  1. A lot of people have been predicting the wedding soon before her birthday Saturday February 27th. Claire is 19 and will be 20 next week on Saturday. I'm now wondering if the storms in the south will effect their ability to have the wedding. The registry says April 16th, but the Duggars are notorious for using fake dates.
  2. No, Jessa hemorrhaged twice. Why not say it happened three times? Why not have different daughters with the same problem? JB wasn't even there when she hemorrhaged. It didn't make them look good. JB's goal is to make his family and lifestyle look appealing so other people want to be fundie Christians.
  3. Both of those names are trendy and I'm not sure why. Hazel is traditional, but also was the heroine of The Fault in Our Stars by John Greene (also a movie). Sloane isn't my style. That being said Hazel Sloane Balka is a fine name and will probably age well.
  4. These kind of look like his weights, but not quite.
  5. But it's also common among fundies. My mother knew fundies who were having homebirths in the 1980s. I believe Gothard favored them too. Gothard in general favored anything that kept the costs down. (Except birth control, obviously, lol!)
  6. Well I'm not surprised. It's been a long time since Jessa announced. Ivy is almost 2. I saw other speculation that Justin and Claire are getting married sooner than later. If the wedding is soon, Jessa may have announced, because people will know when they see the photos. Kendra announced this pregnancy (#3) on Joy's due date. Joy gave birth to Evelyn two days later. The Duggar family publicity machine likes to time announcements close together. Jessa's history of hemorrhaging makes homebirth incredibly risky. Even a hospital birth can have big risks for Jessa. The first birth (Spurgeon) should have stopped the homebirth idiocy; Jessa hemorrhaged so badly she needed a blood transfusion. Henry's birth went well. During Ivy's birth, Jessa hemorrhaged again, but made it to the hospital to avoid a blood transfusion. Jessa has said she likes her house, because it's convenient to get to a hospital. (20 minute ambulance ride). I forget if this is true. @Zella what do you think? Jessa really needs to give birth in a hospital. I hope she takes this seriously, because her life is at stake.
  7. It's not a tropical vacation like they're used to. The Duggar boys don't do cold.
  8. Where are these confessions from? As for the confessions themselves, I think someone is trolling us.
  9. The announcement photo is full length and she doesn't look pregnant, (especially not five months). Here is her Instagram.
  10. It was a terrible accident, although JB seemed to think it was an act of God.
  11. Yes I watched the same video. Austin and his brother-in-law Bobby Ballinger were saved. They were drinking and smoking, but got saved. Their friends didn't get saved and had bad things happened to them. One of them went to jail or prison and another gauged his eye out with a screwdriver. (I never forgot that detail.) JB and Michelle were quick to point out bad things happened from people who weren't the right kind of Christians. The video was from early 2019. I gave a full synopsis on it at the time. It's still there! That's the link. @GeeGolly will want to see it.
  12. Allison Bontrager Helferich is pregnant! She posted the news on Instagram: She and her husband Jeremiah married last August. baby is probably due early June and late May. Allison is currently 26 and she'll be 27 in May. She looks really skinny so it's hard to tell she's pregnant and halfway through a pregnancy. Her parents, Marlin and Becky Bontrager have 8 grandchildren and this one will be number 9. Her brother Denver and her sister-in-law Praise Helferich are getting married in March.
  13. Probably back episodes/seasons and recently aired ones would be put on Plus. I don't think they'd stop airing the new episodes on TLC. Probably you'll have the option of watching them on television, streaming on-line, and finding them on Plus.
  14. Jill has escaped imo. God, if it's true, what a sad, terrible thing to say about those kids! I think Jessa wanted to move out and start adult. The only people I know who got married that young were fundies themselves. I wish I was on a beach like that.
  15. It's a nasty break too. They included the x-ray photos. Both bones completely snapped.
  16. I wouldn't be surprised if these two end up miserable, especially if the baby train picks up speed.
  17. No, as far as we know the baby is being called Brady (his first name). Richard is the middle name. I always thought Derick was partly named after his dad, since Richard Dillard went by Rick. (Rick ---> Derick).
  18. So Kendra is due sometime at the end of February. Since there are two weeks left, she is 38 weeks pregnant.
  19. Who's the guy in the American flag hat? Why is Michelle bothering with a mask when her sons who she lives with aren't? I guess Michelle on social distancing from the minors who live with her. She's been doing that for years. On the other hand, he's not going to school. He'll have the same Duggar family diploma they all have.
  20. I kind of agree with this, but millions of small children probably did watch the Flintstones from a young age and turn out fine.
  21. Sarah Maxwell had a concussion last year in June. She was dealing headaches, dizziness, etc. She was starting to feel much better when she recently hit her head again. I hope she gets better.
  22. On the Benessa thread, people are speculating Anna is pregnant again based on her appearance at Spurgeon's birthday party. She announced quite early with Maryella. I thought no one was stupid enough to pay Anna for a pregnancy announcement. Maybe there is a group announcement in the works.
