I don't know. Scandal is in this weird place. People got tired of B316 overwhelming the show and it has been slightly phased out. Olitz drama was on overload and for now they've been put on the backburner. More cases of the week were wanted and it's what we've been getting. People complain about the show being too over the top but that's how the show got popular in the first place. I feel like Scandal is another show that can't win right now. To stay on this episode, I enjoyed it. The show is called Scandal and they gave one. It may been waters we've been in before but Scandal's are probably the biggest most honest scandal in politics. You asked why are people shocked that he died. You also brought up the fact that he got a new show. If people didn't know he got a new show, they wouldn't be expecting his death. And knowing that people dying on the show doesn't mean that people aren't still going to be surprised when a character dies. It's a natural feeling.

Not everyone follows every bit of casting news out there. People just might not know he has another job. The actor on Talking Dead said he didn't know he was being killed off.

So, Beth, who did so much to free Noah is dead. Tyrese, after pushing Noah to keep going and making sure he was okay and safe going into his old home, dead. Now, Noah is dead. It's not the end of the world but it really sucks when you make character sacrifices seem pointless.

Yeah, this was a difficult situation. Everything you could say on both sides of the Jason/Nicole fight have been exhibited throughout the season. Not there is one side totally. I think everyone will agree that Jason is wrong. But, all season, you've had people jumping each others faces, assaulting each other, degrading each other, coming this close to fight (whether it be female/female, male/female or male/male) while not actually going there. People going at each other and just making up the next day. Like it's just crazy. There was going to be a point where you things just go too far. As, I've said before, I'm tired of the "you never put your hands on a woman" crap. Keep your hands to yourself period. I would be just as upset if Nicole hauled off and slugged Jason. Violence is not the answer. At the end of the day, these people drink too damn much. They are pretty much all emotional drunks and don't know when to walk the fuck away. Jason should have shut fuck up and went to sleep before he got that damn angry. Nicole should have just let the man be. There was nothing that was going to be solved that night anyway. Just sleep it off and shut up already. It's why I don't miss going out and getting drunk and partying anymore. I'm only 32 now (not even in a relationship or a father) but I just have no interest in it anymore. None of it sounds appealing to me. You also get stupid fights like this. If they do return, they need ration what these people have to drink. I heard a rumor that they extended the length of the season instead of using the one extra episode they would have for a reunion. I don't know why they would do that in any way. There was plenty of fat that could have been cut this season to have one less episode and reunion at the end. And, reality shows need some sort of reunion these days. That's the way it works now.

No one is saying that homophpbia is a "black thing". There is a certain type of homophobia that is very well known with many black people. Again, when people say this, they aren't talking about all black people. As a black man, I've grown up in a culture where being openly hostile about gay people is just accepted. Hip Hop culture is rampant with dialogue and lyrics that are disrespectful and rude to gay people. It's just a open kind of hatred or at the very least, misunderstanding of homosexuality that many people don't seem to understand. Of course, homophobia (actually I hate saying that word because I don't think a lot of people are actually scared of gay people) is a world wide thing. It's just a different in a way that's hard to explain. Plus, there is the whole down low thing that, while yes many men are in the closet for different reasons, there are a alarming about of black males that keep that part of their sexuality hidden. I think a lot of it is out of fear of how they will be perceived by other black people. But, if you don't live in it, I don't think you can really understand it.
