S07.E16: I Don't Like the Sound of Your Voice
yourmomiseasy replied to OnceSane's topic in Vanderpump Rules
Katie always uses big words when fighting. It's why I love her rants - the combo of the big words and her cadence. Schwartz is a dick. He could have at least given Katie a pat on the shoulder when he was standing over her or something like that to just acknowledge her presence instead of outright ignoring her at TomTom. I'm not saying he needed to stop what he was doing and have a conversation, but at least let her know that he sees that she's there and he's happy about it. Then in Mexico the first thing he does is ask if she's been drinking -- I loved that the other girls pointed out that it wasn't cool. And then once they get to their room he goes out on the balcony and starts shit with her. But he's so nice and such a little puppy that it couldn't be his fault. I can understand how it is enraging to Katie to be gaslighted like this and she has expressed in the past how upsetting it is to her that no one sees his bad deeds and thinks he's so great and all the blame falls on her. -
I assume the one I posted was taken in October 2018 because the article it was in said everything was taking place then. She's basically naked and looks pretty damn good. https://www.vogue.com/projects/13547011/babes-in-pump-land-vanderpump-rules-bravo/ Here's another look. I cropped it so that I didn't have to size it down. I'm going to disagree with the size guesses. I am constantly surprised at how tiny Stassi is. I think her giant boobs and face shape might make her look heavier. I also think Katie and Brittany are similar sizes but Katie dresses worse (which, Brit dresses pretty bad, so...) and I think is less aware of her angles (which also says a lot because didn't she used to model?). Here's a pic from Disneyland a few weeks ago (notice Katie is straight on while Brit is angled?). Here's Arianna and Stassi together during their mother fucking birthday last year I'd say Kristin contributed more to Lisa's bottom line by really bringing the crazy and making this show great. Kristin was central to a lot of drama in the early seasons and greatly contributed to the ratings. VPR brings way more business to SUR than DJ James Kennedy's phat beats -- and let's be real, James DJing wouldn't be a draw without this show. I'm going to wager that Lisa also makes a lot of money from the show being popular than just increased receipts at SUR. There's also the false narrative that she's new to the area and doesn't have any friends besides those on VPR. Lies. They are just the only friends she has in the area that get her TV time. She's from the LA area. She just went to college in Nor Cal. Instagram makes it seem like they work out regularly. I think a lot of them started working out more in the last year-ish.
-
And it's not like James is the first of them to punch someone.

They control when they are going to see you again because they are the ones that decide if you can renew by mail or not. You have to go in person every X years for renewal. Name changes are a thing that specifically has to be done in person and specifically requires a new picture. If you lose your license you have to go in person, but a new photo is not required if you are just getting a duplicate.
-
The last time I had a new picture done was in Santa Monica and the guy didn't like the first one and took and second and it's a really good picture. I like Stassi, but I'm frequently disappointed by how not-smart she is. She's not exactly dumb, but she's not smart. I'm sure he has a valid passport. My passport is good longer than my license. I'm not dealing with the real ID BS until I have to. I can see him doing it though since he was already there, I guess. I wish I was fat like Katie. I mainly hate her because she's a raging entitled bitch, but also there's what you're saying. I kind of flip flop on it. Is she acting because in her head everything is The Billie Show or is she a try hard because she's so used to not being accepted for who she is. If you change your address online you don't have to get a new picture. You just don't get a license with the correct address until you renew. I changed my address online and then renewed by mail or online when the time came and have a picture that's probably 14-15 years old with an address that's only 8 years old.

Katie Maloney: She Was Taking Her Shoes Off!

5.) She is older than she used to be 6.) She can actually afford to eat now (The witches have said they used to be so skinny because they couldn't afford food) Honestly though, in real time she's looking pretty good. -
Going by his stated age, he would have graduated high school in 1997. Someone posted before that they were in the same class as him and I think it was when he was pretending to be younger, but it did put his age at 40-ish now. I am Jax years old-ish, so I was probably applying around the same time as him. It sounds like Michigan State was harder to get into than the UC system back then. I can't remember the exact details because I'm old and the UCs were just a back-up for me and I had really good test scores and grades so I wasn't concerned, I just remember laughing at how low the standards were for in-state kids. It was a scale so if your SAT was high your grades could be low or vice versa, so I think if you had ~1400 you could in theory dip below a 3.0 and if you had a 4.0 your SAT could be down around 1000, not that either scenario is super likely. You wouldn't necessarily get into the campus you wanted with the guaranteed entry though, like you could have wanted Berkeley and only gotten Riverside.

Was it easier to get into Michigan State back then and did it have different easier requirements for in-state students? Back in the 90s I know the UCs were super easy for California residents to get into. There was a rubric for guaranteed admission.

I mean I shouldn't be looking for realism from this show, but this is the shortest stay on death row ever. I kind of remember them saying Red couldn't appeal since he pleaded guilty, so I guess that sped it up a little, but still. Also, I missed basically the entire plot because I couldn't pay attention. Not sure if I want to give it a second try or not. I'm still confused about what Lizzie's big plan was.

