  1. Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with the notion that Nicki's part of WU was brief. They did like two pictures too many. God, I've been really easy on WU this season and I don't care what Che says (or does) in his personal life as long as he isn't breaking any laws but damn that WU this weak was fucking brutal. That cringe overdrive. This whole show lately is suffering from to many flubs and timing issues. I don't care if people break or laugh in sketch but the now regular occurrence of flubbing lines and throwing the comedy off is really bugging me.
  2. I must steal a quote from the sitcom different world. To enzo, DIE Just DIE.
  3. man, the hate for laurel is just too over the top for me. Literally counting the seconds she's on screen? Come on.
  4. Sadly, those are bunch of questions I don't care about.
  5. should be watching both, imo. Both are great shows.

    S05.E08: Coda

I'm talking in a general sense. Of course, not every one feels this way. But from the moment they slowed down this season, a lot reactions have went along the Boring! lines.

Out of all things that show has done, Michonne fiercely defending Carl and Judith with the baby strapped to her back (a fake one because of course they had to use a fake one) is the tipping point? Anytime Michonne is allowed to be badass is fine by me. I was paying attention to how lethal she was in that scene to notice anything else anyway. I think that was the intent as well.

Whenever the show isn't working at a breakneck speed plotwise or having wall to wall action set pieces, the show is labeled boring. This show can never slow down or try for any type of character introspection. It gets labeled as boring every time.

Nope. The show can't make me feel like Maggie actually cared that much about her sister after the way she was written this season.
  10. sorry between this show and the 100 i've been coming across a lot of post from just pick the shows apart thoroughly. With a show like a nation in particular I just think bringing too much logic into it won't get you far. The show has its serious moment but logic often doesn't live there. Just stating a opinion. To each there own.
  11. you really don't know how to relax and just watch a show do you? It's z nation. A asylum/syfy show. Stop with logic. Just have fun.
  12. It actually doesn't mean that. For the past few season, they seem to aware of this issue so they make sure to not just have actors set up for Talking Dead on their death episode. This is also not the first time Chris has tried to stress this. He and the show are aware of this issue. He's addressing it.
  13. Uh, if she thought she was going to play Sandy at the play hadn't started, what other outfit would she be wearing? I think there is a bit a stretching.
  14. I'm talking about fans in general. This isn't the only the place that talks about the show. There are certain fans that seem to think the show is weak when it decides to not focus on race related issues/topics. The minute they a general family sitcom spot, people starting labeling it just another sitcom. It's not what they signed up for, blah blah blah. My thing is that that the show shouldn't be about BLACK PEOPLE and their lives. It should be about a family that happens to be black. I do like that the show puts things in like Diane's hair to make it unique. I just don't need to be hit over the head with it is what I'm saying (like what the pilot sort of did).
  15. Damn, it's been like a couple of months and people are already starting with the this show is in a rut type comments. As I'be said before, this show can't just be about race every week. Every once in a while they will dip into the sitcom plots we know. There is no way for that not to happen. At least we learn more about the characters in the process. This show hasn't had a bad episode yet , imo. So I just can't get with negativity.
  16. That would bother me if they never bothered to explained it. Knowing his history with his parents explains why he's so attached to his mother. His mother gave him all the love he needed and felt he wasn't given by his dad. It explains why they are so close and why he goes overboard with making her happy. What she did for him means so much to her. That and there was an honest struggle to keep the both of them happy. Obviously, Bow wasn't in the wrong at all but that never stops in-laws from being a pain in the ass. He thought getting them to be friends would solve it but got it together in the end. No complaints here. All of the story beats were logical. Dealing with relations between in-laws and spouses can be tricky.
  17. I swear Jennifer Lewis has been playing the character for over 25 years. I say that to throw shade. But, there is nothing here to tell me that this character isn't also Dean from the last season of "A Different World". Lewis is nearly sixty so her being aged a little bit isn't an issue for me.
  18. And...I still don't give a shit about shipping. If people want to ship, let them ship. Some people like a little romance in their shows. Some people think that some of the characters should be logically linking up. It's not serious enough for me the complain about every time shipping comes up on the aftershow. There is barely any show on tv where a fair amount of shipping from the audience doesn't exist. The aftershow would be foolish to just ignore it.
  19. he was quite the ladies man when he was still wrestling. He even admits that he wasn't a good boyfriend but no woman hated him after they were done. He has slowed down in recent years and is now married to active female wrestler. So kudos to him.
  20. She was laughing while talking to him. They clearly just having a normal conversation, while Woody was trying to his goodbyes which was hilarious. Never change Jennifer. She never fails to bring the awkward. And Leslie was getting her feels on.
  21. Actually it was obvious last year. When they split a episode to two parts, it was clearly because they needed to extend the episode order to ten. Otherwise, they would have been a episode short.

    S05.E05: Self Help

yep. Abraham has a continuous wound that won't stop bleeding. Both literally and figuratively. What happened in the store and loss of his family will not haunting no matter how hard he tries.
  23. I don't think it's about a side. Getting them back together is what he thinks is best for both of them. Also, both sides screwed up. Their really isn't a side to take. And Joel didn't do anything terrible to blow up the marriage. He just didn't fight for it like he should of. So, that's what Zeke is telling him to do. I guess Sarah will be next on Zeke's bucket list. In regards to Zeke/Drew. Zeke is always the abrasive man but I cut him some slack right now. The man seems to be in rush to solve what it can and spend time with his family before dies. The whole health issue has been an eye opening thing for him. He doesn't mean any harm. He doesn't know how much time he has left.
  24. Mulaney (the show) needs to die. There is no loss to the tv world when that gets cancelled.
