  1. ...but how does she make it to Hollywood? Stanley is a grifter...he has no connections. And if he makes it out of juniper alive and intact, I'm boycotting the show. Such a poignant episode. Incredible acting from all except Roberts. I didn't see Coven so I wasn't on the anti Emma bandwagon. But she plays drunk, sober, happy, and sad with the same exact affect.
  2. I know I am wrong but I actually had to rewind the death scene again. On my tiny tv on first viewing it looked like Beth was grabbing dawns gun to shoot herself. I thought she sacrificed herself to free Noah and bring down Dawn knowing it would provoke Team Grimes. But really....she thought stitching scissors would be lethal?
  3. BrokenRemote: I am not trying to discredit any other character. I just finished watching the scenes from last season at the funeral home and this was my take from it. Btw. Can anyone transcribe what CopBob was saying to Rick? I could not make out his words that entire time :-(
  4. Ok here is a ZA I need to know how this happens question. Just watched them shoveling a grave in the scenes to come. Where do these shovels come from? They are unable to carry a change of clothes, but they always seem to have a shovel when the need arises. How? Are these shovels that break down into tiny parts and you assemble them? Inquiring minds need to know.
  5. I am so heartbroken for Daryl more than anyone else. Beth was the one person he believed to represent goodness in this wdorld; she gave him faith to believe in the good in people. The fall out will not be good. And the in memoriam the Talking Dead gave for her left me sobbing.
  6. I liked last week's episode expecting it to be the calm before the storm. Fleshing out (ewww... No pun intendd) some of the important characters is relevant and interesting. But you can't have several weeks of low voltage just to amp up the mid season finale. And hasn't Fr Idiot just given walkers an ingress to the carefully boarded church? Ii get he is horrified that God's home has been desecrated, but what do you think a walker in there will do for its sanctity ?
  7. I stil think that Eugene is the love child of a bloated Elvis and Johnny Cash...but now I also think he is the dumber, more manipulative twin brother of John Nash from a beautiful mind.
  8. I love that idea, Julia. I'm in; how much to make this happen Project Runway? There can be a challenge to be silent throughout the whole process; one for no tears; one for no anger management issues.... no one would be left. OH, and PR? Please just stop trying to make Kate happen. PLEASE.
  9. I love Dimitri, but add me to the list of those who don't want winners back for a runners up show. If you want them to come back for or AS a challenge, ala Top Chef, that could be interesting....or a show of all winners as the all stars. But I hate what they are doing. And Micelle AND Helen? Blah. What could be fun is an all stars of all the cray crays if the producers are gunning for drama. Wendy, Irina, Micelle, Helen, and the angry men of recent seasons. <br /> I am probably in the minority to be happy to see Alexandra and see if her aesthetic has grown any.
  10. Since everyone is infected, I wondered if the cannibals became addicted to the meat like the walkers do....that they couldn't stop even if they wanted to. Loved to hate Gareth...loved more that they knew just how long to keep him. When the scene opened up, I groaned thinking we would have another Governor-esque season of LONG self righteous speeches. Eugene looks terrified...and not of the walkers. When he said he didn't want to leave and then said ok to Abe, I was thinking he knows he is going to be fed piece by piece to walkers when he doesn't deliver. And I cannot look at him. He looks like the love child of Johnny Cash and Elvis. And not in a good way.. Loved the episode. They so had me when the Termites entered the church. I just hoped that Daryl and Carol would make a well timed entrance. I cheered so loudly I scared my dogs. Can someone explain the MASH reference to me?
  11. Question on timelines because my memory is not what it used to be. Did the finalists always only have 5 weeks to created a collection..... And did they always only have 1 day to do the preliminary fashion show / get feedback? Sorry backgroundnoise....just saw your post.
  12. I wish jimmy would have gone to the police quietly / pulled one aside and explained he found the badge in Strong Mans trailer rather than the badly executed planting of the badge. With the incident in Chicago, that would have been believable. Ugh. Shame on you AHS for making me feel badly for the death of an animal killing but pitiful Meep.
  13. There was a recent episode of one of the murder magazine shows on the ID channel that focused on the real lobster boy. He grew up to be abusive...and I think his wife killed him if I am not mistaken.
  14. I am not afraid of clowns, but Twisty in broad daylight? Just, no. Can't unsee it. But I thought the scene with the picnic was reminiscent of the original Frankenstein film. The scary looking creature offers the little girl flowers. Underneath, frankensteins creature isn't bad. So I thought that was where this would go,..and then I realized it is AHS. So, there is no good underneath.
  15. Add me to the list of criers when the announce the team. But, DANG it is such a journey for them. With the exception of Vivian you can see truly how much their heart is in this by the genuine tears. I don't think it was fake so I realize this is going to sound a little like an insult, but Lauren is lucky she showed emotion of the night kelli spoke to her alone. I think she is one of those who tries to appear strong and tough but I think kelli wants humans not robots and she wants women who value the organization for the "right" reasons. I think it was Paige ?? last year who kept that pageant smile locked on her face and it was interpreted as being aloof. To cast my votes on this unofficial poll going on here, I think of the blonde bombshells on the squad, Kinzie is just beautiful but I also like Samantha, rookie Melissa and Britney S. Nicole and Jennifer A are gorgeous as well... but every woman on that team is pretty. That's why they have the reputation they have. I've often wondered too if CMT is not allowed to show more of the dances. It makes sense, but I still would like to see itMalone with the real coaching that goes on... For example by Shelly.
