  1. Why couldn't the editors cut the Maggie scene once the cancellation was announced? Sam's welcome home party would have been a great way to end. I'll miss the show, it filled a spot that Hawaii 5-0 left.
  2. I started watching the "Baking Championship" shows because of Covid but I intentionally looked for this thread this week because the twist messing up Nikki's cake flavors infurieatd me. I wish they would just make it a requirement from the beginning and keep it moving.
  3. I'm there and the house was what really pointed out her selfishness for me. Why shouldnt this man with means want to build and live in a home that reflects him and the comforts he would like in life? Also, the Coulters are not broke or am I missing something? I don't know why they don't build a house somewhere else either.
  4. I don't even know where to start with this episode. It had the potential to be really good but the "TK might have HD" storyline took up time I would have rather seen devoted somewhere else. I agree with TK that Owen should/could have waited until he had the results before sharing with TK. Waiting a short-time for information is entirely different from trying to keep an illness secret. Everything about the TK freakout to Carlos annoyed me because it didn't have to be and it took time from the more interesting story in my opinion. I really don't know the "right" answer for this situation and am disappointed that the two of them didn't talk it out and come to an understanding. I'm also confused by Judd being at the hospital with just Tommy and not even Grace, nevermind the rest of the house. That's out of character for ALL of these people especially since TK and Nancy recognized Wyatt on arrival. It also makes TK & Carlos going out to celebrate seem a little callous even though I understand the motivation. I did like the double-couple date scene and love that Grace called out the pastor for being biased. I also liked the Owen and Robert scenes, and the group firehouse stuff.
  5. Nope. When they went to the Dixon (is that their last name?) house the crib was still assembled in Charley's room. Eddie comments that his daughter didn't use it often. They talk for a bit, Gary freaks out, and Eddie starts taking it a part. I guess we can fanwank that it wasn't wide enough to fit through the bedroom door.
  6. I don't expect a lot from this show, but Ernie going to unnecessarily tell Jane's children BEFORE they knew anything made me really dislike him this episode. I get having that conversation if there was something her son could have done to help with the investigation, or if it had been a few hours at least and she was still unfound, or if they were religious people who would like that info so they could pray about Jane's situation but it was none of that. Ernie told Alex who then proceeded to spend the rest of the episode sitting at a table and worrying and bringing him food. I love Boom-Boom and am always happy to see him but I wish he had an actual purpose this episode. I didn't miss her but where was Lucy?
  7. I worked with a guy named Chad and he was super cool. Actually, the whole department was, we were united in our mutual dislike/despair over our mean boss.
  8. I was confused why they even took it apart to begin with. The doors to the Dixon house were big enough to fit it through and Eddie owns a van right? Don't seats go down in the back in most minivans/SUVs these days? And the apartment door at Maggies & Gary's looked wide enough too.
  9. I know we've never seen this on this show but I'd be okay with them recasting the Lucille character if it meant that Cyril could stay. It may not be successful but I wouldn't mind them trying.
  10. I don't get the cute either because there are at least 10 minutes of advertisements after each episode. I'd rather see the cut scenes.
  11. I really like Tre's energy. He comes across as the baby brother of the group. I liked Martine as well and am sad she's gone (I just finished that episode) but the meat situation seemed really bad. My other favorites are Tanya, Vish, Monica, and Desiree.
  12. Hello, I'm watching from the US and couldn't watch live so am just getting to this season now. I'm completely confused that Hair Restaurant won over the other restaurant. The only thing I can think of is that the Hair Restaurant had more dishes to judge so that helped average out their experience vs Tre's restaurant which had one bad dish out of 4.
  13. And just like that, I'm now watching LCK for Samuel's reactions. LOL. Maybe it's because he's the only one this week but I noticed that he seemed very quiet and disinterested in the process. Tom being unable to draw him into a conversation was hilarious to me. I wish I could watch some of these other versions of Top Chef because I would like to see the contestants on their home shows. Agreed! Just because you forced yourself through something once, doesn't mean that you can a second time ESPECIALLY when it's not an area of strength. I keep a list of restaturants I would like to visit if I'm ever in a city, and she's definitely on it because I think she's got the talent and her food would be awesome!
  14. I binged this show and it started so well but Team Alpha really ruined it for me. I agree with the above poster who said that just the survivial aspect/human relationships without the sabatoge made it interesting enough. Alpha Team's actions really turned the show ugly. No team was perfect but they were the worst so I'm glad they didn't win. I also didn't appreciate one of the producers trying to sanitize their actions as, "They just wanted to get home sooner" in an interview. I felt really bad for Javier for all that he went through but also that he couldn't compete on his own skills which is why I thought he was there. I understand why the others didn't fight but applaud him for standing up for what was right as much as he could. His biggest mistake IMO was yelling the conversation across the lake instead of just going over there in person. I don't think I'd watch a season 2 because if there are no rules against Alpha team's behavior, then the genie can't get put back into the bottle.
