  1. Well it's the same police force that Linden and Holder came from and as has been demonstrated, they're not the most competent detectives. I mean after all of her time being a cop, Linden went back to the scene of the crime to dump evidence (not even to destroy it - but just to throw it into the lake of doom) and sent texts from her victim's phone post-death... Agree to disagree. I think if that had happened, Holder was the kind of man who would have admitted it especially when she came back and the speech from Linden would have been pretty meaningless/false. I don't think that was the show's intention.
  2. Holder didn't verbally deny it, but the expression on his face and his demeanor suggested to me that he was deeply disgusted that she could think he could do something like that after all they had been through. IMO, he didn't do it and it wouldn't really mesh well with Linden's speech and apology at the end if Holder engaged in that kind of deception. Because it would be one thing if he took it, but a whole other level of deception to take it and then bring it back in a way that would make her think she misplaced it. She also flat out apologized for accusing him and to me, Holder would have said something at the very least at that point if he had done it. And her talk about him being someone who always stays wouldn't have much meaning if he had taken the casing after all. I did think it was believable that she couldn't find it. I find that sometimes when I am looking for something, no matter how hard I try I don't find it until I stop looking (funny how things can work out that way). Plus she was a total mess because of what had happened and so I can buy that part of it.
  3. Sonja's Next Appearance on WWHL Sonja: To clarify, I devote about 3 semesters to scheduling events on a Mac. One semester on carrying my luggage around to international diplomats' homes/beds (this satisfies a political science requirement for the interns). Two semesters on how to use a toaster in a sexy way. And finally, the last two semesters are basically the equivalent of a civil engineering course - the interns drive me around/learn about traffic lights - an intensive transportation workshop essentially. Edited because I spelled Sonja as Sonya (OMG how could I forget it's Sonja with a sexy j??)
  4. Andy seemed sort of angry at Melissa and Joe on WWHL. Maybe he was just in a pissy mood. Jim was so annoying. He claims to prosecute mortgage fraud? LOL.
  5. Can all of these characters, with the exception of Donna, just die? I'm done with this show. This episode sucked. First, give me a break with the Apple shit. How convenient that we see an ad for Apple in the middle of the show. Blech. I feel like I'm watching an Ode to Apple. Second, Joe, Gordon, and Cameron are horrible. How wonderful that Cameron just happens to have all the important ideas that viewers will recognize. Is there anything that she didn't create? And her "love story" with Joe? Dreadful. Third, so predictable that Joe lit the shipment on fire. I called it right away. Yawn. I don't give a crap about his pain. I was laughing when he was crying on Cameron's doorstep. Joe, Gordon, and Cameron are just too unlikable for me to continue watching next season (if there even is one). When I want them to all fail horribly, that is a sign that something just isn't right with the show (for me). The show is just soooooooooooooooo clearly written with the benefit of hindsight and from the 21st century perspective that it is severely lacking IMO.
  6. So, after the murders happened, the two other boys went to the colonel and confessed what happened and she helped them cover it up? If they didn't know that Kyle was her son, why did they trust that she would help them and not call the police? Also, why were they so worried about Kyle remembering when Kyle was the one who did all the murders? Yes, AJ and that other guy were horrible, gross people, but why were they so convinced that if Kyle remembered, his first thought would be to turn the others and himself in when that would lead him to go to jail forever? Kyle did confess upon remembering, but were they convinced he'd do it because he was a softie (minus the whole brutally murdering his family thing)? And it was okay for Kyle's dad to raise Kyle, but not the colonel? She just didn't want to or was it something her dad wouldn't allow? I wasn't clear on that. Holder and Linden's get out of jail free card was rather convenient, eh? Not that I mind. I didn't want the series to end with them rotting in prison.
  7. LuAnn got a really shitty deal. She has done all the work of a housewife (trips, reunion, appearances, etc.), yet was demoted and got a pay cut. What a load of crap! Hope she comes back full-time next year. And she would make a great co-host for Andy. She was so good. So, in one breath Ramona thinks her marriage/love life should be off limits and in another she is accusing LuAnn of sleeping with Sonja's boyfriends? GET HER LUANN! Sonja is crazier than Kelly ever was. The woman just makes shit up and is not living in reality. She considers the e-mails she gets from random people/companies to be potential business deals? Hey Sonja, every week or so, I get an e-mail from a Nigerian business man who claims he will make me millions, as long as I send him some money. I guess I will count that as a potential business deal I could be involved in! STOP REPLYING TO SHIT IN YOUR SPAM FOLDER!
  8. She really insulted Heather's husband and directly compared him to Mario, who catches everyone's attention! Clearly, he gets a little too much attention from the ladies. I think Heather has the right to respond to that and throw shade at Ramona.
