  1. Welcome to the Percy Jackson and the Olympians tv show forum! Here are a few ground rules: Book and movie talk should be in the appropriate thread. Events that happened in the books and movies should not be discussed in the episode threads. No spoilers in the episode threads! If it hasn't happened on the show, do not discuss it in the thread. All other site rules remain in effect. If you have any questions, please PM your forum moderator @Superclam
  2. Did the show get it right? The movies not even close? Talk about it here! Spoilers allowed!
  3. The quest deepens as Percy, Annabeth, and Grover are tasked with a favor from a fearsome opponent. Premieres Tuesday, January 9th on Disney+.

  8. He's an executive producer, so he'll still be raking in the cash. It's more like a business publicity move for him.
  9. Hi all, there's a new full forum here: Full Forum. I'll be closing this thread and setting up episode threads this weekend. If you have any ideas for threads you want, please PM me.
  10. More of the same. I watched it with one eye. The only act I liked was Hans, who I find ridiculously terrible, but entertaining. The sand act was good, but it wasn't filmed well. Her head was in the way for a lot of it. Something about the shadow person drumming on Howie's head made me giggle.
  11. I just saw a blurb that Season 2 is premiering on the Roku Channel January 19th.
  12. I'm watching an episode of "The Twilight Zone" and who's on playing an astronaut? None other than Kevin "Doc Baker" Hagen.
  13. Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Terry Crews welcome back Judge Mel B for an all-new twist on "AGT"! The judges face off for the first time ever as they draft dream teams of returning fan-favorite contestants - but in the end, only one judge and one act will come out on top. Premieres Monday, January 1.
  14. I don't agree on the scenery chewing thing, although both actors, especially Lennie James, are capable of much better. Full agree on that ridiculous story arc.
  15. It looks like AGT meets The Voice. I wonder if there will actually be audience voting or that "superfan" nonsense we usually get during the off-season.
  16. Third episode was much better. Less exposition and more story. There were scenes where I wished they turned on a lamp.
  17. In other words, these people don't even try to hide the fact that they're jerks.
  18. I'm afraid she'll be on the next season. I don't dislike her, but I agree that the scripted jabs at Dad were annoying. It only needs to be done once or twice a season; it was was too often in this 4-hour special.
  19. I was surprised we didn't see it some time during the strike. If someone can explain to me why shows and movies are fully produced (and presumably paid for) and then not released, I'm listening.