  15. This show had it's ups and downs but I mostly liked it and will miss it now that it's gone.
  16. Do a lot of people subscribe to Apple TV? I only did a subscription to finish this show because I heard it was the last season. Anyway, I think it's great and really enjoy our core family. If this was a different show or had more episodes I would love one with just Tamacti, Harlan, and Charlotte because these 3 are great!
  17. Not Paris!!! I want her to survive but will also be annoyed by miracle saves. With Baba gone and Paris dead, Kofun & Haniwa are down only to thier mother as their protector and I don't think Mahgra is ready for the political machinations that are about to come her way. I wish Wren was more intersting to me but now that Edo is dead, I'm not invested in anyone from Trivantes.
  18. Toad and Charlotte are my favorite new characters, and Harlan is a nice foil to Baba Voss. I suspect eventually Harlan will become the big bad guy but for know his snarkiness is great. Also, Paris & Toad would be an awesome couple. I hope it works out for them.
  19. I feel like Kofun was always her goal by the way she mentioned him in Season 1. Boots was just a convenient substitute.
  20. Poor Bow Lion. I felt the sorriest for her during season 1 and I can imagine how betrayed she must feel with them bringing Tamacti Jun and not holding him accountable for all the death he's caused.
  21. So, I only watched the first season during it's original run but have resubsctibed to Apple TV to watch the whole thing and this scene is the one that I remembered the most. Upon rewatch, I'm surprised that it happened so early in the season.
  22. So I just watched this movie yesterday and I knew it would be a tear-jerker but I wasn't expecting that ending. In some ways it doesn't feel earned but in others it works for me.
  23. That’s because the bickering they do is just how they communicate in their high intensity moments but doesn’t have serious heat behind it. When the chips are down they’re not going to put winning over someone’s health.
  24. So I just finished the Photo episode (#28) and WOW!!!! From the Good to the Bad to the Ugliest of Ugly.... Jack: Bravo! He jumped right in and understood the assignment from the start. I appreciate that he was unfazed about her past and was committed to defending her especially while she was in shock. He also asked the pertinent questions that lead us eventually back to the source. Domenica: Bravo to her for not keeping this a secret from Jack. If this was his first time learning of this (which Olivia probably hoped for) he would have been playing catch up. Tonight they were the best and most united couple in the room. Ella: She's really the voice of reason in this group or at least when it comes to Domenica. I love that she can see through Olivia without delving into an Olivia slugfest and can rationally explain to the other women why they weren't being good friends. The Experts: They were a great audience substitute this week and we were really in sync. I can't wait for next week to see their response and may even try to catch it on one of the sites shared in this group. Brent: I appreciate that he seemed to realize that the group was wrong and by the end defended Dom & Jack's reaction. Selina: So of the Peanut Gallery Wives (Samantha and Tamara being the other 2 when it comes to the Domenica - Olivia feud) she was the only one who had an inclination to pull Domenica aside to discuss what was going on so I have to give her kudos for this spirit. I only wish she had followed through and not let Cody talk her out it. WTH!?!? I get wanting to be in sync with him but she should have trusted her gut. Cody: I reluctantly admire him bringing the issue to the spotlight so that it wasn't a dirty secret that everyone else was whispering about but man did he pick the wrong setting. He should have gone with Selina's plan and the two of them should have talked with Domenica & Jack together. Al & Mitch: They really didn't contribute anything which is ok. Everyone doesn't always have to talk. Samantha & Tamara: I know, it's hard to admit when you're wrong and apologize to people but the two of them doubling down on they didn't do anything wrong or couldn't have done more to speak with Domenica before they were back on camera is nonsense. Bravo to Olivia for getting these two to take some of the slack for her maliciousness. Jackson: The only reason he's on this list for me is because by default he's partnered with Olivia. I get that he's exhibiting the "I'll stick by you in public and talk to you in private" model and I really can't fault him for that but I wish he could have publicly called Olivia on her mean-girlness because he seems to be the only one to really understand the depth of this character trait after living with her. I'm sure Ella suspects, but Jackson knows. Ultimately his final decision will decide for me if he deserves this place or if he can move up. Olivia: This Chick!! Besides her general unpleasantness and classism traits, the worst part is that she will not own up to what she's intentionally doing except behind closed doors and talking heads or other safe settings. If this is who you are, be this person and tell it like it is. I'm glad that there are more people who are seeing the real her.
  25. Hello all. Now that I’ve found the show again, I’m still watching. I’m watching the show as they air on Lifetime and am up to date. Regarding the Olivia/Dominica fight, I was originally on Olivia’s side at the commitment ceremony. Dom was out of line berating Carolina after the experts had already reprimanded her. Everything else Olivia did after that shows her true character as an adult mean girl.