  9. Miss Terry: So what will you do if Shannon breaks? STFU. He should be ashamed. It's one thing when idiots like Tamra and Heather say that shit, but Terry is a doctor. When he says something like that, it is seen differently. He needs to shut his mouth. Saying that Shannon was "clinical" was so messed up. I hope he gets it at the reunion. I want to know what Danielle did to make production hate her so much. I think it is more than her being boring. Editing of her seems like an intentional effort to show her as little as possible, even if it makes the plot confusing (for example, the dinner that we know she was at, yet wasn't shown at).
  10. I love how Tamra and Heather act like Shannon needs to convince them that she won't act like a lunatic so that they will consider giving her the "honor" of "inviting" her to go to Bali. Hey, Tamra and Heather, we all know BRAVO is the one arranging this trip and will want ALL of the housewives to go (in fact, the housewives' jobs may depend on it), especially the woman who has been involved in a lot of the drama this year. So, STFU. Thanks.
  11. I would love to to see/hear what kind of e-mails/calls go back and forth between Tamra and BRAVO/production. That may be better than the show itself!
  12. Is Amber's husband business lucrative enough where they can afford that house? Or are they living beyond their means?
  13. I'm not surprised. The show is much less enjoyable this year IMO. Here are my reasons for not being as interested: 1) The newbies. I HATED Caroline and I was indifferent to/mostly didn't like Jackie and Kathy, however, that doesn't mean I like the newbies. There is nothing about the newbies that draws me in. And how unnatural was it when the twins (I don't even know their names) found out about Amber trashing one of them and boom, they want to drive over to Amber's? To me, that felt like they were thinking "oh yay! Here is our opportunity to become break out stars. Let's go!" It's just not working for me. Maybe with time, I'll be entertained by them, but not yet. RHONJ was one of my favorite franchises, but this year, there have been times that I want to FF. 2) Teresa's sob story. Blech. If I hear one more time about how she doesn't understand why this is happening to her (because it is so shocking that fraud and theft have consequences!), I am going to throw something at my tv. I never liked Teresa, but at least before, we didn't hear the sad song of doom everytime she was on screen. Obviously, her family is going to be upset at a time like this (even though it is Joe and Teresa's fault), but that doesn't mean I want to watch it. They banked on her working as a lead and it just isn't working because: 1) the drama with her family is over (I mean for purposes of the show because people were so sick of it); and 2) again, not a Teresa fan, but I think that people liked her stupid moments/her blow ups/etc. at least for entertainment purposes. Now, you can tell she wants to just stand back, not be part of any drama, and the only thing she wants to lead is crap having to do with her cookbooks and sob story scenes. This does not a lead make. It doesn't work. 3) Dina's "story" is boring. Watching her obsess over her child and looking at her freaky pets isn't doing it for me. Is she going to do something at some point? I feel like Teresa, Dina, and Melissa are just going to rely on the newbies for drama and I don't care about the newbies' drama. I have no attachment to them whatsoever. Granted, on RHOOC, I care about Shannon's drama and she is a newbie, but I don't care about the RHONJ newbies at all. The whole feel of the show is different. The changes were not positive ones IMO.
  14. I think Shannon is a wonderful addition. She is bringing the drama (half the conversations seem to be about her), but IMO it is not in a fake or ruthless way. It just happens naturally. And she just seems like a likable, nice person to me. Very real. I hope she comes back next year.
  15. Just saw the first look. There is just something so likeable about Shannon IMO. I thought she was really nice and normal during her phone conversations with Lizzie. She doesn't shy away from acknowledging her own faults and she gave Lizzie notice that she wasn't coming, which is more than that Tamra did. Tamra is such a shit stirring witch. Look, I'm not going to pretend like I am someone who doesn't like to hear gossip. Ok, I get that. But, Tamra has no loyalty. Just like Vicki said (can't believe I am using her as a source), she flip flops. She just shit stirs for the sake of shit stirring. It doesn't matter if you're her friend, she'll demolish you. She is just despicable. She totally wanted to get Vicki going on Shannon during the walk and further the "OMG Shannon is so crazy" narrative that the three witches were trying to perpetuate and I am so glad that Vicki didn't go for it. I am not hating Vicki this year. It is really odd. And OMG can Tamra please stop thinking every married woman she meets is her four years ago?? STFU. Most people aren't raging she beasts, Tamra. Stop projecting and get over yourself. Heather, please just STFU. She is so fake. She sounds like she's reading lines. And wtf was that dinner about in the previews? Don't tell me this is the sequel to the dinner they had with Alexis where they listed all of her faults. It better not be. Wtf was Heather talking about when she was going on about salvation? Huh?? Shannon looked as confused as I was. I just hope that Shannon keeps her cool. Don't give Tamra and Heather the satisfaction of losing your shit. I felt bad for Lizzie when she was in the car for her birthday. I know it's important for the housewives to attend events, but obviously, there are often times that one or more are missing. I wonder what kind of absences production finds acceptable. If there is a trip involved, they always want everyone to attend. But, I suppose in the case of Lizzie's birthday, perhaps they saw more potential for drama if most of them didn't show up.
