  1. sorry between this show and the 100 i've been coming across a lot of post from just pick the shows apart thoroughly. With a show like a nation in particular I just think bringing too much logic into it won't get you far. The show has its serious moment but logic often doesn't live there. Just stating a opinion. To each there own.
  2. you really don't know how to relax and just watch a show do you? It's z nation. A asylum/syfy show. Stop with logic. Just have fun.
  3. It actually doesn't mean that. For the past few season, they seem to aware of this issue so they make sure to not just have actors set up for Talking Dead on their death episode. This is also not the first time Chris has tried to stress this. He and the show are aware of this issue. He's addressing it.
  4. Uh, if she thought she was going to play Sandy at the play hadn't started, what other outfit would she be wearing? I think there is a bit a stretching.
  5. I'm talking about fans in general. This isn't the only the place that talks about the show. There are certain fans that seem to think the show is weak when it decides to not focus on race related issues/topics. The minute they a general family sitcom spot, people starting labeling it just another sitcom. It's not what they signed up for, blah blah blah. My thing is that that the show shouldn't be about BLACK PEOPLE and their lives. It should be about a family that happens to be black. I do like that the show puts things in like Diane's hair to make it unique. I just don't need to be hit over the head with it is what I'm saying (like what the pilot sort of did).
  6. Damn, it's been like a couple of months and people are already starting with the this show is in a rut type comments. As I'be said before, this show can't just be about race every week. Every once in a while they will dip into the sitcom plots we know. There is no way for that not to happen. At least we learn more about the characters in the process. This show hasn't had a bad episode yet , imo. So I just can't get with negativity.
  7. That would bother me if they never bothered to explained it. Knowing his history with his parents explains why he's so attached to his mother. His mother gave him all the love he needed and felt he wasn't given by his dad. It explains why they are so close and why he goes overboard with making her happy. What she did for him means so much to her. That and there was an honest struggle to keep the both of them happy. Obviously, Bow wasn't in the wrong at all but that never stops in-laws from being a pain in the ass. He thought getting them to be friends would solve it but got it together in the end. No complaints here. All of the story beats were logical. Dealing with relations between in-laws and spouses can be tricky.
  8. I swear Jennifer Lewis has been playing the character for over 25 years. I say that to throw shade. But, there is nothing here to tell me that this character isn't also Dean from the last season of "A Different World". Lewis is nearly sixty so her being aged a little bit isn't an issue for me.
  9. And...I still don't give a shit about shipping. If people want to ship, let them ship. Some people like a little romance in their shows. Some people think that some of the characters should be logically linking up. It's not serious enough for me the complain about every time shipping comes up on the aftershow. There is barely any show on tv where a fair amount of shipping from the audience doesn't exist. The aftershow would be foolish to just ignore it.
  10. he was quite the ladies man when he was still wrestling. He even admits that he wasn't a good boyfriend but no woman hated him after they were done. He has slowed down in recent years and is now married to active female wrestler. So kudos to him.
  11. She was laughing while talking to him. They clearly just having a normal conversation, while Woody was trying to his goodbyes which was hilarious. Never change Jennifer. She never fails to bring the awkward. And Leslie was getting her feels on.
  12. Actually it was obvious last year. When they split a episode to two parts, it was clearly because they needed to extend the episode order to ten. Otherwise, they would have been a episode short.

    S05.E05: Self Help

yep. Abraham has a continuous wound that won't stop bleeding. Both literally and figuratively. What happened in the store and loss of his family will not haunting no matter how hard he tries.
  14. I don't think it's about a side. Getting them back together is what he thinks is best for both of them. Also, both sides screwed up. Their really isn't a side to take. And Joel didn't do anything terrible to blow up the marriage. He just didn't fight for it like he should of. So, that's what Zeke is telling him to do. I guess Sarah will be next on Zeke's bucket list. In regards to Zeke/Drew. Zeke is always the abrasive man but I cut him some slack right now. The man seems to be in rush to solve what it can and spend time with his family before dies. The whole health issue has been an eye opening thing for him. He doesn't mean any harm. He doesn't know how much time he has left.
  15. Mulaney (the show) needs to die. There is no loss to the tv world when that gets cancelled.
  16. I don't feel sorry for any of these people. They can make love connections after the show is over. Some people from the first season have. They free room and board with a bunch of attractive people and a chance to win a bunch of money. They could cry me a river. Get their minds together, figure out this game and get to know whoever when the show is over.
  17. That's an extremely narrow view of comedy. Slapstick humor means there was no humor at all? Airplane and Naked Gun (among other movies) are classics for a reason. It was a silly farce of an episode. Not the end of the world.
  18. I'm pretty sure he was spending most of his time filming the Chicago/SVU crossover.
  19. This show drives me nuts. Instead of doing stupid kissing games and parties. Everyone sit down and hash out their likes and dislikes. Do you want kids? How religious are you? What sort of home life did you grow up in? What do you think your dating flaws are? And make pairings based on that criteria. Bone who you want to bone when the show is over. Stop acting like a non-match is the end of the world. You are not forced into marriage at the end of the season. You don't even have to hook up when your taken away after a truth booth match. Idiots!
  20. She could be lying about the medicine. Just because said it doesn't make it true. The main point is that he's probably going to investigate further.
  21. I see endless crapping on this show so I'm going come from a more positive standpoint. I don't think that Ray was THAT different. They have made him more functional as a character but he still seemed like he was a little challenged. I don't mind it. I'm assuming that Bellamy is going to try and find the facility and get more medicine for the returned (and get his sister back). That's why he left his cell phone behind. Maggie and Bellamy are both grieving and I see nothing wrong with that. Bellamy just learned all of this about his life and that he had his real family right there with him and missed his chance to get to know them. He lost his family twice. Why would that not affect him? And Maggie was just getting to the point where she was willing to accept her mom into her life. She never got a chance to get to know her and she finally all in with this new chance and now (like Bellamy) she lost her mom all over again. Don't see a problem with her not handling it well. Also, she is clearly constantly working on helping the returned along with her own personal issues. That would be rough on anybody. I don't really care about the warehouse plot but I don't mind it. Every drama has some plots you will never be fully invested in. It's fine. Good episode for me.
  22. well seeing as this is a Beth centric episode, it should be brought up here more than any other episode. I don't recall the topic being brought up much on talking dead and message boards are message boards. Not a big deal to me anyway. Until the show addresses how the girls feel about being separated from each other, people will complain and joke about it.
  23. I just wanted to point out how much I disagree with your first statment. It was a joke but it was also something that needs to be talked about. The show has dropped the ball when it comes to the sisters concerning for one another. They should be called out in it.

    S05.E04: Slabtown

For some reason, I just wanted to see Carol wink at Beth while she was being wheeled into the room.
