  1. You know, I've been thinking about 301 and all the little clips we've seen so far and all the spoilers we've been given and on top of that there's also gonna be flashback scenes to Hong Kong which makes me wonder HOW are they gonna fit it all into 40 minutes? Sinceriously, I have no idea. It must be a really fast-paced episode.
  2. Exactly. While I get a great deal of enjoyment out of Olicity, I enjoy so much more than that pairing. I am in AWE of the stunts on this show, like sometimes I have rewound scenes just to study them they are so amazing. I loved Moira even though she was seriously questionable at times. Susanna Thompson was wonderful in every scene she was in. I am a big Quentin Lance fan which proves characters can be redeemed on this show because I disliked him in s1. And most of all I LOVE Team Arrow. Just all variants of it, I want it all. So when haters tarnish shippers with this 'ruining the show because of shipping' brush, I get so rage-y. And linking back into what I was saying before, I also think people forget that there is an audience out there that doesn't read spoilers or go online and talk like we do, so to a lot of casual fans they're really only going to see that one promo on TV with a couple of Olicity scenes, so I think this over promotion of Olicity thing is kinda unfair. Curse of the internet I suppose.
  3. Meh. That news about a love interest for Thea is so…blah. I've been watching the promo a few times and I got so excited when I paused it and saw Thea playing around with a sword. It looked like Malcolm was training her. I wanted all action not heart eyes for her. Did we really need another love interest? REALLY?
  4. I find this sudden hate on Olicity getting a lot of promotion baffling because we all know the spoilers. Olicity is pretty much going to cool off for a while after 301 so popularity for that ship aside, I can kind of understand them giving us lots of good stuff before we go a long time without any. I don't think people have quite realized that it's going to be Olicity heaven for ONE episode before it goes to hell. So while I'd love to have some more spoilers about Digg and Quentin Lance and other characters, I don't mind getting wrapped up in Olicity goodness before we get nothing for half a dozen episodes. It's gonna happen. Just wait. Besides, the more popular a ship becomes the more the haters come out, although I honestly don't see that much and when I do it's so inaccurate it's kind of comical. Haters seem to think Olicity fans only care about Olicity and it is so not the case. Sure, a romance is always going to get a lot of excitement but that doesn't mean we're not excited about other things. Best to just ignore them.
  5. I've been thinking about this too. Too much. But now that we've established there are two orange dresses, my guess for the timeline is this (yes, I'm typing this out): 1) Orange dress. I remember reading something about the episode opening with a big Team Arrow action scene and with the shot of Felicity in this dress when the team returns to the foundry, and the other shot of her wearing it when O/F shoot flirty eyes at each other as she leaves, makes me wonder if this is the first outfit of the episode and BEFORE Oliver even asks her out. I also thought that maybe Oliver will run into Sara during this mission and that's when she tells him that they need people who don't wear masks, which probably prompts the flirty eyes and also gears him up to ask Felicity out. So let's call this Day 1. 2) The blue floral top thing that we can barely see when Oliver asks her out to dinner. Day 2. 3) Plum colored boob dress she wears to QC meeting/kiss in hallway. I'd guess Day 3. 4) Blue shirt/uniform she wears to work. Could still be Day 3, in the evening. 5) Smoking hot red dress she wears for the date, which is the same day she's at work given Oliver is asking her about Italian for their date that night. So lots of outfits but probably only over 3 days. Hahaha I can't believe I even thought about this. I'm not worried about Ray in the long term but I've already taken a dislike to him in that short clip we saw. I thought he was way too arrogant and I'm honestly sick of love triangles so I'm not really looking forward to whatever they're planning for Felicity and Ray. Here's hoping he's only a 'potential' love interest and not a full blown one. I just don't see them selling that pairing after the way Oliver looks/acts so happy and in love in that promo. Olicity is a done deal for me. There's no going back now.
  6. Ok. That promo? AWESOME. Love this flirty quippy happy side of Oliver and just how in love he looked with Felicity. Loved the banter. Loved the Team Arrow stuff. Not sure about Felicity working at a computer store. I mean, I can totally understand her taking on a job like that for a while but with her skill set and degree, I can't believe 6-7 months later she's still working there. Minor detail I guess. Ray seemed like an arrogant douche (I parked on your roof…ugh) but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. The guy playing Ra's al Ghul? Um. Not sure about that one. He's supposed to be Katrina Law's father! Not who I pictured at all.
