  1. I just read a review that absolutely skewered the episode. It was way more entertaining.
  2. OMG, that was just terrible. Bad dialogue, bad acting. Only one double-episode left, but it'll be a struggle to get through that.
  3. There are comments here, but not a lot. I've never met anyone IRL who has seen this, and I live in Queens. I haven't heard anything about a Season 4.
  4. The show is kind of losing its luster for me. This was my least favorite episode so far. I could see from 100 miles that the cousin and the rehab center guy were trouble. How often is Gabi going to yell "we can't give up on them!"? The cat-and-mouse game in the basement is getting tiresome. Something needs to happen. At least there were finally consequences for the dubious police work.
  5. Not me. She was in one episode previously that I recall, and I couldn't care less about this petulant teen. Bad writing, her persona was very uneven.
  6. I almost didn't watch this because I'm not a big Dwight fan, but I thought it was a decent episode, watchibility-wise. The throwback to Negan stuff was cool. That said, with 3 episodes left, it was fairly unnecessary. The whole point was to bring Dwight back for the inevitable war with Troy, which will likely result in Troy dying and maybe Madison too. The big reveal about Troy's daughter won't be that interesting. Anyway, we're almost done here. Unrelated: I'm a structural engineer, and this show is always - "unlikely" - particularly when it comes to roofs.
  7. I like this team way better than the Tampa team, and Chauncey is probably the best designer out of all of them.
  8. When he stated that Madison knew the mother of his child I immediately thought of Alicia, because honestly, who else could it be?
  9. She was injured in the fire at the stadium. I knew as soon as she came back that the oxygen thing would be a plot point, to be used when they needed it.
  10. Yep. It all blew away, which is something that apparently happens. <cough> IIRC, we never actually saw her die, which in this world means she could technically still be alive. Or something. <cough>
  11. Seriously. She growled at one point. Almost laughable. Not at all, but after the Otto arc I stopped watching. I vaguely recall the whole thing. I go on and on, but this show is just awful, especially compared to the vastly superior Daryl Dixon show. Only 4 episodes left, I can't imagine where they're going with this. Are we never seeing Daniel and Luciana again? Do we care?
  12. Richard "Bull" Moll has passed at the age of 80. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/richard-moll-played-bull-bailiff-220235774.html
  13. I was watching an ep the other day ("The Inheritance") and they said the Ingalls farm was 3 miles from the Oleson's store. Of course, this show is not know for its consistency.
  14. That is some real bottom-of-the-barrel scraping there!
  15. Two Part Series Finale! The horde led by Troy surrounds the walls of PADRE. Madison and her people must fight for their survival to save what remains. As the series comes to an end, the fate of PADRE's survivors seems to rest in the hands of an unexpected hero. Airs Sunday, November 19 on AMC and AMC+.
  16. Madison makes a discovery that could lead her to the answers she seeks. Airs Sunday, November 12 on AMC and AMC+.
  17. I thought it was pretty mediocre. I never thought the Ottos were remotely interesting, so seeing the psycho little brother back doesn't make me excited. I'll say it was an improvement over the entire season 7 and the last half of this season. Seeing Strand back is ok. A lot of hard-to-believe or at least unlikely things that I'm not even interested in going into here. I'll ride out the rest of the series, but I won't be sad to see it go. So much weaker than Daryl or even Dead City.
  18. Charles is at his literally preachiest at the end of "Gold Country."
  19. Seriously, the whole thing with the husband's late wife and her mean friends happened in the first episode, which was only about a month ago, but I only have the vaguest recollection. Kim Kardashian is the only person who really stands out, and that says a lot.
  20. Well, this is different. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/man-convicted-murdering-wife-claiming-164759095.html For those of you who don't want to click, the headline is "Man Convicted of Murdering Wife for Refusing to Appear “Zombie House Renovations” Reality TV Show"
  21. I'll definitely watch it if it's 6-8 episodes. I watched the trailer (without sound) and it looks like typical Alien stuff with teenagers. ETA: no, this is a movie. There's also a TV series on Hulu coming out.
  22. I'm more likely to go to shows in places called "theatre" or "hall" versus places called "arena." The fees are ridiculous in those big places and the experience is better in a small venue, IMO. P.S.: Subway is ok, but I liked Blimpies.
