She could have heard about Bill years ago but if he never tried anything with her then she probably doesn't believe what he did to others could have happened.
  14. Rosie O made me tear up today. Right after that Whoopi opened her mouth and I wanted to punch a wall out of frustration.
  15. Monday (NEW) "My Bulimic Daughter Thinks Calories are Contagious" Wanda says her 15-year-old daughter, Bella, is battling an eating disorder, and she fears for the teen’s life. She says Bella is obsessed with being skinny and will starve herself and then binge and purge. She also says her daughter associates germs with calories -- causing her to wash her hands obsessively, change her clothes several times a day and hold her breath so she doesn’t “catch calories.” Bella admits she is so obsessed with food, she can’t concentrate in school, hoards food in her bedroom and binges and purges 30 to 40 times a day. Why does she say she blames her mother for her disorder? And, will she grab on to the lifeline Dr. Phil offers? This program contains adult subject matter. Viewer discretion advised. Tuesday (New) A Woman’s Memories or Murder: Was There a Crime or Another Traumatic Event? Lauren says that in March 2004 she was kidnapped from her home at gunpoint, sold into sex slavery and witnessed a woman’s murder -- all in just eight days. She says she somehow managed to escape but claims her memory of the ordeal was lost until five years ago, when she started having flashbacks. Lauren says she has gone to the police, but they don’t believe her -- and she admits even she questions herself at times. Dr. Phil sits down with Lauren and her mother, Hannah, in search of answers. Why does Hannah say her daughter could not have been missing during that time? Friday All-New Dr Phil Check back soon for more on this exciting, all-new Dr. Phil!
  16. She respects her peers but not the viewers.
  17. Whoopi was so happy about Ray Rice that she was almost glowing and came across as borderline gloating which made me uncomfortable and kinda angry. I'm still feeling this way even though the show was on quite a few hours ago. Andy did seem to give Whoopi the side eye more then a couple of times which she completely deserved. There may not have been many "sparks" on today's show but there were at least a couple WTF moments.
  18. I was happy to see Andy today because I didn't know he was going to be on. Whoopi talking about Ray Rice and all the "mmm hmmm" and "uh huh" replies from her are driving me crazy already. At least the others are making sense this morning.
  19. I don't know what either of those women on the 'I'm Torn Between My Wife and My Girlfriend' saw in that guy. As Phub went through all the stuff she didn't leave him over my mouth stayed hung open. That wife needs some serious long term therapy to learn how to love herself and realize she shouldn't settle for guys like that.
  20. Look who's getting into the diet book and etc. business again. It worked out so well for last time. Wonder if he's going to take some of his own advice? Here's a link to an article about his previous foray into weight loss shilling. http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/life/people/2006-09-26-dr-phil-diet_x.htm Monday (NEW) A Daughter on the Brink: Did Mom Push Her over the Edge? Dana says her 23-year-old daughter, Melanie, is ripping apart their once-peaceful family with her out-of-control behavior that Dana says began five years ago, after Melanie took a hit of ecstasy. Dana says Melanie is a drug abuser who is physically violent and has experienced psychotic hallucinations -- including one that involved Michael Jackson telling her to dig up the front yard. What’s at the root of Melanie’s behavior? Melanie admits to experimenting with drugs but says she’s not addicted and hasn’t had a drug-induced psychosis in at least two years -- and she blames her mother for pushing her buttons and causing her to lose her cool. Andre says his sister, Valerie, isn’t just a gold digger -- she’s a “platinum digger” who preys on men with money and power, especially professional athletes. He says he fears Valerie’s sexy, scheming ways are going to get her seriously hurt -- or even killed -- and he’s tired of rescuing her when her relationships go south. Valerie admits she has made some bad dating decisions but insists she’s fine and Andre needs to butt out. She says she has a natural talent for “manipulating the situation” -- which has brought her money, jewelry, lavish trips and luxury cars -- but denies being a gold digger. How does she describe her behavior? And, why does she say Andre is in no position to judge her? Dr. Phil intervenes in this brother-sister feud. Can Valerie and Andre fix their fractured bond?
  21. Phub always leaves out important parts of stories and it's gotten worse the longer he's been on. He'd rather have his guests stories as sensational as possible so he can look like the big savior to everyone including himself in his own mind. As was mentioned awhile back in this thread Phub and Mrs. Phub seem to think viewers and guests are the little people compared to them. One day something is going to happen to bring one or both of them back to planet earth.
  22. I don't think this return is turning out to be anything like she expected. She probably didn't think Whoopi would be this hard to work with for starters. I feel bad for her because she seemed so excited when the season first started.
  23. We could have played a drinking game and ended up drunk with all the times Phub said "Dr. On Demand" today.
  24. The Talk did a much better job discussing the Bill Cosby situation yet again.
  25. I'm so sorry Dissy. I was lucky enough to have a Mom that believed me and while the person who did it only spent one night in jail she fought hard to protect me for years due to the perpetrator being my Father. We left while he was out of town for work and moved in with my Grandmother.
