  1. I thought there was something off as well. I wonder why they spent Production $$ on making their breath visible. Was it that important a plot point?
  2. Ahhhhhh! You quoted my whole post! Bad Poster, bad poster! But RCharter, I appreciate the comment. I'll take hottest any day.
  3. Patrick Chan's LP was breathtaking. I now understand why people rave about him. When he is on, he is a true skater. I hope everyone brings their A game to Worlds. I wish MIrai was going to Worlds. Instead we get Polina, who has yet to impress me.
  4. A brief note: Please do not quote an entire post, especially when their post is lengthy. Best to say, "I agree 100% with MostlyC's Post" or "Wow, MostlyC said exactly what I was thinking" or even, "I disagree with MostlyC's post, but I understand MostlyC's point of view." Of course, feel free to quote: "MostlyC is the coolest Mod on PTV" as much as you like. I'm not bashful. ;)
  5. Alie is Mr. Smith....the city of light is the Matrix! Okay, maybe not.
  6. Hey Lovely People, Posters are entitled to their opinions, If their opinions are too grating and/or frustrating, there is the ignore option which can make one's experience (and possibly one's blood pressure) happier.
  7. I now want to watch this series. It looks so hilariously bad and watchable. Also, Mama Smoak (tm Arrow) is in it. I wonder if she drinks Unicorn Blood, because she has aged beautifully. Are we sure it wasn't a 90120 spin-off? Ray Pruit Redeems Himself?
  8. Tommy Tim Taylor. Not Thomas Timothy Taylor? Tommy Tim Taylor? The Smack, I am Gobbed.
  9. Samantha Sanders wins the episode for me: "Don't even talk to me." She and Mrs. Teasley are comedy gold. For the rest of the episode meh. We got another "bimbo" usage, we got more of Brandon/Jim issues. And then the love of Thanksgiving wins out and peace is restored; Steve gets laid, Dylan bonds with his Dad, and Brenda/Brandon/Donna/Kelly/Andrea bond with the homeless guy and we never saw him again. I think the actor who plays Jack must be from a Texas/Oklahoma/Wyoming region. It's not quite a southern accent, but there is definitely a I grew up on a farm "where the wind comes sweeping on the range" tinge to his voice. But watch me be wrong; he was brought up in Switzerland and went to the finest schools. Can't wait to hear you guys read how Shannon got on (or not) with Jennie and Luke.
  10. I think the show left it ambiguous (they got into trouble with Brenda having sex, using the word bimbo instead of slut). But dude, they totally did it. Dylan,is sexually frusterated because he and Brenda weren't having sex (cue Prom/Pregnancy episodes) and Kelly demurring, you think he's going to pass up on a woman coming onto him like a tornado? They were working Shadowcaster, and good. I don't understand the storyline, other than Dylan having sex with a wealthy woman. What lesson were we supposed to learn? I'm still confused by the whole thing. Dylan's trust fund shrank then grew, and by the time he came back for the last few seasons it was definitely back into the 100s of millions. The Brenda/Kelly fights continue to be awesome. Niki/Deisal/Brandon- they passed up the opportunity to explore the complexity about abusive relationships. It was all about Brandon, and not as much about Nikki. This podcast was 1000% better than the episode. Remember folks, people who drink black coffee are terminally cool and cynical and wounded. Add cigarettes and they will magically turn into an emo song and shatter into a thousand pieces until the right person comes along to save them.
  11. The Grammys air February 15th, and LL Cool J is hosting (Sam Hanna in disguise, saving the music industry from some terrible, auto-tuned event).
  12. He wasn't wearing white makeup, black pants or a striped shirt. Ergo: Not a Mime. More interpretive dance. If pushed, I'd say Panto. pompously clears throat and steps off podium
  13. Someone call CBS; I'd watch the hell out of this. Both Baranski and Czuchry are brilliant, especially in these roles
  14. Were the 90s so conservative that you had to say "bimbo" instead of slut? I thought the scene was cut terribly, but watching Shannon/Jenny- I mean Brinda/Kelly- fight is awesome. But I'm still on Kelly's side. And Dylan's (by default). But also, I have a fair amount of antipathy for SD so it was easy to root against her character. While there was definitely short turnaround time from break-up to "let's go on dates with other people," I think we're supposed to have been seeing Dylan and Kelly pining for each other for months. Nonetheless,Brenda is just as guilty of cheating as Dylan, but it is infinitely more tacky to date her best friend. I wonder how it would have been handled if Brenda and David hooked up under Donna's nose. Was the whole planetarium thing supposed to be a rebel with a cause reference? Because Dylan being MB&D to know? /yawn. Poor Rick. Honestly, Brenda/Kelly would be lucky to date someone like him. But I can appreciate that breaking up with someone who is almost exactly like your Dad is perfectly reasonable, especially if you're 16. zzzz....there were other plot lines this episode?
  15. Remember to play nice, you respectful, kind, and considerate Posters.
  16. Rule 1 here at PTV is to play nice. Think of yourself at a nice, formal cocktail party; when someone disagrees with you, they don't throw a drink in your face; they smile, nod, and move on to a different topic of conversation, like bunnies. Or the weather. Let's not argue. Agree to disagree respectfully and move on. Seriously.
  17. This is a general reminder about our first rule on these forums: Be Civil to your fellow posters. This board is house party where you can snark about the show, but not each other. If you disagree with someone, agree to disagree and move on. If you feel you cannot, you can Ignore them in your control panel. If you feel they have violated the site rules, feel free to report them or PM me. Back to the episode; Can someone tell me why Clarke is getting all the credit for the Mount Weather Battle? Bellamy helped pull the trigger, and Monty was their tech guy. Why aren't the guys getting some of the "credit" (aka getting stalked by Bounty Hunters) too?
  18. I suppose that if it is a spoiler (or considered spoiler), it can be discussed and posted here. Unless that's not what you're asking blixie, in which case PM me and we'll figure it out. I'm glad that it looks like Jasper isn't going to die (at least as far as we can tell). I've developed a fondness for him and Monty.
  19. Like that's not going to be awkward!
  20. Definitely the best line of the episode. Of course, now I am wanting a blacklist with Red, Tom, Ressler, Dembe, Navabi and Aram. It'll be like a better Ocean's 11. This makes me happy. Can't wait to see how Red's plan works out. Solomon is great but he's so eeeeeeevil that I'm ready for his character to take a break for awhile. Maybe he's got a Nice Twin?
  21. I became firmly on Kelly's side after this episode. Yes she turns into a boring, holier than thou saint after season 3, but I liked that she was TRYING to think about her friend, whereas Dylan was all "Brendawho?" SD was acting like a brat, so I was okay when Kelly and Dylan got together. Kelly stepped back after Paris and didn't make a play for Dylan until after Brenda left Dylan for cute wisconsin guy. YMMV, of course. Wasn't Brooke, like, 20? I don't think she was in high school- but man, she was a bitch on rollerblade wheels. Awesome podcast guys. Vous etes merveilleux et sarcastique! I will never listen to Brenda's french accent the same way again. Damn, I wish the song was still on this episode. I recall that 90210 made the song a hit- Sophie B Hawkins owes them to keep it in. Did she ever have another hit? Something is weird with the cursor- in trying to write my post it wouldn't let me highlight text to cut/copy/paste. Do I get to blame Brandon for this?
