  1. Yeah, the season started off focused and kind of lost it. Only 4 episodes left and they're introducing new characters and plots. We know someone's going to betray someone's trust, but we don't know who yet. Wilford? Melanie? Oz?
  2. Definitely Ziggy for me, followed closely by Hunky Dory. Speaking of runs of classic albums, Bowie has had more than one.
  3. Yes on all accounts. It's ok. The bell ringing when Miss Gulch rides in is a memorable part. I've never done it, but apparently synching Willie Wonka and Rush's 2112 has a similar effect.
  4. Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals & The Wall is a run of albums that is hard to top.
  5. Sorry all, I got fooled by the title of the article. It is not the new AHS season, it is it's own thing. Produced by Ryan Murphy and featuring Travis Kelce. So I can definitely skip it!
  6. Just saw this today: https://www.avclub.com/grotesquerie-teaser I really don't know if I can stomach another season, let alone one with Travis Kelce. ETA: Not a new AHS season.
  7. I think it said Wilford, Joseph, but maybe I'm wrong.
  8. Lol. All of our thespians have their moments. Mary's America speech in "Centennial" stands out as some prime overacting.
  9. I fully agree. Any time I hear the phrase "true fan" I cringe. That, and any post that starts with "Am I the only one..."
  10. I would be unlikely to attend an event like this unless it was close to where I live. I've gone to a few conventions, mostly sci-fi, and they can be a bit hectic. One time Gil Gerard was at one. His table was next to Erin Gray's and I noticed they did not speak or look at each other. On another note, I've been reading the LHotP subreddit. There are a lot of posts and an active community there. In true reddit tradition, there's some good stuff and there's some not good stuff.
  11. Probably my favorite album of all time, other than the first Sabbath album. Depends on my mood.
  12. I'm surprised to say I'm enjoying this season, certainly more than the last. Since it's TNT/AMC it's pretty obvious that this has a happy ending. The only question is who dies before we get there. Agree about Layton. Great idea to just take off with an entire town's source of life with no real plan whatsoever. Of course, this being TV, it'll work.
  13. Speaking of science... https://www.yahoo.com/news/scientist-defends-audacious-plan-block-145248275.html Nothing could go wrong here, right? Right?
  14. Is this animated or live action?
  15. This one was way better than the first one.
  16. The song reminded me of T-Rex.
  17. Nothing? Ok, I'll start. I liked it, but after not thinking about it for almost 2-1/2 years, I barely remember what was going on and who some of the characters are.
  18. That's something I would look forward to skipping.
  19. Interesting that they show Charles as having only 1 brother, but it looks like there were 9 Ingalls children!
  20. Reading the book as a child, I pictured Charles looking more like Victor French and Edwards looking more like Michael Landon.
  21. June 30, 2024 Season Finale Molloy questions the fallout of Louis and Claudia's trial.
  22. Ha! I was thinking the same thing. I know she's the smartest person in the world, but what exactly was the thought process there?
  23. June 23, 2024 Louis and Claudia are put on trial.
  24. Toby Noe visited and played a mean "Rock of Ages" on the organ. In a few church social scenes there was a whole band, including Charles.
