She is so out-of-her league if she's trying to sell make-up. Jinger seems like amateur compared to average make-up influencer. Maybe she's pregnant...😂🤣😝

@ChiCricket How are the conditions in Puerto Rico?

I guess it goes with the idea of "sheer blush" that the blush is invisible. That's what the ad is for: invisible blush. Seriously I'm supposed to spend money on blush that can't be seen. I don't wear make-up most of the time, but bush seems to be going out of style to some extent. A lot of women just go with moisturizer/foundation, lip gloss and mascara. If you want blush, you can probably just use any of those palettes people are selling. This blush reminds me of the Emperor's New Clothes. I wonder if Jinger knows that story.

This is the newest post from the Maxwell blog. I'm glad the surgery is scheduled. “And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in Thee.” Psalm 39:7 This journey has so often been one of waiting. And waiting. And more waiting. But as I read the above verse recently, I was reminded that our hope is not in tests, treatments, medical staff, surgeons, pathology reports, etc. Our hope is in the Lord! That said, we know that God often uses medical teams and are thankful to now have a surgery date set to remove my tumor on February 18th. We are going out of state to a surgeon who specializes in laser surgery. The children will all stay here in the care of Grandpa, Grandma, and the aunties to whom we are very thankful; handing over the care of six children ages seven and under is no small request, but I know it will be a special time for them! About a week or so after surgery we should have a complete pathology report. Thank you all so much for your prayers, encouragement, blog comments, etc. I wish I could respond to each of you individually but since time is limited—please know we have read and been encouraged by each one! I know you’ve been praying for us to have peaceful hearts and I can honestly say I have felt the Lord’s peace through this season of change and uncertainty. I still have some times of feeling emotional, yes, but they’re not times of despair or hopelessness. God is faithful; He has shown Himself faithful and He will not change Looking unto Jesus, Anna Marie

As far as I can tell, Counting On is up for renewal and may not be renewed for a new season. I was trying to see if they could be holding any announcements for the next season, but it's unclear if there will be another season. The ratings haven't been great, but they're kinda consistent from what I've seen. I do expect the show to go down, but not for another year or two.

You clearly need to minister the lost souls inside this place. Set up a Gofundme for this important work to help pay for breathing mask, the drinks, the food, etc.

Did we talk about David Waller's and Priscilla's trip to Africa? He did a blog post about it. So they left Florida and flew to Zambia, where John Shrader lives with his wife Esther Keller Shrader. John and Esther are missionairies there despite the fact Zambia is a very Christian country. This is quote is of what happened as they were leaving the airport. "Ministry is not a job that you do, but a life of giving, caring, loving and serving. There are no posted hours of operation, but each opportunity that the Lord brings across our path. We are so grateful for John’s alertness and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit in knowing when to take time to minister to those he comes in contact with. These luggage porters were grateful for the books of John and Romans that he gave each of them and for the time John took to explain the study resources that went with it." The luggage porters were doing their jobs at the time. ☹️ If you remember, Jill R did a post of the food that was gross to her. The picture was sent to Jill R by Nathan, who was on the trip. Here's what David W. said about the food on trip: "On Sunday, we had a special baptismal service followed by dinner on the grounds. Priscilla helped the ladies of the church and learned how they make their local staple–Nshima. It is basically a very thick cornmeal porridge." (next is the Jill R photo meal) "In addition to the local staple, they had some various other dishes that we ate. On the upper right is beans. Following clockwise, the next is some cabbage followed by fried caterpillars and finally some fried minnows. The last two are local favorites. Here is a bag of the dried caterpillars before they were fried. They actually have become a favorite of Priscilla’s sister Esther." And finally "We were very pleased with how brave our children were to try new things. They did quite well with the food overall. For the most part, we ate American foods, but when we were with the Zambians, we ate their foods." Then there's more about the "ministry" and how much they enjoyed themselves.

