  1. Iirc, they have been starting the kick line and splits on the second "night" of TC?..at least in the cmt show world. I think the second episode had Christina telling Melissa about her injury in the vet and rookie session at an outside studio...but my memory has failed me before. It makes sense to see how they do as early as possible bc if they need to train, strengthen, or work on their kick technique, sooner is better than later
  2. I wish they had taped a new one earlier too. Every year might be hard, but at least every two to three so that most of the vets have a chance to be featured. It's so sad to me that vets like Brittney S. Nicole, and Sydney, Mia, Jackie Bob, Mackenzie...and others.... missed being featured. But at least Cassie was up there for over a decade. Smh.
  3. Unless there was something wrong with her pink outfit...? Hoping it's not another LaGrande situation for a TCC. That would not be a good start. Ant thoughts about Group Leaders ?
  4. I know I'm in the very tiny minority (maybe alone) but I haven't been as disappointed with this show as others. I haven't seen the French original and I will check that out this summer. Normally I am a very loud complainer when there are plot gaps and inconsistencies, but I guess I'm so caught up in wanting to know why this is happening I'm willing to be more open minded. Some characters make no sense and are poorly acted but I am actually wanting to see what happens in a season 2. And is Victor the key? Will the next town he enters go through the same thing?
  5. It took two viewings, but I see the mistakes -- around :49 right? I just couldn't tell on my small phone screen who the blonde in the upper right was. She covered and recovered well, though. ...ok...on the computer, it is Ashley. She is a good faker though! I still feel badly she was cut. I loved her spirit.
  6. https://www.facebook.com/DallasCowboysCheerleaders/photos/a.413047096034.200984.181648811034/10152751113651035/?type=1&theater I'm not sure how to upload a photo to a post, but while going through some of the photos on the DCC Facebook page, this one of Ashley N popped out at me. She looks positively skeletal -- even her neck looks bad! I hope they are watching her health and nutrition the way they did Kelsey in her rookie year -- she's a beautiful dancer and person; I hope she doesn't make herself sick!
  7. I only "discovered" this show at the start of season 6...but as I quickly became addicted, I purchased the previous seasons on my Amazon Prime stream. SO frustrating - the overwhelming number of episodes is cut down to 20 minutes; so many practices have been removed. Even in season 6, it's clear there is supposed to be a practice after the commercial break, but then it jumps to the end of the evening evaluation. But worse than that is the music they use. So disappointing.
  8. Wasn't the year they went up to 39 a year with several vets injured at the offset ? Could that have been a factor with going so high ? It was Chelsea's year to join I think ... And Cassie and Nicole had early season injuries maybe? Getting old sucks. I miss my memory.
  9. The photo posted above of Kinzie is an example of my frustration with the show. I realize they focus on the girls who are struggling or who may be cut because that is better TV, but aside from one remark by Kelly, she was not mentioned at all in her rookie season. When I was convalescing recently I watched some of the previous seasons and realized there was a girl I never knew existed from season 6, Alexandra Caroline (I think). Samantha and Ashley N were given very little play in their seasons..... Instead of all of the extra stuff they have thrown in (like boutique fashion shows), I'd love them to do little segments on the rookies who lurk in the shadows. ...but that photo also highlights the reason for my girlcrush -- Kinzie is such an elegant dancer. I wish I had that coordination (or those looks!) 30 years ago :-) And Bigskygirl, please don't yell at me, but I just need to make one more comment related to last season... They needed to make Melissa's solo the last of the day -- after last year, anyone who had to go next must have been ready to just drop the microphone (or poms) and walk out.... but I just had a chance to rewatch the episode on a larger screen and you can see Megan (the petite girl who got cut last year :-( ) in the front row watching her. When Melissa touched her foot to her head, Megan is just in a state of shock shaking her head as if to say, "Oh hell no." (But then gave Melissa a huge shout out of support when she was applauding her). I had actually hoped Megan could drop a few pounds ala Vivian and come back. I liked her spirit :-)
  10. Does anyone know?: When Kelly calls the names to invite the women into TC, are they in the order in which they scored (highest to lowest)? If so, based on the photo gallery link posted by bigskygirl (the 200+), Kinzie, Erica, and Lacey were among the last in? That just doesn't make sense to me.