  16. One thing is for sure I think - there is no way Sonja is using a ghostwriter for her blogs. Those things are so nonsensical and crazy - just like her THs I think - that she has to be responsible for them.
  17. Loved LuAnn this year. What do you guys think accounts for how different Carole has acted toward LuAnn this year? Did they really just get started off on the wrong foot last year? Carole's perception of LuAnn appears to be completely different this year.
  18. Perhaps, but only if you ignore Don's charisma, charm, likeability (he lost me for a few seasons but he still is light years ahead of Josh), and good looks.
  19. Maybe he is speaking on behalf of Tamra/defending her "honor"? LOL, can't type that with a straight face.
  20. I was pretty bored last night. I was pretty close to fast forwarding through Amber's and the twins' scenes. Don't get me wrong, I didn't like Jaqueline, Caroline, or Kathy, but there is nothing about the new women that draws me in. Not even in a "they're so horrible, but I can't help but watch" kind of way. Hopefully, I'll find them more interesting as the season progresses. That said, I didn't find Teresa's, Dina's, or Melissa's scenes exciting either. Lackluster start to a season IMO.
  21. Wow, Heather and Tamra sure were disgusting in that preview - absolutely delighted that Shannon was so upset. And Heather feigning concern and being all "should we call an ambulance? I think she is having a psychotic break" was just gross. What a shitty creature. And even when Shannon came in to apologize and say goodnight, Tamra was STILL trying to stir shit and scream as Shannon was talking. Meanwhile, Heather had this totally psychotic and scary look on her face - she had this fake ass smile plastered on, mixed with "I'm so concerned for you" eyes and if anyone needed a mental health intervention that night, I think it was her. Yuck, those two women are toxic. And I guess even Heather thinks she kicked Shannon out of her home since she was proudly bragging about it to Danielle at the dinner table and explicitly used the phrase "kicked out." This feels very strange, but I was actually nodding along as Vicki spoke. What has the world come to? I really wish one of these women would go up against Tamra. Maybe Lizzie will? It seems like she knew what was up.
  22. I don't see the distinction. I think it is accurate that Shannon was kicked out of Heather's home. Also, we do know some things that Heather was lying about. The reason is because we see her talking heads/re-telling a story to one of the housewives, and then we also actually see a lot of the conversations she is referring to. When the two things are blatantly contradictory, it's a lie.
  23. Heather: Tamra. Would. NEVER. Lie. Vicki likely only made up that lie because Shannon yelled at her and got her to say it. Have I mentioned that Shannon is a raging, screaming alcoholic? But, I don't mean that in a gossipy way. I mean that in a I feel so so bad for such a pitiful soul kind of way because I am so generous and kind-hearted!
  24. David is sooo sexy. He is quite a bit older than me, but he looked soo good during this episode. Heather, Terry, and Tamra are horrible. Tamra is such a manipulative psycho. How could Heather say with a straight face that Tamra doesn't lie?! WTF, has she been in a coma for the past few years? That is all Tamra does. And the shit stirring was at an ultimate high tonight. Tamra was talking such shit behind Shannon's back on the balcony and then she wants to calm down her "friend" Shannon? GTFO, Tamra. Can someone please take her on? Forget about taking down the Beadors - someone, please anyone, take down Tamra. And she doesn't stop either. Next week's preview shows her continuing to talk shit about Shannon. Heather and Terry were practically drooling at being the center of all the drama. Terry couldn't wait to jump in there and he was definitely trying to provoke David. So inappropriate. And I HATE HATE HATE when people act all condescending and rude, and the second you defend yourself and speak sharply to them they're like: "Omg. Why are you acting soo crazy?!?! Shall we call the crazyhouse??? Do we need to get you a straight jacket?!?! Calm down!! Don't yell!!!! The horror!!!" And Heather, please, stop condescendingly. talking. like. this. She is so damn annoying - Bravo, please get rid of the Dubrows. If Vicki got involved, Tamra would have gotten called out on her lies. At this point, what needs to happen is the entire group needs to ice out Tamra. And then she needs to go away. Maybe Lizzie can be the ringleader?