I doubt it's attachment parenting too. But since we're still talking about it, I wonder if Sam did something dangerous enough that even Jill and Derick are now worried about what he'd do unsupervised. Considering the amount of dangerous stuff they've photographed, it would have to be something even they couldn't ignore. Or Derick is just trolling us.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
Temperance replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
No Jed is older than Jer. @Sew Sumi beat me to it. Both sets of Duggar twins are alphabetical. Jana is older than John David. Jedidiah is older than Jeremiah. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of twins were like that and their parents did that consciously or unconsciously. -
Something is rotten in the state of Maxhell. Sarah put a random life today on the blog. The opening paragraphs contained this gem: "We shared with you all the news that Anna Marie likely has cancer. How are we dealing with it? We’re grateful we know Who holds all things in His hands. Yes, while what Anna Marie is facing is possibly very serious, none of us are guaranteed another day. I could be in a car accident tomorrow and ushered into the presence of Jesus. We are very prayerful for Anna Marie and being as supportive as we can with their needs while all the time looking to the Lord for what His will is." I don't know what to make of this. I don't why they don't know whether it's cancer or not. I don't why there are so many delays to scheduling treatment and coming up with a plan. I shared Saturday that Anna Marie had asked for prayers that her meeting with the surgeon would result in scheduling surgery. They have yet to say it's cancer, even though the first post a month ago said the surgeon was sure, but just waiting on pathology. Did the pathology results get lost in the mail? Only God knows.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events

Anna looks like her young sister Suze in that photo. -
I never got underwear as a gift wrapped for my birthday! I'm thanking my parents mentally for that. I'm an adult now and I don't think I want sexy underwear from a partner. I give Jessa points for trying something. It doesn't seem that great. I will defend Jessa from the rest of the family will/would/could/should pitch in. I never got gifts from extended family, other than a few cards. Sometimes I would have a party, and I would get gifts from friends. But most of the gifts came from my parents and sibling. Jessa does live near most of her family, but with so many family members. it wouldn't surprise me if they don't keep tract either. I guess Ben's family might be a little better, so there's that. As for friends, Jessa and her family were relatively isolated from other people. I wonder if Jessa or any other Duggar 19 had a birthday party with people their own age who weren't Duggars. My guess is that did not happen often or at all. If the Duggars are able to keep track of the birthdays now, I bet they won't ten years from now when there's at least 30-80 new people to remember. (I'm including daughters/sons-in-law in the count as well as new babies.)

At 2 and 1/2 years old, Sam would seem a little old for being worn, but if Jill, Derick and Sam are okay with it, it's none of my business.

Trace and Chaney: Vanilla Tears

Trace literally said Chaney called it off in his Instagram. It's posted above. I think Ashley is part African-American and not-Latina. I agree with a lot of your other points though. -

Everytime I see the baby Kynzie is holding her. She is now a full-fledged sister mom. Can someone with Instagram tell Anna to stop having babies if her ten-year-old has to raise them? -

I too doubt that. I doubt Boy George has crossed paths with many people who are currently 20 years old! -
The Maxwells just put up a prayer request for Anna Marie Maxwell. She is battling something that is probably cancer. The Maxwells have yet to admit its cancer, which is a bad sign. They have told us that it's probably cancer, but the doctor/surgeon was waiting for the pathology report to come back before he declared it cancer. That was a month ago. Today's post says she's meeting "a surgeon" on Monday to hopefully schedule surgery. It's sounds like it's not the same surgeon she met before, but I could be wrong. I don't why this is as hard as it is. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but none of this sounds good.

I don't think Kristen's daughter (seen in a photo) is under a year old. She looked older than that to me. I think she is still growing hair. Blonde/thin hair can take a while to grow in. After some internet research, the little girl is named Ava will be 2 in May and she has another child (boy) who was born in 2016. Nice that the women could get together. I hope the children not pictured are doing fun things.

I'm not sure why Dan quit. Did he actually say it was about the LGBTQ community?

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp
Temperance replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
As far as we know, however, none of them seem to have any trouble getting pregnant. Jill may be experiencing secondary infertility, but Derick has hinted he's not against taking precautions. Same goes for Jinger, Jeremy has hinted limiting his family size. As for Jessa, she did have a longer period between Henry and Ivy, but that may have to do with having two kids under 2 and breast-feeding. Joy also seems to get pregnant easily; it's too soon since her loss to know if she's slowed down at all. The Duggar daughters have had great difficulty with labor and delivery. I also have no idea what kind of care Joy gets. From this point, she should get high care since I believe her pregnancies will be high-risk. -

Among people I know, people who aren't trying to conceive, but aren't preventing get pregnant. -

Meagan Forsyth Ballinger is currently pregnant with #3 due in July. Her first kid turns 3 next month. Her 2nd daughter will be 2 in September. Austin's parents got married in their 30s. It's hard to say why they only have 2 kids. It could be biological. It also could be they went fundier as they got older. Jill Rod's parents weren't quiverfull, but taught their daughters to be quiverfull. I agree with you about Austin. I think he's very fundie and I doubt they'll stop having kids no matter the consequences. It's too soon to say whether they've stopped/slowed the baby train. If they go another six months without an announcement, I'll take it back.
