  1. Mid-season finale. Anna senses the dark presence closing in on her, closer than ever. Ms. Preecher reveals pieces of her past and may know the truth about what's happening to Anna and Dex. Airs Wednesday, October 18th.
  2. Definitely the best content this IP has put out in a long time. Better than Dead City IMO. A few clichés of the genre, sure. The acting performances, even from Reedus, were well-above what we've seen from this franchise. ETA: unlike a good chunk of the fandom, I am not that thrilled to see Carol back.
  3. Dwight and Sherry confront the demons of their past to secure a better future for themselves. Airs Sunday, November 5 on AMC and AMC+.
  4. The search for gas leads to an unexpected reunion that Madison uses as an opportunity. Airs Sunday, October 29 on AMC and AMC+.
  5. Strand fights to protect his new life when it’s threatened by the arrival of an old friend. Airs Sunday, October 22 on AMC and AMC+.
  6. They're now calling it The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon — The Book of Carol: Endgame (but not the Avengers one.)
  7. I think I might only watch the Orlando episodes. Episodes for the other teams are just generic rehab/flip shows.
  8. She was ok in the opening scene because she was supposed to be stoic and wooden, which is her wheelhouse. If she had to play a 2x4, she'd win an Oscar. The Ashley/Ashleigh characters were terrible. I don't think Leslie Grossman is much better an actress than Billie Lourde. But of course, the plot is advancing now that they're going to the mid-season finale next week. I hope there's not another 5-6 episodes of Emma Roberts walking around frightened and vomiting blood.
  9. https://deadline.com/2023/10/the-walking-dead-the-ones-who-live-new-trailer-new-york-comic-con-1235571698/ We have a premiere date and a cast! Mild spoilers in the link above.
  10. You and I and probably a lot of other people on this thread are hoping for this. I'd really like it all tied together somehow. I thought World Beyond would do some of that, but other than that scene, it was kind of a dud. Sometimes I feel they're stringing us along.
  11. Well, I live in NYC, so I guess that helps. In the early 90s I was on my college radio station, so we got a lot of tickets and backstage passes, so I met some early "alternative" bands. In the late 90s I worked in a photo shop in midtown Manhattan, and I met a few medium-level celebrities who lived nearby. Other than that, I'm just as dull as everybody else.
  12. With help from Siobhan, a major announcement helps restore Anna's public image. Behind closed doors however, something powerful seems to be taking over. Airs Wednesday, October 11th.
  13. I met her in an elevator after a Curve show! I would write more, but that is pretty much the extent of the story. She was absolutely stunning.
  14. For those who haven't read the books, LIW is always talking about food. Those make me hungry!
  15. I agree. I'm the first to call out his mediocre acting chops, but he brought it in that scene.
  16. Well, it was a little talky in the beginning, but the ending and the background stuff was solid! I guess Daryl's going to die, right? No way he could survive a walker on steroids. They'll have to change the name of the show. Carol's "appearance" was a bit of a letdown. I guess that's it for her for the season. Who's back? Rick? Negan? I can't think of any other baddies who are still alive. The punishment for fighting is death by walker? That seems a bit extreme. They still need to explain how that lifeboat got across the Atlantic with a live person on it.
  17. Now we have "Laura's Baby Dies" followed by a Carter episode, followed by "For the Love of Blanche." Someone telling me it's time to stop watching TV?
  18. It is completely over the top, but I'll watch it. I'll take it over any Nancy, Carters or Shannen Doherty episode. The first part is ok as a TV revenge Western episode. The second half has been discussed here over and over, but I'm still up to make fun of it at any time. If you want to talk over the top, I'm watching Albert kick morFEEN right now.
  19. Lest you think I wasn't telling the truth... Look at those special effects! Star Wars had nothing on Walnut Grove!
  20. This show definitely has more penis than any other show I watch.
