Zach's married to Whitney, so as an adult he should make his own decisions about breakfast. As for Katie and Travis, I can't remember whether the Bates rules are as dumb and infantile as the Duggars. Are they allowed to hold hands? Michelle would be freaked out by possible handholding. 🙄

Well for one thing, Jeremy and his arm are preventing us from seeing her body so it's possible the arm is trying to cover her. Also Jinger looks blissfully happy and yet she doesn't seem to be engaging with the rest of her family. She's not looking at Felicity or Jeremy. She seems to be looking down. As I said, this photo could just be trying to drive speculation. I just noticed a resemblance to Jana with her eyes looking down.

He signed MacArthur's petition, which was about lot more than just gay rights. MacArthur, in general, is anti-women, not just lesbians, bisexuals, etc. The basic point of the petition was that any group that feels marginalized for any reason should shut up and not mess up the good thing straight, cisgendered white men have going for them. I get he's talking about parenting, but still obnoxious to be bragging about "it being good" during a pandemic. Jinger looks pregnant or that picture and pose are meant to get people speculating.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events

I don't like the rustic look. It looks dirty. -
Joshua Bontrager is happy to oblige. He's writing two blog posts on the subject of the baby's name. (He also wrote blog posts about his first son's name when he was born.) Joshua dropped the first one today "5 Leadership Lessons From the Life of Winston Churchill". You can read the full post on the blog: JoshuaBontrager.com. Here's the introduction: "Born November 30, 1874, Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill possessed the determination of a bulldog. And well might he, for he was descended from one of Britain’s greatest generals, the daring, cunning, master-leader John Churchill, Duke of Marlborough (1650-1722). Of Winston Churchill, historian Paul Johnson writes, “No man did more to preserve freedom and democracy and the values we hold dear in the West.” Though Winston Churchill certainly had his faults, he must be ranked as one of history’s greatest leaders and profiles of courage. We named our son after this remarkable man, praying that our Winston will demonstrate the same attributes as he serves Christ. Here are five lessons from the life of Winston Churchill. " Basically both boys are named after men who depict leadership as their father sees them as aspiring leaders. They claim the "W" theme is accidental and won't necessarily be continued. Winston makes me think of Winston Smith, protagonist of 1984. I like the name well enough. The pretentious reasoning behind the names Winston and Wallace is too much, but the names are nice.

He looks like Richard Gere in the old photo! -
I'm quoting myself to so there's an explanation of who these people are. Cassidy gave birth to her second son Winston Marshall Bontrager yesterday(4/22/2020), but announced today (4/23). He joins older brother Wallace who is 21 months. Cassidy is married to third Bontrager son Joshua Bontrager. The boys both have W names, and are also named after prominant historical figures. Wallace Bradford is named after William Wallace and William Bradford. Winston Marshall is named after Winston Churchill and Peter Marshall ("a Scottish preacher who turned many to Jesus"). This is the Bontragers' 5th grandchild. They have two more on the way. This is the Bowers' third grandchild. They have one more on the way.

Her parents used all C names and Carolina has a brother named Carver. The Bowers seemed to use "C" names to honor the father named Curtis. The mother is named Lauren. The Bowers children started with the oldest children Carolina and Cassidy Bowers Bontrager. Then the boys are Charles "Charlie" , Carver, Christian, Crockett, Chapman, and Campbell. The youngest is a girl who goes by a nickname of her middle name Virginia. Her first name is Crosby.

It's hard to fight a natural part. Maybe he needs to learn to raise the eyebrow on the other side.

The Bontragers have a lot of news! Their son Carson and his wife Carolina are expecting their second child and due in August. This is their second child. Their daughter Jubilee will be 2 in July. Carson is the fourth Bontrager child and the second son. This is the seventh grandchild for the Bontragers. Their third son Joshua and his wife Cassidy are going to have their second child any day now. The baby was due on Sunday. Their son Wallace will be 2 in July the day after his cousin Jubilee (see above). This is the 5th grandchild in the Bontrager family. Cassidy and Carolina Bontrager are actually sisters! Their maiden name is Bowers. The Bowers are a family of nine with similar beliefs to the Bontragers and other fundies. They make propaganda and are grifters. Carolina is the oldest and Cassidy is the second oldest. After them come six boys. All of them have names that start with C. None of the boys are married in part, because like many fundie boys, they aren't ready to support a family financially. Chelsy Maxwell is also Bontrager. Her grandchild will be the sixth for her parents. Cassidy and Joshua are having a baby soon, Chelsy and John are having a baby in June and Carolina and Carson are due in August.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

Once again these people, who have been blatantly ignoring social distancing, come off good hiding behind their cute kid. These are some of the worst fundies, because they make fundamentalism look good. -
Crankiness seems to be in the air. I'm in a bad mood after seeing all those damn social distancing protesters. 🤬 I won't say more, but just everyone should have cause to be mad.

This could go into many threads. The Caldwells, allegedly being a**holes, allegedly held a church service for congregants and not a livestream. Among other congregants, rumored to be there included Joe Duggar and family, Josh Duggar and family, and Jim Bob Duggar and family. It's not clear if any other family members attended (meaning Si and family, Austin and family, etc.). John David and Abbie usually attend a different church as do Jill and Derick. This could be internet rumor, but it sounds likely. I hope no harm comes to any minor children. Other than that, I have little sympathy for those not social distancing.

I hope his next scandal doesn't include more abuse of innocents. I also think he may have relapsed and done something like looking at porn again, because I was sure he was going to try to comeback a few years ago and it looked like maybe it was going to happen. Now he's more in the background than ever. I get the sense Josh may still be a porn-again Christian -
Yeah, that's good to know. It reminds me of the blog post Chelsy Bontrager Maxwell did for Axton's first birthday. "The actual "cake smash" situation didn't go quite as planned. The sticky frosting was quite frustrating for him (see above, him trying to "fling" it off his fingers) and he wasn't even interested in getting to the actual cupcake. I guess the prior training to keep hands clean and not touch his food had been very successful! 😃 He loved dinner though, so even though the cake wasn't such a hit, it was okay!" Given this is Chelsy, it says more about the Bontrager than the Maxwells. Yes I agreee with this too. With Janessa, there's a bigger age gap between her and most of the other kids which makes her seem even more of a baby.

She lost the last one at 20 weeks. She's one week past currently where she lost the last one. -
Alyssa's youngest turned two years old a couple weeks ago. I'm happy for Alyssa that she has yet to announce another pregnancy, especially with her heart problems.

I've mentioned this on the Duggar threads, but as far as I know, FitFabFun doesn' t pay anything. You get to keep the box of stuff and you don't pay for your box. It's possible they've changed the rules since then, but that used to be the policy. Since most of their influencers loved the stuff and didn't have to pay, it was worth it for them.

It's hopefully temporary. People will want pork, ham, etc. especially after a shortage. The jobs will be there when it's safe to re-open. I hope the employees who tested positive are okay and that it didn't spread too much.

Smithfields in South Dakota.

If she missed her ham yesterday, it may get worse. One of the largest pork processing places in the country shut down until further notice, because an employee tested positive for the virus.
