$56 without surge pricing (my buddy lives in their building, so if they started from home this is very accurate).

I would actually buy the hell out of that -- as long as it doesn't taste like that skinny girl swill. It's probably more likely to do well than his chunky sweater line. I assume Brit helped guide him on this one. ETA: Not that I've been thinking about this nonstop since posting, but I did waste a few more brain cells on it and I think I'm more likely to buy this than The Witches of WeHo's wine.

To be fair, taking an Uber or Lyft is pretty standard in LA when going out. I can't remember the last time I went out and someone drove. I drove myself to an event once this year, but it was specifically so I had a reason not to drink. I'm pretty sure there's a reason Kyle Chan is synonymous with chuckle fuck jewelry and that reason is probably a steep discount.

Neptune's Net is an institution. It's been there forever and is very popular. Also, it's delicious and has a wonderful beer selection. On WWHL Brit explained it was the perfect place for them. It has special meaning to them, Jax's dad loved the place, and going out for crab is their thing. Oddly enough, I think I remember them talking about going to The Boiling Crab or some place like that in some past episode, which seems so random, but wouldn't be if they go out for crab weekly like she said. So Rob dumped Sheena's ass pretty much as soon as filing was done? I love Stassi and Jax being friends now and dug her bro-ing out with Beau, Jax, and Schwartz. I heard Jax on some radio show right about when they started filming and he was super pissed about James fucking with Brit with that "rap". He was basically like Brit is nice to everyone and doesn't deserve James being an asshole to her and, if I remember correctly, his theory was James did it on purpose because they were about to start filming so he wanted to start some drama. The yacht party show after this is looking like bullshit. Don't promise me "it's like Vanerpump Rules and Below Deck had a baby," and then give me that dreck.

S11.E05: Tatted Tales

Attend kid parties with caution if you aren't usually around kids. I always end up sick as fuck after my nephew's birthday due to all the kid germs. My immune system isn't used to it because I normally only interact with adults. I even started carrying hand sanitizer with me to his parties and it doesn't help. I think this year I was on the bathroom floor for a week. I'm pretty sure one of my cousins was still in her 20s when she was a mawmaw :( -

The anecdote about the youngest shaking uncontrollably and being too hysterical to talk because John was at a holiday made me not like her. There were a few things said that made me think that wasn't unusual behavior for her. -
I could wax poetic about Chandler's shortcomings for days. There was a lot wrong with him. I feel like a lot of the time he actually opted to not be around Rhylee or interact with her because he can't handle confrontation and any interactions with her pretty much guarantees it. That seemed to be a lot of his problem as a manager - he'd rather hide in his room than deal with problems. He'd rather keep his head in the sand than be proactive. He sees it as not wanting to micromanage, but it was not wanting to make decisions and handle problems. I don't think his disdain for Kate was she was a woman, it was because she was telling his entitled ass what to do, he didn't like it coming from Lee either but was smart enough to "yes sir" him to his face. I agree. He was an incompetent douche and she's an asshole with a giant chip on her shoulder. Her chip may very well be from having to work her way up in a male dominated field, but I'm willing to bet it was already there. Doesn't mean Chandler is a misogynist as many were willing to label him immediately after one confrontation with her (nevermind the fact that she had problems with several people right out of the gate). It's actually kind of reductive and infantilizes Rhylee to make all about Chandler's alleged hate for women and none of it about her actions or attitude (this is not directed at you). None of the guys got up in his face like Rhylee did. They were far more diplomatic in their interactions, likely in deference to his rank as they didn't seem particularly fond of him either. There were also posts talking about Ross and Ashton having a problem with Rhylee daring to be a woman on the deck crew until it turned out they were actually pretty decent. It seems like for some every guy is a misogynist until proven otherwise. You can not like a woman without hating all women. Should we label Rhylee as a misandrist because she's seemed to have problems with most of the males on the boat? I choose to believe it is more likely that she's just a garden variety asshole, same with Chandler.

FML. Is psychological rape a thing now? I just can't. A major storyline on Bruno's season was him and Kate having problems because he thought he knew more about how to run the interior If you read the psychological rape story there was a link in there to the article about the allegations, but it was hard to see because that site appears to be designed and formatted (and possibly written) by 5 year olds. https://allaboutthetea.com/2018/10/30/caroline-bedol-exposes-kate-chastain/ But it's much more on trend to label Chandler a misogynist than to look at Ryhlee's behavior.

She sleeps in this to train her face -
Not only that, but they had to coddle, cuddle, baby, and praise her.

I love Cary enough to overlook her faults (and there are many). Her just being so fucking over it with both Brandi and LeAnne was my everything. LeAnne's styling on her clueless outfit was horrible and did make her look like a crazed SWF copy of Kam.