  7. He probably only has a scene or two in the episodes filmed so far.
  8. This was interesting to read because I missed this the first time round but what she says and what we saw onscreen are two very different things so I'm kind of confused there. From what I remember, she barely interacted with Oliver as the Arrow and she spent most of it as a 'damsel in distress.' Are there missing scenes? There must be. It's interesting that she says Laurel loves Oliver more because he's the Arrow. Does the strength of her love depend on him being the Arrow? Also, I thought the 'Laurel's smitten by her. She thinks she's pretty incredible' quote about Sara pretty much sums up the direction of her character this coming season and the questions of identity. I know there was some discussion about Laurel's path to BC and this, to me, hints at that. Laurel wants to be like her sister because she wants to be incredible too. If she's going to be BC I would have preferred a better origin story than wanting to be like her sister. Wow. I wonder if they'd be saying the same thing if Olicity wasn't a factor.
  9. Ah. I see. Makes sense now. I thought sister swapping was more of a soap storyline but what do I know? Sorry. That was a little catty! Oooops. Why would they do that? To what end? Wow. I'm so glad I'm not on twitter so I don't have to see this. I think it would drive me insane.
  10. Wow, seeing those tweets between SA's wife and fans is just…I have no words. I had no idea things were like that but then I'm not on twitter so I rarely see things like that. Gross. She'd be better to just ignore it but I understand getting tired of seeing hate. Also, shipping SA and EBR when he's married?! So weird. Keep it to yourself. Seriously. The guy is media savvy so he probably sees that and I can't think of anything more embarrassing. To keep my comment on topic, I think I'm a bit in love with Katrina Law. I'd love to see her on the show more. I kind of loved her little thing with Felicity so I'd love to see them interact a bit more.
  11. That's cool. I don't really agree with that person's comments below it though. Since when is Arrow an O/F soap?! HUH?!
  12. I thought Amell loved talking about Olicity. I'm sure he'd love other questions too but it seems strange he'd get fed up talking about something he has only ever championed.
  13. I've seen it being 5, 6, 7 and 8 months! If we go by Lyla's pregnancy as a time frame, she easily could have been two-three months pregnant when Digg found out in the s2 finale. It happens. So maybe it's 6 or 7 months? I don't know. If it's 5 months, she could even go into labor early too.
  14. Although I don't think Oliver realized he was in love with Felicity that early in the season (despite what's been said I thought that he slowly built to that conclusion throughout s2, particularly late s2), I see what you mean about the Sara/Oliver thing. I actually think the writers suddenly realized they were advancing Olicity too quickly, because the first ten episodes of s2 were full of great relationship-building moments between Oliver and Felicity and then they threw O/S in like a spanner in the works to slow things down. So I totally understand that, even though I never saw O/S as anything really deep and emotional despite what they were trying to imply sometimes. I mean, Oliver never once said he loved Sara and the whole moving in together thing was awkward and uncomfortable to be honest. O/S never felt like a proper relationship to me. Personally I viewed it as them killing time, which is maybe too harsh. I don't know. Basically I just saw O/S as two people who sought comfort with each other even though it wasn't right. But yeah, the whole sleeping with Sara while he potentially had feelings for Felicity was kinda strange and a setback for Oliver's character, especially after the whole 'because of the life I lead' speech. Ugh. But as you said, they played with Oliver's character growth a lot last season and it was uncomfortable because we can't root for a hero who does things like that. As for the ILY coming out of nowhere, to me it did but also it didn't? Lol. When he said it I actually gasped but then a second later was like, 'finally he realized it!' It just felt like a truth to me because of everything that had led to that point between Oliver and Felicity alone. When you remove all the other factors like O/S and O/L, Olicity have had such an amazing build up. Also, I couldn't agree more about that kiss looking so…right. They just look so comfortable together. This whole season is gonna hurt but I'm ready for it.