Every time I saw them pushing around the empty stroller I was pre-occupied with where the baby was. The empty seat was clearly for an older child like Frankie. Was it some weird double decker stroller where the baby is down by the ground under the older child seat? Because that seems like a stupid design.

They said the name a few times. They show the sign as James is walking up. The have a chyron pointing out a guy is "David / Owner, Ohm". Then they show James and David walking through the doors with the club name on them. Then James talks about how he is DJing at Omh at Hollywood and Highland. Then the limo with the Toms and triplets pulls up and they show the Ohm sign again and they walk through the doors with the name on them. That's just in like a 2 minute period. Then in scenes of them at the club you can see the name in the background at various times. James mentioning it was at Hollywood and Highland is how I knew it was a stupid 18 and over shitty mall club. I'm pretty sure it is by the Dave and Busters and it has had several names over the years. Are you big into shitty tourist trap clubs at malls in LA? If not, it isn't for you. I am not into them, but as soon as they mentioned Hollywood and Highland I knew because I have occasionally gone there over the last 2 decades to shop or go bowling at the Lucky Strike for parties (offices love renting out the Lucky Strike for parties, which is a shame because the lanes there are not right and I'm almost as serious about my bowling as Ariana is about comedy) and I used to go there a lot like 15 years ago because there was a shitty sushi bar that had a good happy hour and then a couple hours break and it was lady's night so if you lined up the drinks at the end of happy hour you could stay drunk enough until the cheap lady's night drinks started and one of the bar tenders would even let us order ahead and then just make the drinks as we needed them. I also used to use that subway station sometimes, but I can't remember the last time I took the red line.

LOL, good luck on that fool's errand. -
On her podcast last week Stassi said it was overwhelming how many people came up to them and that there was a line to get pictures with them and it was just crazy.

I forgot. I loved Arianna pointing out that FI gets grief for a lot of Schwartz's fuckery because "ooh, Schwartz is such a nice guy, I just can't be mad at him." I feel like most of the time she's ambivalent, at best, in regards to FI, so I enjoyed her getting mad on his behalf and she wasn't wrong.

So he gets a helmet and she doesn't? True love. -
I think Lance is friends with LVP. I agree it is shitty to dis-invite based on a transgression that pre-dates the invite. I think that shitty 18 and over mall club would have given a private booth and comped booze for filming even if James was not DJing. Her brother had recently committed suicide. She might just be dulled with grief, but I also don't think it would be outlandish for her o have been on a prescription. Thank you for spelling milquetoast correctly. I see milktoast and rediculous so often that I start to question what's right. Rediculous sets my teeth on edge. I was starting to feel sorry for James and then he reminded me that he's an asshole. I don't care what anyone thinks -- I love Katie. I especially love it when she goes on a tirade and she had a good one this episode.

I think that's because in BH everyone has to chip in in an attempt to make the drama seem less lame. -

Denise's husband isn't in his 20s right now. He's definitely at least mid-40s. I'd wager they are close in age. I'm sure I could google it, but I'll just let his skin and grey beard inform my guess. -

I drove myself and my dad stuck some money in my account so I could buy what I needed and then my mom came out the next day to bring what wouldn't fit in my car and for lunch. If there were tears I didn't know about them. Neither Erika's current house nor Beverly Hills are in the valley. Kyle's new house is in the valley. LOL! What show are you watching? Not this one. Rinna mentioned it previously. It kind of seems manipulative, huh? I'm not sure I agree with Teddi's definition of true facts. I LOLed at Erika or Dorit acting like Teddi discovered some cute little cantina and brought them to it on the horse ride. I'm pretty sure it was just the basic Sunset Ranch lunch ride. I wonder if they bought the Groupon. -

I agree, but apparently, cats are terrorists and households including them have to go under. I'm 100% certain that shit weasel will have no problem ignoring that. -
I'm confused and I suppose it all boils down to not paying enough attention, but does anyone have answers? 1.) What purpose did the cryptobanker serve? It seemed like he was just an evil middleman between people with a lot of bitcoins and a banker that would do the actual laundering. And do you really need someone to launder bitcoin? 2.) What was Lizzie's genius master plan that required Red being in prison? Did they ever say? Or did she just turn him in because she was mad and there wasn't a plan?

The thing is they didn't need to segregate the dog for a few days while rehoming her. The quick and easy solution was to give it back to Vanderpump Dogs. If it was off hours just drop her at LVP's house. -

Not only all of this, but isn't being sneaky a cornerstone of being manipulative? If Blizzard said, as Teddi said, that LVP was involved, that doesn't seem very sneaky to me. And on top of it all, we've seen the text where Teddi is the one that did the major plotting ("bring the dog out and I'll recognize it."). -
I've heard it called a front butt before and front tushy is kind of like that but less vulgar.