  11. Kelli has often said that she feels that "character over cosmetics" or dance counted to her -- that a girl who may have been a little weaker as a dancer may be a positive influence for the team. I always assumed [since I don't know any of these young women personally] that Jasmine was one of those people. She has seemed like the type of person who worked hard, didn't complain, and was a good little soldier. Danielle clearly has a strong fan base and the organization likes her as a representative (even if she is also a weaker dancer in comparison to most of her teammates) as they feature her as one of their glamour girls -- but she does NOT have a good poker face: She will not put on a fake smile for the TCC photo; the season in which Chelsea was cut, you could see her simmering when called into the office for her weight (her eye brows did ALL the talking) and I'm pretty sure CMT cut away just as she was saying, "What the f***"?" when Chelsea was called in on her final night. She is "real" -- a true New Yorker who isn't going to hold back ...and they obviously don't penalize her for it because she is still here. Jasmine always seemed like more reserved and quiet when she met with criticism of problems and she had a good sense of humor. What I find so surprising is that with the squad losing SO MANY of their strong front girls/ cover girls and dancers, they let go of a 4 year vet. I know they do have many super strong rookies (Melissa, Erica, Mary, Lacey) but I would expect that Jasmine would be a good mentor for the rookies -- maybe not as a dancer, but as a representative of the organization. Best of luck to her; she just seems like a very sweet and genuine person. Are most of Danielle's closer friends gone now? I think many of them retired already -- Jasmine's departure must be a huge blow to her. On more positive notes, just saw the photos released on the DCC website. I have always had a girlcrush on Kinzie -- but the video snippit of her solo and the perfection of her lines/extensions in those photos is unbelievable. I wished they showed more of Melissa's on the video -- but then they posted a still of her "in flight". Holy crap. That girl is just unreal. Erica's photos looked amazing too. Biggest surprise was Calia - she has grown up. One still of her is absolutely gorgeous. I'm glad that one of the girls that Kelli and Judy felt were a little more immature or undeveloped dug deep and found herself. I am counting the days until summer vacation as the classroom gets hotter and hotter -- but I can't wait until September to see the new season!
  12. One of the many things that burns me is Brandi constantly calling Kyle a hypocrite bc she smoke(s/d) pot and herself a victim bc the others bash her about her drunken antics. The difference you skanky shrew is that you advertise your whorish and alcohol laden behaviors on tv for your KIDS TO SEE. If Kyle indulges it is not on screen. That is why brandis motherhood is questioned. Idiot.
  13. Thank you for the recap of the dialogue! I think in a first-hear (and no read!) I separated our group from the threat because he specified humans. But, yes; the power dynamic will be VERY interesting to see. I think I was hoping for something more aside from that. :-)
  14. I was intrigued by Gimples letter. If humans won't be the biggest. threat in the new season, does this mean the wolves aren't a big threat? Is he not viewing them as human? Mutant zombies? Another virus? Aliens?
  15. The Febreeze and NR fan were the highlights. Lol. Didn't realize there was one ! Thank you!!
  16. I'm not sure if I am allowed to mention TTD here so if I break a forum rule please forgive me. But I was very intrigued by the letter Chris read at the end that indicated that humans will not be the biggest threat next season. Does that mean the Wolves are not that big of a threat? Or are the wolves not viewed as fully human? Or is a mutant zombie coming? Something worse? I'm not making it to next season.
  17. Thank you for posting! That wads hilarious...too many awesome moments to pick a favorite!
  18. The apple trees are in the field with the rabbits; just follow the rainbow to the end where you will see a pot of gold and a unicorn
  19. Evie... My thoughts exactly. The superb job that actor did watching Noah die so horribly I would expect to be "rewarded" with an even bigger send off. Or an absolute shock/ no one saw it coming like Samuel Jackson in Deep Blue Sea.
  20. My read on Father Useless and the gate is that he really did not give a shit. When Rick locked the gate, he needed to shut two doors and secure a locking bar. FPP just gave it a careless push. And that really ticks me off because his current despondent state is allegedly over the fact he let his congregation die. Spencer just told him he wanted to come see him; he is building a new congregation, he has a chance to do it right, and what does he do? He deliberately elects to ignore a safeguard that can kill an entire new group. As for Glen, I think that like Rick, he escaped a bite. After Noah's intense send off, I would expect something much more dramatic for such a lead character...unless he was just shockingly shot in the heart by Nicholas as I thought he was. Scared the dog when I actually screamed at the tv on that one. The unseen bite is too reminiscent of Bob; been there, done that. But if he doesn't explain to Deanna what went down with that chickenshit Nick at the warehouse, I'm gonna scream.
  21. Okay. Undoubtedly when the ZA comes for us, I'm a goner. I wouldn't last one hour… And no disrespect to my boy Daryl but even I could tell the food trucks were a trap. The hanging cans just seemed off to me. I do need to go back and watch it again though… Did all the doors open at the same time? Were they programmed that way? How did that Horde appear so quickly?
  22. I may actually have a heart attach before this night is out.
  23. "Mullet powers activate ". Can't stop giggling.
  24. ...and what really burns me up about FPP is that he went to the school to see if what happened to Bob Was true and SAW THE LEG!!!! He sees how much they care and support each other and yet he calls them evil? no death for him can be horrific enough.
  25. I'm not sure how Nicholas can spin it completely in his direction. They could have LEFT HIM THERE. He planned on doing just that to Glenn and Noah....and threatened Eugene. I am hoping that with Tobins appraisal of Abe that Deanna will see past the BS....especially since she lost her son. But with two episodes to go, I'm not optimistic.
