I only watched the first episode of Season 1 Whitstable Pearl and didn't care for it. I was thinking of giving it another go. Could I just jump straight to Season 2 or would that be too confusing?

ESPN is doing another Serena tongue bath conversation instead of covering live tennis, big matches. She is not on court for another 6 hours. I've switched to ESPN Deportes and they are actually showing tennis.

Preach! I only want to watch ESPN coverage if I can fast forward through all the Serena uptalk all the time. That includes the US OPen video packages as well. This morning's coverage I FF for about 25-30 minutes before they showed tennis. I say this as someone who would be happy to see Serena win this, but give it a rest.

Mr. Khyber was attached to an F-14 squadron when he was in the Navy. Miramar, weapons tech. All his deployments were on aircraft carriers. Watching this movie with him was listening to a constant stream of "well, they wouldn't be able to do that" etc. It was pretty funny. But even with all the technical faults he still really enjoyed the film. Its nice when you have a question about Sidewinder missiles that the person next to you can answer it.

I'm happy to see Coco V. shown the door. Amazingly, no bathroom break for Steph.

I never watched GOT, does anyone have a feel for whether or not you can enjoy this show without that background.?

Peacock highlight shows have been great.

It is terrifying how impactful spectators can be at this event. I am enjoying the extended high lights coverage on Peacock.

I don't care about anyone's personal "journey", etc. I just want to see interesting creative cooking. I ignore or fast forward through the other stuff.

Now, every time I step on the scale I say to myself "Only whores weigh themselves."

I don't like Zverev for various reasons but that looked bad, I hope he's okay in the future.