  15. Oh, I agree with you. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it too. I actually don't think there needed to be such a big time jump but I suppose they want to advance the whole Diggle baby thing and Oliver being in a good place so they can mess it all up, which as I type sounds stupid! I guess what I was trying to say is that I'm confused why people suddenly think it's strange that he's asking her out and saying 'I love you' and whatever. I keep reading things online where people are like 'it makes no sense!' which is weird to me because I thought their growing feelings were obvious, you know? I never needed it spelled out explicitly. Also, I couldn't agree more about the comic thing. I wasn't aware it was 24 chapters so I'm kinda pissed that we won't see the bridge between s2 and s3 before s3 even starts. I feel cheated by that, definitely. Also, if they knew it was going to be 24 chapters why did they wait so long to release it? We could have been reading it throughout the summer to be caught up in time for s3. It makes no sense.
  16. I can easily buy Oliver and Felicity growing closer after the 'I love you.' I'm not one of these who doesn't see how they jump from the s2 finale to Oliver asking her out on a date. It was inevitable. There's nothing like acknowledging feelings and putting them out there to make them more aware of things, to make them wonder about the possibility of more between them. That said, it is a little annoying that we don't get to see it happen. But I can say that about a lot of things, like Roy's training/becoming Arsenal. He barely had a few lessons before he was unconscious in s2 and now all of a sudden he's Arsenal and shooting arrows like a pro. I would have liked to see that development too. I guess it's just one of those things we have to put up with, especially as there must be a reason for the time jump, right?
  17. If there is one way to get my blood to boil, it's using the phrase 'fan pandering.' I'm sorry but the producers and the head of WB liked Felicity before the episodes even aired. Having her come on for more episodes was not the result of the fan reaction but people in the business using their common sense. If you were making a TV show and you saw the chemistry between Amell and Rickards and how Oliver's character came alive around her, you'd do everything in your power to keep her on the show. They did. Sure, fans enjoyed Olicity and I'm sure the were a few more Olicity scenes as a result but what is so wrong with giving your audience what they want? What's so wrong with realizing what doesn't work and going with what does? I get so rage-y about this.
  18. Wow, I really don't remember them calling Roy Speedy! I need to do a series re-watch asap!
  19. Yeah that 'feelings or lack thereof' comment was really odd given all the spoilers we had from SDCC about Oliver and Felicity being in love. Maybe Amell was just trying to keep the suspense because he doesn't know who follows spoilers or not? Plus Oliver asks Felicity on a date and she looked pretty happy when she nodded yes in that promo. And her actions for the past two seasons speak as someone falling in love. She might not have acknowledged it because she didn't think she had a chance with Oliver but I don't believe for one second that Felicity doesn't have feelings for him. No way.
  20. I just read the comic and I'm really disappointed. Not with the content as such, just that I read it in five minutes, if that. Also since when does Oliver . There's no lead up to that in the show.
  21. KC doing stunts seems a bit quick doesn't it? They've only filmed five episodes, I thought they'd need a bit more build up to her training and stuff.
  22. Is that a HD version? It seems really dark to me. Someone with skills should lighten it!
  23. I don't think they'd play with the fan base the way they did in the season finale. The kiss is happening! It's not a fake-out. I'd also say there was two kisses only because the kiss in the promo didn't read like a first kiss to me, but I could be wrong. I don't care how many times they kiss though. I'm just so happy they kiss! I haven't rooted for a pairing like this in years. It's pretty exciting.
  24. I've been watching that promo again and the guy Laurel hits in the hospital bed kind of looks like the guy who called Felicity a bitch before she says 'Bitch with wifi' in s2. He also looks like the guy in s1, Martin Somers, although I think someone already mentioned that here. I'm really curious about it though, which surprises me because it's Laurel. I really do want them to turn her character around though.
  25. Yes, exactly the same as Dawson and Joey. It just felt so wrong. I never liked them but I knew that Oliver/Laurel would happen at some point because they had been building towards it all season, but the whole thing was just icky to me, especially because of the conversation Oliver had with Tommy beforehand. He totally screwed him over. It was awful. The whole kiss just had no chemistry either so it made it even worse. I always skip over it during re-watches.
