  1. Not that it has anything to do with anything, but I believe that was a charter guest and his finacee. I think Charles Michael Yim was his name?
  2. Not only this, but Lisa has a decade of Katie being her employee to base her opinion on and has said multiple times that Katie never makes problems and is a great employee. I'd like to think they'd be more inventive -- the shitty place on the corner in my transitional neighborhood is like $12 for breakfast, I'm sure SUR is in the $20 range. LA has a lot of great brunch spots with amazing options, so if I'm gonna drop $20 on my breakfast entree I need to be dazzled by a creative dish or fancy ingredients. I guess SUR has the "scene" to draw people in though, so they could just throw together some omelettes and avocado toast, maybe a bottomless mimosa or sangria option, and call it a day. If we're going by this definition (and I don't think we should be), then Billie is the weakest of all.
  3. Not as interesting SUR is where you bring your mistress and you don't take your mistress to brunch? Brunch is not sexy nor unique?
  4. Is Billie main credits or just kind of a "friend of"? Because it seems like maybe Katie only tagged main credits people on her IG post. And also, how much of an asshole do you have to be to cause a bunch of drama over not being tagged in an IG post? I feel dumber for even thinking about it.
  5. It must be exhausting going through life looking for reasons to be offended.
  6. Maybe it was custom made? I mean if you're going to go through all the trouble with the tattoos and memory erasing and what not, what's a little sewing?
  7. So were they trolling us by calling this The Big Reveal? Because I'm pretty sure no one who has ever watched TV was surprised by anything that was "revealed" in this episode. I was, however, surprised that the son was actually the son and not a plant and that he wasn't calling a fake finacee to surreptitiously let the bad guys know the scientist had been found. Or at the very least his fiancee wasn't a plant. We didn't see how the recording was obtained of him telling her though. The assumption is his phone was tapped, but maybe he didn't get in trouble for being a dipshit so that the finacee being evil can put Jane's cure in peril in a future episode.
  8. Tyler saying those things was my favorite part of the episode. I had to pause after "Rhylee doesn't want me to tell anybody but, uh, we banged last night. It's pretty special to me." because I was laughing so hard I almost fell off the couch. It was pretty special to me.
  9. Not sure if it's because I'm an old now or not, but I wasn't as into this as I was the original. I remember loving the original enough to have viewing parties and usually I'm completely against people coming to my house.
  10. Can you imagine having to endure Adrian's comments all day and then having to share a room and bathroom with him?
  11. Plus my Uber would be $10+ each way. I only live 3 miles away and I swear it wasn't that much last time I Ubered. Rates must have gone up in the last couple of months. So the conundrum is if I uber so I can drink I can't afford to actually drink 😄 I guess I could do Bird or Lime, but riding a scooter up La Cienega sounds terrifying and I'd have to uber home anyway. I have a friend that lives right there, but it for sure is not his scene. The Witches of Weho have a wine coming out next month. Didn't Kristin and Carter just go to Australia and Katie and Tom to Japan? I've thought about this a little bit lately and I think for main cast Katie might be the smartest, followed by Stassi. As I said upthread, I'm constantly surprised by Stassi's lack of knowledge on her podcast, but I think that's because she seems smart compared to Jax, FI, Brit, Lala, James, Scheena, etc. Oh, I forgot about mensa member Arianna. I guess she's the smartest.
  12. He's dead. So I'm iffy on Stassi's podcast. Sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes I don't. And I'm often aggravated because she doesn't know simple things (for instance, she was an English major and doesn't know that ... is called an ellipsis). The December 15th episode is kind of annoying because I'm not into her guest, but at about 30 minutes in they take a detour into mildly dragging Billie Lee and it is delightful.
  13. I might be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure this is true to life according to the podcast. The breathy giggly voice and puppy dog eyes are all Debra. Connie is just doing a fabulous job of portraying her. I think they were trying to make it seem like she was going to the Stagecoach Festival, which is like Coachella, but about half the size and country music. As someone else said, she was really just going to a concert at Irvine Meadows. It's an amphitheater of fairly decent size. I don't think it holds as much as a stadium, but it's pretty big, so maybe like 20k people. I feel like you're extra vulnerable after surgery because drugs. I can only imagine that brain surgery can in instances make one even more vulnerable. Shes dangerously bad at it and for her it doesn't seem like practice is making perfect. Just based on personality, we were shown that he was extremely vindictive and was taught by his dad that when someone pisses you off you go after their family. That combine with him being a shitbag is alone enough to make it make sense to me. According to the Oxygen special the theory among those involved is that he was going to use Terra to lure Debra and then kill them both. The change from psychological warfare to physical was attributed to his failing health.
  14. Damn it. It is full of things I love, but $16:( Maybe if I'm already over there for some reason and have money burning a hole in my pocket. They need a happy hour.
  15. I've done it in real life though and it's totally not awesome. Printers just don't bust up that well. Throwing keyboards off a movie theater roof was way better.
  16. If that drink with the gin and hibiscus made it on to the Tom Tom menu, then I might have to go there. I love gin and love hibiscus and have never had them together that I can remember.
  17. It might be his first suspension (I'd have to go back and check), but he was fired in the first couple of episodes of season 3 for getting in the beemer-selfie fight at Scheena's birthday with FI Tom. Hilariously, James ignored the fact that he was fired and just showed up for his shift a couple hours later and had to be sent home. I'm not sure, but I think it is season 3 episode 2.
  18. Fuck this show. I was already losing interest to where I forgot to watch the last 3 episodes until last night. Then they decided to double down on the worst aspects of the show (Vanessa and Sam). I'm pretty sure I'm out.
  19. I can't picture Debra public speaking, not for lack of wanting, but because she seems so damn dim.
  20. Firstly, everything that was already said up thread about Ryhlee starting fights as soon as she stepped on the boat. She's really lucky that people had Chandler to scapegoat her behavior on, because it is being largely overlooked that she immediately had problems with the bulk of the crew. Secondly, I don't think she is watching and learning. She was on WWHL a while back and was horrible.
  21. I apologize, I haven't seen a network ad in months. I haven't been watching anything in real time.
  22. I was not trying to negate your view. That is why I was very careful to state "in my experience" and that I wasn't saying it didn't happen, just that it was not 100% across the board that way every where. And I also mentioned that a good deal of my experience is in gaming development because it is notorious for being a boys club.
