June 23, 2024 Louis and Claudia are put on trial.

Toby Noe visited and played a mean "Rock of Ages" on the organ. In a few church social scenes there was a whole band, including Charles.

I could never get through it.

I came back here because I saw you commented, but I'm looking at the posts and I have just a very vague recollection of any of the characters or what happened.

Even less reason to get AMC+.

After last week's episode, which was my favorite of the season and maybe the show, this was a slog. Hopefully the finale they're setting up for will be worth it. Agree. I'm a huge fan of this show, but the fact is Claudia looks like a young woman, not a pre-pubescent girl, and it makes a lot of the plot ring untrue.

His voice is really strange. I don't know if it's on purpose or that's just his voice.

Was not expecting Will Ferrell on The Boys. Also, I now understand why Noir can talk. And isn't dead.

Yeah, after the play they went home. If I'm not mistaken Laura saw her parents in town and booked it home to clean up.

At this point I can watch Bless All the Dear Children because it's so comically over the top. I can have Look Back to Yesterday on and watch with one eye. If I think about it, nothing really happens other than Albert dying. 2 hours of weeping and inspiration. For whatever reason I can't stomach The Last Farewell. If it comes on, I'll put something else on. It's pretty much the same plot as The Empire Builders without the last minute save.

Yes, the book is Daniel interviewing Louis one time, and Daniel is described as "the boy" IIRC. This second interview with Daniel as an older man is from the series only. Armand is also only present in Louis' recollection of his time in Paris.

Also, I think the actress is killing it. She does sad really well.

I doubt it. I think that would really hurt the story, even though it's changed a lot from the novel. In pure speculation, I think it's someone Daniel killed in the past.

May 26th, 2024 Armand tells the history of the Theatre des Vampires; Louis tells of his reluctance to join.

Alright the picture was freakin' funny.

Of course I didn't get to try any of the food, but based on appearance and judge reactions, the right person won.

I thought Bogosian was playing Daniel way too smug and sarcastic. It was nice to see him get easily humbled by Louis.
