  1. Meh. It was decent for a pilot, had one character that hooked me (David) but it sucked as a Supernatural spin-off. Not sure if it'll get picked up, if it does I'll give it another try just to see if they made any tweaks that could improve the show.
  2. The Mother never seemed to be that important in the conversation, my mother is my mother...nothing big about that IMO. She's probably just some normal maybe slightly overbearing mother. But the big things in that comment seemed to be about Felicity's father and losing someone close to her again. I think that's why people keep focusing on Father/Losing Oliver combo.
  3. IIRC, they said the conversation would come back in two big ways. That's way the main speculation always lead to Felicity's father being Ivo or Slade or someone else from the Island that Oliver killed/knew, etc. For example one of the big ones is that Ivo is Felicity's father, Oliver knew all along and that will result in Felicity losing Oliver, etc. Or that Slade is Felicity's father and Oliver kills him in the finale which results in Felicity losing both her father and Oliver However, it's entirely possible that the 2 Big Ways aren't related. For example we could have the losing Oliver totally independent of her father coming back/being revealed etc. There's only 3 episodes left, I don't think any of those hints about Felicity's father that are going to show this has been planned since S1 have come to light yet. So it's entirely possible that the producers are full of shit.
  4. So glad Rollo is alive and that Athelstan is back with the Vikings...although I'll miss his time with Ecbert. I swear when Ecbert found the cross and books and realized Athelstan had left I thought he was going to have a bit of a fit. All I could think was Athelstan has some way about him, he got both Ecbert and Ragnar to be his BFF. I'm so not digging Horik and Floki they both need to die...can't stand them. I'm worried about Siggy, I really like her and I don't want her to betray Rollo/Ragnar, girl needs to stay on the right side of this fight.
  5. Best Lead Performance by a Male in a Dramatic Series: Stephen Amell, Arrow - Crucible Stephen was nominated for a Leo Award
  6. Best Lead Performance by a Female in a Dramatic Series: Emily Bett Rickards, Arrow - Three Ghosts Emily was nominated for a Leo Award...ceremony is in May.
  7. Oh fun Sit-Com...My 3 Psychos. Deadshot can show up as the snarky uncle Or add in Harley Quinn as the mom and we can have a soap...All My Psychos...
  8. I liked this episode, although I still can't get into the Werewolf story and I'm tired of them over compensating with Hayley, trying to force her into the lead role is just not working for me.
  9. I love Digg, I really hope he plays a big part in the final 4 episodes. I'm also disappointed we never got to see Dig training Felicity, I really love the friendship that's been developing between those two.
  10. If they've brought her back I can't find any reference to it online. Green Arrow just brought Vertigo, Shado and The Clock King back in 2013 (2 years after the reboot) so it's not surprising that a tiritiary character hasn't been reborn yet. On the show I gave up hope that Felicity would be normal when they said her backstory had to be pushed to S3 and the fact that they keep talking it up. It could be total BS but I resigned to the fact that her father will be a villain and probably sometime ridiculous like Slade, Ivo or Fryers.
  11. Felicity Smoak doesn't exist in the current comics, she was never brought back after the Flashpoint Reboot (as far as I know) so she could be whatever DC wants. Point of Reference: Here's the original Clock King - http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081213045519/batman/images/e/ed/Clock_King.png Here's the new 52 Clock King - http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/scale_small/6/66303/3154372-screen+shot+2013-07-05+at+4.21.52+pm.png If DC wants to capitalize on Arrow's fanbase they could bring her into the Green Arrow title as she is on the show, assuming Jeff Lemiere is willing, he's already got Naomi and Fyff so who knows? I haven't found any recent comments from Lemiere on the subject; it's possible that he's going to do it in some form, it's possible it's all wishful thinking on the part of the fans.
  12. Katana and Richard Dragon were brought into the title during the Outsiders War story. As far as Felicity, I really don't know, could be wishful thinking could be something he's said recently. I agree that Naomi serves a similar function which is why I don't think you can have both at the same time. However a flashback with Felicity being part of the original Team Green Arrow (like Diggle) would make sense.
  13. So far it's just a rumor, in the comics Oliver already has 2 characters that fill the felicity role. I have no idea if or how she'll be included but there is talk that Jeff Lemiere is interested. Jeff Lemiere is also planning Moira flashbacks and bringing Tommy into the story (he's not dead in the comics).
  14. This is just a rumor but apparently there is talk going around the comicbook community, that Jeff Lemiere (current writer of Green Arrow 52 Title) is planning on bringing Felicity into the Title. Diggle has been slowly integrated and it looks like he's going to play a big part in the next story arc. The big problem is Naomi and Fyffe, they essentially do what Felicity does on the show, so Felicity isn't really needed on Team GA unless one or both die or leave the team. So I really don't know if it's true or just talk, but it would be interesting to see how much influence Arrow has on the comics.
