The stage/scene where they had Diana’s Cabaret performance looked remarkably like the Slipper Room in the LES.

It’s a time honored tradition: Hipsters complain about Hipsters because they would never acknowledge that they are a Hipster in the first place. I had a ex who complained about hipsters who combed his handlebar mustache, put on a hat, rolled his own cigarettes, and lived in W’burg. “Fucking hipsters!” he’d complain while ordering cheap beer because pabst was cool (even though he privately told me it was swill).

I saw an interview on cbs and I did not like how the UCLA coach seemed to wave off any responsibility of the Karolyis. Even if they didn’t know (and I think they knew something. I suspect they know where all the bodies are buried), they didn’t care. Medals > Kids being safe. I’d rather have the USA team win zero medals and come home happy than win golds and be abused and terrorized into performing well.

So they destroyed earth and had to go to another planet? That’s the biggest cop-out ever. As well as the cryosleep. Better they sleep 125 years and earth bounces back, than wind up on a new planet somewhere. But to destroy one planet, dust off your hands and move onto the next? Not Cool. I will miss Monty and Harper. They were the only ones I consistently liked. Will Jordon/Jasper will be some kind of a love interest for Madi next season? They seem to be the only two people under 20 in that world. I’m thankful Murphy is still alive; he’s another character I’ve come to like, partly because he doesn’t drink the Clarke is the Best Kool Aid. And the actor is doing a bang up job. And why oh WHY are they still calling Octavia’s band The 100, when there were clearly a lot more.

S05.E13: When the Saints Go Marching In 2018.08.01

I think It is not okay for a show to end with two brothers committing suicide. This is a teen (ish) show. SUICIDE IS NOT ROMANTIC OR COOL. The CW/Showrunners don't seem to care what message they are sending, I guess. -
There’s also the ick factor of Clark’s “daughter” carrying the memories of Clarke’s lover, because sure as hell Madi now knows the ins and outs (ick) of the sexual relationship Clarke and Lexa had. I wonder if people’s contracts are up and that’s why Kane’s at death’s door. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone else from the first season sheds their mortal coil.

I thought they way they filmed the Charles/Liza scene was definitely hot- and the kiss on the Carousel was tre romantic. Still wanting Josh as the endgame. Surprised that the ex-wife isn’t staying around to make more trouble, or another play for Charles. But I also thought the beard (10 days? Really?) was perhaps a nod to Josh’s scruff, and the anything you can do I can do better. Don’t know if that was the intent, or if the actor really wanted a beard. Love Diana and her cleanse. Ha! Lauren has always been Bisexual. She’s such a great character. Glad Kelsey put the brakes on with whathisname, but damn, I was surprised that he was such a snake.

Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue

What do you bet Christina is the mother of Wiley (Lucas and Brad’s baby)? -
I want Diana and Enzo to have fun storylines and never ever break up. I’m an unabashed Miriam Schor Fan I’m a fan of Josh (the actor has a lovely smile when he’s “in the moment” and not phoning it in), but I have to give props to the Peter Hermann because Charles was pretty great last night. I don’t see Charles/Liza lasting super long because together there would be no conflict; an “age appropriate” match with money and cute kids. Great for real life, boring for tv. Maggie’s golden handcuff moment was terrific; I wonder if they return the art and she has to give back the money. Kelsey’s story line is zzzzzz....

I don't think Quinn lied about her terminating the pregnancy. I think there truly was something wrong with the baby.

That is shocking. And so sad.

Not nearly enough Josh and Liza.

I am so pissed off at the ending that I have no words.* *I am sure I will eventually but right now I'm spitting nails.

He posted the link on twitter along with his comment: "Korea, always ahead of the game."

....so, the actor who plays Deeks isn't coming back? Does anyone know if they killed him off?
-
I wish someone with a LOT of time and money could edit the whole series so one (me) could watch whole season chronologically starting with....whenever the oldest date is, 1491 and through to 2063 or whatever the last date it.

I wonder if the writers/showrunners told the cast that Hannah was going to be Marian from the get go or if they sprung it on the cast when they shot the season.
-
I’m sorely disappointed Octavia is still alive. Good work by the actor who plays Bellamy.

I think the writers might be setting things up so that Bram/Gracie can safely live in the colony while Kate and Will run off to become part of the Resistance without worrying too much about placing their children in the (literal) line of fire.

Have we heard about the Djinn before this season? Do we know if the baby is a boy or girl (for sure)? Maybe it's Goines? I'm guessing the father of Olivia's child was one of her clients, but is his identity important? When Olivia was burning the parchment document, I kept thinking of that terminator movie: No fate but what we make. I love Jennifer and Cole's friendship.
