  1. And you all have every right to that. I don't actually know (as in actually know, with real names and stuff) anyone that has a problem with Chris Pratt, but looking at the internet he's apparently "the worst". I was talking about the click bait online meme culture, not people in my personal circle. My badly expressed point was that there are much more questionable people out there, but for some reason it has become cool to hate Chris Pratt and I really don't understand that.
  2. Tom Cruise has said and done way more questionable things, and IMO actually harmful to the public things, that Chris Pratt has ever been accused of and I don't see the same level of hate for him. Where are the "worst Tom" memes (Tom Hanks is an angel, it's right there!!) and the snide remarks? He, demonstrably, has terrible beliefs and makes no bones about it, but he doesn't seem to "just rub people the wrong way" which seems to be CP's real crime. And I will NEVER be here for dragging a person for their siblings' behavior/beliefs. For any reason.
  3. they could have just said "we didn't want to be boxed in by what has happened/will happen on other shows so we decided we are just a different Earth".
  4. if Willow's coniveneitis is progressing rapidly, then it might be something where, in order for her to continue a pregnancy, the mysterious donation needs to occur as soon as possible, meaning that they don't have time to go through a lengthy and iffy donor list situation. And even then, I don't know if Carly would be willing to spill easily. She and Alexis didn't fess up about Kristina very quickly when she was sick as a toddler, it got pretty dire before Carly cracked. (I think it was her? I don't remember which one of them caved) Also, I hope that an abortion is medically necessary, for plot and timely purposes, but I don't want the "oh, you had an abortion, so now you are infertile" bullshit story like with Lulu and on DAYS with Mimi. Also also, if Willow is in a coma, and Nina is found out to be her mother... she might be next of kin because Willow and Michael are divorced and Willow doesn't have any other relatives. If she doesn't have a medical POA or designated representative, it could be a thing. Another judge might find that Willow being kidnapped isn't the same thing as severed parental rights (or whatever the hell). Note that I'm not saying that's what the custody judge really thought (and frankly that judge made the right decision because that case was stupid. I don't agree with Willow and Michael, but they are the kids parents and going around them would have never really worked out for either Nina or Wiley.)
  5. TJ does need to work on a more neutral tone.
  6. what if Willow KNEW she was pregnant and has been in denial and that's why she's been refusing to go to the doctor? Look, I'm trying to stretch this into something even a tiny bit interesting. That would be interesting considering how she reacted when she found out Willow had put her baby up for adoption. Also, Carly was in nursing school until she flunked out, then she went on to do physical therapy as a way to keep working in the hospital.
  7. Carly as the new manager of Kelly's, but only because of nepotism. LOL.
  8. I'm totally on Ned's side in this. I mean, just for Leo, being rich is gonna be super helpful. Yeah, autistic kids do ok even in upper middle class families (and if ELQ tanks, that's about where I figure that family will end up with the hotel and all) but mo money means mo special education specific schools, more adaptations for learning, more classes/teachers/social opportunities specifically set up to help Leo, better medical care, more options with doctors and autism specialists that he has a good rapport with... all that adds up, and ELQ doing better under Val means that Leo's future is more secure. Screw Michael and Drew.
  9. Yeah, I cannot lie on the spot to save my life, but if I can think it through first... I got away with a lot as a teen because my mom though "oh, she's a terrible liar".
  10. well, in the clip Olivia isn't yelling exactly, and it is a decent question. Is the business worth alienating his family over? the answer, according to Q tradition, is obviously yes.
  11. OMG, if Val is behind the buyer of the hotel AND buys up Aurora stock so he owns it or ELQ does... that would make my heart melt. Though I don't know if buying Aurora would be ethical considering their part in the failed merger, but still.
  12. If I'm understanding right, Carly sold the hotel interest with an agreement for a 30 day buyback, probably with a profit to the buyer. So, she never intended to actually sell, it's just some convoluted loan in her mind. Liv wouldn't have gone for that. Carly lost her damn mind doing this.
  13. It would be funnier if it was Valentine who bought it. Just think of his face after screwing that harpy coming and going. lol.
  14. DAYS did a marital rape story that has been referenced again and again and never softened or glossed over. The victim and the rapist have had conversations about it as recently as a few years ago when Jack was getting his memories back and (I think) read about it and didn't understand how Kayla could even stand to be in the same room as him. GH used to have those kinds of stories that had real consequences, but now everything is just papered over in a couple of months and nobody even thinks about it. It's frustrating.
  15. I think the idea is that Rolling Stone might (and I stress might) be exaggerating a story in order to get clicks out of the Ezra Miller situation. Not that any specific part of the story seems inaccurate, we wouldn't be in a position to judge, but that they have a bad history of being disingenuous or dishonest for money.
  16. My hopeful spec is that Carly has to crawl to Nina to get money to get the hotel back. I think that would be even more awesome than Nina being the buyer. Mostly because I don't want to see Nina as the bad guy in this.
  17. I think they had Chase go to the punch again because Michael and the reporter made Michael look bad. They don't understand that he ALWAYS looks bad, and we will ALWAYS like Chase more.
  18. Hey, I will never not believe that Avery is Morgan's, but that doesn't get her out of that gene pool, so I will take Ava and Robert drunk in the back of a luxury car.
  19. See, you wrote that without being hateful and snide, because you are not an asshole.
  20. does EM live at that house in Vermont? I have questions about this story. I'm perfectly willing to believe that the dude is up to something shady, but I wanna know the actual situation. Also, if there are loose bullets around the house, that one is on whoever cleans it. And of course the dad denies being abusive. Who comes to the press and says "Oh, yeah, I beat the crap out of her a toss the kids into walls, but she LEFT!!!" ETA: I'm not saying the guy is abusive, I'm saying that he is obviously going to deny it either way.
  21. Whoever wrote that article seems like an asshole. From the snideness in tone. I assume it's an opinion piece and not someone doing any kind of reporting, because damn. Like, I have no issue if the person doesn't like Brad Pitt, or the author of the GQ article, but ...
  22. There have been points in Carly's tenure that she's been tolerable, and those points were when she was uninvolved with Sonny and not sticking her nose in other people's business. These were very short periods of time.
  23. I do not see what you see, but I am perfectly willing to stare at those pictures long and hard to look for it. :)