  15. Pretty sure Andrea on The Walking Dead was a direct result of fan hatred although that's never been confirmed. That also is a direct deviation from canon, as Andrea is a major character that's still alive in the comics and I'm pretty sure the show just moved Michone into Andrea's spot as they're building up Rick/Michone on the show but the comics went Rick/Andrea.
  16. I'm being lazy, just C&P my post from TWOP I'm not invested in the werewolf story-line other than to figure out Klaus' true intentions/motivations...which seems to be to make the Werewolves more powerful...perhaps a new family to replace the one that abandoned him? I can't help but feel that his actions are directly related to the knowledge that Bex brought Mikael to town back in the 1900s. I forgot to ask, have the rules for Werewolves changed? I only watch Vampire Diaries occasionally so I've missed a bunch of stuff but I thought Werewolves were heredity traits but you didn't turn unless you killed someone. Are all those werewolves coming to visit Queen Haley actual werewolves or just raised in the family/pack but haven't killed? I'm really digging Genevieve's storyline as well, I find her really interesting and love her scenes with Klaus, two master manipulator's trying to play each other, it's highly entertaining to watch. I'm curious as to how Elijah's character arc is playing out, I'm a huge fan of symmetry and I'm curious to see if they're going to have Elijah go dark while Klaus becomes more Nobel/heroic. It's a nice play on the two brothers and the roles they play, how entwined they are and how much each impact's the other. IMO the best part of the series is the sibling relationship and how the feed into each other's issues.
  17. I liked it, I'm glad they left the door open that the real Gabriel might be alive somewhere. I loved how the actor played Gabriel, at first he came across as Gabriel/Trickster but as he was on screen he slowly started to sound off to the point that I (sadly) realized it wasn't real. I also really enjoy Tahmoh Penikett's performance as Gadreel, he's much better in the role than JP. I like all the layers we're getting with Gadreel now. It was obvious in the Dean/Gadreel scene that at least part it was self motivated, not only did he want to die but he was it was his own fear of being left alone that he was projecting onto Dean. I also found the talk at the end between Gadreel/Metatron to be really interesting, I kept waiting for one of them to betray the other. I'm still not really feeling Castiel's story this season, I just don't care that much about the Angels but I liked his interaction with both Sam and Dean, especially the end scene where he figured out the Mark of Cain.
  18. I should know this, they gave Dinah'so backstory in BoP #25. I want to say they're close in age, both in the mid to late 20s. Dinah's husband Kurt, is comatosed but she certainly does love him.
  19. Yeah that's why I don't think it's Walter. Walter would have more of an impact on the audience than Raisa but Raisa would be more of an emotional hit to Oliver than Walter. I agree with BkWurm, both Raisa and Walter are pretty much cop outs, it allows them to kill a character but not really impact anything. Of course these are the same guys who killed Tommy last season so it's not like they're afraid to make a big sacrifice. However out of all the Main Characters left the only ones that I could see being killed off are the ones I like the most...just like Tommy. So if it's a choice between Walter, Raisa or a character I love...I say go with the cop out. :D Of course the truly funny thing would be if no one (aside from bad guys) were to die this season. I don't know why shows and fans feel the need to kill off a character every season just to be edgy or daring. Canadagraphs apparently confirmed that someone on Arrow dies, he wouldn't say who so it could be Moira, could be Raisa or another Red Shirt.
  20. Some people are speculating that it's Walter, since we know Colin Salmon flew back and filmed a scene for episode 21. However, I don't think that has that much more of an impact than Raisa. I know that both Raisa and Walter being back in 20/21 kind of supports the idea that Moira is the one that bites it but ST taking the picture with the cast in 23 might mean Moira is still alive, unless it's a flashback or something.
  21. Oh crap, I just had a horrible idea...Raisa's a Red Shirt....she comes back in 20 and in 21 Oliver wants to surrender to stop further blood shed?! There's a selfie that the cast took during filming of 2.23 it has Moira in it, it's possible that she's still alive, unless she's filming a flashback scene.
  22. SA mentioned at a con that 21-23 take place over the course of single day. We know that 22 has Team Arrow (Oliver, Diggle and Felicity) running up hills and shooting on a bridge together. We also know from a James Bamber tweet that Oliver/Felicity have a stunt together in 23 that they were practicing, it involves the two of them together on a zipline.
  23. Episode 21 "City of Blood" description
  24. They kind of retcon'd that in Year One with Oliver being betrayed by a close friend and ending up on The Island run by China White and learns to be a hero. They've also done some traumatic background in the New 52, ...I know there is spoiler in the title but this just happened 2 issues ago so I figured I'd be a little extra cautious. I don't know if it's Arrow moving towards 52 or 52 moving towards Arrow but the characters are very similar, although 52 Arrow is still a little lighter and has more of a "fuck it" attitude. Arrow's Oliver seems more the mopey, tortured/tragic brooding hero...that I generally don't enjoy. Probably why I love Felicity so much, she adds a much needed spark/comedic tone to the Arrow Lair.