  16. I think this lackluster season has less to do with a lack of talent than the work parameters they have. They are all exhausted and that has an impact on creativity. Aside from Kini who sews like the wind, I think many of them have great ideas but can't execute them in one day...so they go safe or they have a mess. I think this is true of early aufed Angela ...was that her name? Ironically I think they would get more drama and interesting episodes if they gave them more time to work together. Everyone is so focused they don't interact as much. I miss Santinos impersinations. This season has been so boring. ....Ketzel, I just spit out my coffee. Actually, I would love to see the designer judges go up against these guys in a one day challenge. Take that Zac!
  17. I saw Lacey in show group too. Quite a few rookies from a small group of them. That may explain why kelly keeps referring to this being a talented group. I wonder if what we heard about Ashkey was reported to directors by other girls and that is what they repeated. She is a beautiful girl and I bet that intimidated some of her fellow dancers. And if she is quieter and more reserved, it can come off as standoffish. Poor thing. What a thing to hear in the middle of rehearsal. Good for Emma!
  18. I just noticed this episode when Alexander packed up his sketch book....they never gave them those HP sketchbooks, did they? Another lost sponsor?
  19. I really wished they showed show group auditions as well....and that they would indicate who made it rather than having to freeze frame to see who is there! I liked that Kelly brought Emma in to see her opinion on Ashley -- but I am still surprised that Ashley made it. In all honesty, Caila, Ashley, & Breelan could have easily been cut -- but I don't know who else to round out to that 32 number she was citing. Regardless of my opinion, it is clear those girls work their hearts out and I wish them a wonderful season.
  20. I am not necessarily a fan of Amanda's but I like her. I think most of what comes across as smug from her is actually sarcasm and that she probably is far more self deprecating when the cameras aren't on . She is the one to stop the bitch fest back stage even though Char was less than nice a few weeks ago. She is NOT good under pressure....I would like to have seen more of what she can do without the one day time restraints in order to actually see if there is something there. Actually, that would be true of everyone. But I think this may be it for me and PR. lackluster season and uneven challenges. I may give the kids version a try though.... Unless it turns into too much whining.
  21. Omg...I would have loved to see what Sandhya would have sent down. And when her model explained she didn't like it, S would have said, I'm sorry but I don't agree. It is beautiful and you do like it.
  22. "What should have happened is Tim should have had the contestants all stop, pulled them from their models and sit them in the break room while Tim went to the judges and without telling them which contestant, what the deal was and whether extra time should allowed. If and only if the judges said yes, then the rest of the contestants should have had the same amount of time to address issues with their models/designs. In what fucking land of fairy dust and farts made of cotton candy is it fair for someone to get more time than the others? Period. It does not matter why. If Char got the time to sew her new zipper in the rest should have been allowed to have that time to their advantage in the sew room as well." This. x1000. Char -- along with several others -- had fit issues on her garment. It. was. tight. Yes, an untrained "model" may have pulled too hard on that particular kind of zipper, but I don't think she would have had the disaster that ensued if there was room in her tap dance uniform (which is exactly what it looked like). If she gets 10 minutes, then everyone should. Period. and then there would not have been the same bitterness. The judges needed to know something was wrong (as if no one actually told them anyway...but I'll go along with the game here) and probably should have been told whose outfit -- ONLY because if it were a real runway, I hope she would have been made to send her model down with a broken zipper. My fear would have been that the judges said sent it down, but cover her up - and then in the examination, they would have shown the broken zipper and that woman's naked hip. That would have been horrifying for that woman.
  23. Chandler in her resting face is beautiful and youthful. At the opening of the episode, she is shown stretching and she is very fresh faced. The transformation when she does a big smile is so odd. But I really like her and clearly so do the other girls who chanted for her to please come back out in the parking lot. love love love the scene with Britney coaching her. Re watching the last episode, when they were inside on night 2, Vivian was all kinds of wrong on the dance as were Ashley and Brelan. I also realized that those 3 must have been told to dance again together without the others bc everyone else disappeared just as Kelly and Judy lit into them. Aside from everything else in Vivian's final moments, what annoyed me most were her words, I will be bigger than ever before. Why now? It's week 6/7. Shouldn't you have shown your power and projection LONG before the last week?
  24. ...I'm betting Alexander still wins the fan vote next week. Because it would make as much sense as anything else this season. And I agree with Tim allowing Char to have the time bc it was not a professional model, but that should have been on him only (instead of a lame vote that no one -- not even the most evil of contestants-- would have said no to) and it should have been disclosed to the judges before the designers even came out. You cannot have Zach. Remarking on tape or other flaws and then defend a broken zipper. In real life of course you would have the extra time, but this is the last stages of a competition. Just not fair. And I give Alexander credit for not saying anything on the runway or even in the stew room. Tim showed his bias here a little I think. For someone else, he may have handed the model a towel to cover herself up.
  25. Oh, I don't think Vivian would have necessarily made it. I just am not sure based on how Kelly and Judy started that meeting that they would have dismissed her that night. I think Breelan was closer to the chopping block; Vivian just did her a favor by not being able to hide her crazy. When Kelly talked to Vivian about the pressure, it didn't seem as prepared or as straight forward a tone as when she is giving her, tonight is your last night speech. Kelly seemed more on the fly. Just my opinion.