Fact vs. Fiction: The Podcast and the Real People

I assume it's multiple dads because the kids had a lot of years in between them and with 5 husbands I doubt she was married to any one of them for over 10 years. I can't remember the exact ages of the older ones, but I think they were late 30s. I might be wrong. It was mentioned only once. I disliked the entire family except the nephew and maybe the kids that were not on the podcast. I'm sure if the nephew talked more I'd dislike him too and would have probably disliked the other kids. I've got more than enough hate to go around. -
I dropped a light bulb this evening. I was more proactive and careful about making sure my dogs didn't step in broken glass than Caroline was about the kids. Of course while I was cleaning up broken glass one of my dogs was eating cookies out of my purse and now has an upset tummy, so I'm still a fuck up.
-
So let me make sure I'm getting this straight, you think Chandler and Caroline were scapegoats and Kate is a bad person? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
-
When looking at Caroline's resume Kate predicted crazy upon seeing the psych degree by saying something like "did you notice girls with psych degrees are always the crazy ones?" Andy is short. He's almost always shorter than male guests on WWHL. And Josiah is a gymnast, so I would expect him to be compact. Since she gave 2 days notice she was still on the clock and would be expected to work. She was earning a wage.

The mom is actually proud of being responsible for the light sentence. If my mom pulled some shit like that you best believe I'd haunt her ass. -
I don't know what Lee would have done about it except maybe have more of a heads to get a new stew. He wasn't going to fix Caroline without a medical degree and an Rx pad. While I don't disagree with the assessment of Caroline as an internet psychiatrist, she's even worse because she's got a psych degree under her belt. It probably validates all her crazy theories. Emily, like Jamie, is hotter on IG than on the boat.
-
Kate and Josiah sitting side by side listening to Caroline's BS with identical head tilts made me chuckle. They really are stew soulmates. Of course Ryhlee turned Ross forgetting the bug spray and ponchos into a personal slight. Then Ross is nice to her and tries to give her a break and she loses her shit. She is an asshole. Chef might be a ticking time bomb. I can't say I'm exactly surprised. I don't think I would have gone in that waterfall pool. I went on a waterfall hike in Hawaii and got an infection from contaminated water. Now I'm totally skeeved out by water like that. Obviously Ashton isn't severely hurt in the accident, but the previews still make me queasy and anxious. Speaking of the previews, hooking up with your problem employee is definitely the best move to make right after getting promoted. Way to go Ross.
-
I'm pretty sure Lee has said he'd never work with Rocky again. At the very least, it was obvious he strongly disliked her at the reunion. On Rocky, it depends on your definition of entertaining. She was like nails on a chalkboard for me. Regarding Rhylee, what was her excuse for all the other times she's been a dick to people (Ashton, Ross, Kate)? She's consistently an asshole.

The thing is, saying Kelly does coke and is a bad mom isn't the worst thing Vicki has ever done. In the realm of Vicki, it's not even that bad. It might seem worse because she's been trying to be good this season, but let's not forget she's a cancer scamming asshole. -
Yeah, IDK, she's going to have to do a lot to dethrone Rocky.

I have more than enough hate in me to go around. Just because the daughters are right about John doesn't mean they can't be annoying AF. Also, they are not kids. IRL when this all goes down the one that lives at home is 26 and the other one is 24. I am predisposed to not liking them from things from the podcast. I think the only family member I didn't dislike was the nephew. Also, their distrust of John and their criticism of their mother isn't what I find annoying about the daughters, but since it was from the podcast and not on the show yet, I can't go into specifics here. I really disliked Debra and then felt like an asshole when I listened to the live episode of the podcast about domestic abuse.

I think there's more to Debra's family of origin that set her up for this than the podcast covered. I need to see if I can stream the Dateline episode and possibly do more reading to see if it gets touched on. For those that didn't listen to the podcast, Debra's older sister got married very quickly at a young age. The guy ended up being controlling and maybe abusive (I don't remember if it was divulged). The sister eventually met someone else and left the husband. The husband put a gun up against the back of her neck and shot her in response to her leaving him. He then shot himself, but lived. Debra's mother was all like "I still love you," to him and testified in his defense at his trial and seemed very proud that she felt responsible for him getting such a light sentence. The DA said he'd never seen a victim thrown under the bus in such a way by her own family before. It was also hinted at that Debra had been in previous abusive relationships. For both daughters to fall into abusive relationships and the mother to defend her daughter's murderer in such a way, I think there's definitely something going on in that family. There's multiple mentions of being Christian, seeing the best in people, giving second chances, forgiveness, etc. But come on.
