  1. True, Charlotte usually only gets a passing mention if the heroine is being presented, and generally the prelude to that and the gown itself are way more prevalent. And Prinny gets mentioned a lot, usually very unflatteringly. Or makes a guest appearance to be a total waste of time and air who is unreasonable and might prove to be an obstacle for the main couple somehow, without noticing or caring.
  2. Lets be real, the queen picked Daphne to praise on a whim. Or based it more on her poise and calm in the moment than her looks alone.
  3. Yeah, I imagine that Anna is the one getting the stipend for that family and Josh is not in control of any of the decisions.
  4. See, it looked to me like one of his brothers tripped over him chasing after Joe and the others. He should have checked that everything was ok though, and appologized if he was the one who caused the accident. Joe didn't look competitive or anything like that to me. He was hanging back a bit and helping the kids search for the clues, he wasn't front of the pack trying to find them or anything. I also don't know that he's in a position to really help if one of the little Caldwells are upset or anything. He's not mommy or someone I imagine they spend a lot of time being cuddled and coddled by, so once he was up the stairs (which he was on by the time the kid started crying) there would be no purpose in going back, even if he was the one to trip on him.
  5. OMG yes. My niece Abby is an ANGEL most of the time, but the first few months after her sister Grace was born she was ..... not transitioning well. She was only 17 months old and did not understand at ALL why this tiny screaming thing was taking mommy's attention away.
  6. As long as you know what a punch is, you can do it. She did hurt herself, so I assume she did it badly.
  7. Yeah, that was what wet nurses were for. It's hard to stay out until 2 and sleep until noon when you have to do feedings every three hours.
  8. That mashable list is indeed hysterical. I like Anthony's a lot Pros: deeply angry in a way that will prove beneficial during sex Cons: cares about a woman’s honor unless he’s sleeping with her
  9. No, you are not.
  10. It occurs to me that Jason treats the women in his life the same way he accused the Quartermaine family of treating him back in the day.
  11. Oh I don't know how to feel about knowing that. on one hand, not crazy and my memory is good. on the other... I remember social media posts by Jana Duggar way to well.
  12. I swear to god that's a repost of an earlier birthday post from Jana.
  13. If Julian is supposed to be "written out" of Leo's life, according to Sam, then she won't be seeing him, since her only connection to him is through this unknown and unremembered father. Bitch.
  14. Simon also looked sad and a little disappointed when he realized that Daphne wasn't pregnant. After that, it was basically over except for the HEA moment.
  15. Yes, Eloise bemoans the limitations of her status (not unreasonably), but has no qualms at all about exploiting it's advantages. I don't know that she realizes fully how hand in glove those things really are. Not that it's right in any way, but it is what it is and it was what it was. Being a woman in just about all societies sucks ass.
  16. Bobbie needs to be fridged. There is no value left in the character. I don't care that JZ is a vet, she just needs to go.
  17. Except we really don't know what exactly Penelope's motivation was, we can only speculate based on what we observe, and obviously Penelope is good at concealing things. And frankly I only side with Colin in this. His interests are at least clear.
  18. Heh. I know it's not what you mean, but I find the idea that she's done raising her kids when the youngest is 11 funny. It reminded me of that one scene in Look Who's Talking with Kirstie Allie and George Segal. "I've raised my children" "Your daughter is 6"
  19. Marina was pragmatic, but wrong. Lady F was pragmatic, but wrong. Pen was idiotic and wrong.
  20. or they could be setting her up for a fall, and some redemption before her HEA (if she even gets one).
  21. I was responding to the idea that he didn't have to tell her about the exact nature of the "no kids", be it disease, impotence, injury or vow, until after they got married. That's all.
  22. Having a panic attack at just the idea that he was going to propose did not bode well for a match with the Prince.
  23. it is not ok to use someone for money and power, lie to them, pass off a child that isn't theirs, as long as they don't find out. Let me steal from a little old lady who trusts me, as long as she doesn't find out, and see if that argument holds. I don't defend Penelope, but that idea is not morally justifiable on any level.
  24. I mean, informed consent is important, especially with a permanent commitment. He knew she didn't understand and made a concerted effort to deceive her. Also, IF he had had some kind of disease... he most DEFINITIVELY should have told her before marrying her. That's deal breaker territory way beyond "no kids".
  25. Lady F. didn't see any hope of George doing the right thing, so I don't think she felt that there would be any purpose in contacting his family. They would be more likely to slut shame and deny Marina than anything else, historically speaking.
