  1. That is assuming they have bread, which is a huge assumption. Seriously, I am white but I grew up in Seattle with a ton of Asian Ameican friends and bread and sandwich fixings wasn't something that many of them regularly had on hand. Not trying to say they hadn't ever seen bread but it simple wasn't a basic food staple in their homes. Udon? Kimchi? Rice? Etc. Yes, depending on their nationality but sandwich bread wasn't a staple for many. Heck, my freshman roommate (Japanese) in college thought it was weird that we had milk for cereal in our little fridge. And that isn't even going into the notion that spans different ethnic groups that children can make their own school lunches.
  2. I am not defending the use of the word "chink" but it wasn't just like Walter said it at the first moment he met Eddie, he reluctantly shared his table with him and then as soon as their hip-hop conversation got Eddie a seat at the popular white kids table he left without a word to the one dude who cautiously allowed him to sit with him. It wasn't just that he was on the bottom rung, Eddie bailed on him the first chance he got. It was only later when Eddie tried to make him feel like he wasn't good enough that he used the slur.
  3. The trail of blood seemed to me to be stupid and took more time than its was worth. If Kono didn't waste time doing that she might have got a call through (not that it was necessary); it took Kono longer to draw the blood and plant it than it took it for Ramon to follow it and she still found her way to the laundry room where xhbit was hiding and find her way to Kono.
  4. Given how upset some of the kids were in the latest episode about having to move to new rooms away from her room, it didn't appear that they never set foot in there aren't weren't allowed to go in their if they were scared/sick.
  5. There are differing reports about if she hit the Prius before or after Bruce hit her and she went into on-coming traffic. It's all so early to tell what actually happened.
  6. Hakeem also physically provoked Jamal by shoving him before Jamal punched him.
  7. Having them on speed dial and informing them where you are means they don't have to chase you. I don't see how this has anything to do with Kim. Who knows if Bruce was driving recklessly or not at this point but that would be on him and the paps, not Kim.
  8. The cops said they shouldn't because they felt that his intent wasn't there but Barba was planning on doing it because he felt the charge was justified. Basically the cops felt sorry for the dad from the start and thought they shouldn't charge him so harshly because of the circumstances, in the end it isn't up to them. They cops also wondered if he would get off beause at that point they weren't sure the guy wasn't guilty so he might get off with jury nullification.
  9. They could have charged him with murder and were going to even though they knew that he tried to revive him and called 911; however, they decided to be lenient when they realized that his brother-in-law had manipulated him into kidnapping the guy to cover his crime.
  10. It's enitely possible he enjoys being on the show but also having a high IQ doesn't make someone an expert in contract law.
  11. What was even more ludicrous is that I am pretty certain when they were questioning him they said they had a bunch of witnesses, so you would think even these nimrods would have been important to nail down this party witness testimony even if he was guilty.
  12. No, it was just a vaporizer pen for pot; hence the "wake and bake" comment by Carisi.
  13. I totally thought Adam was doomed when he ordered those pastries and that was going to be Kono's last memory of him!
  14. Kevin Sbraga the winner from Top Chef DC IS African American.
  15. This is in no way accurate, she won three elimination challenges and was shown being in the top two of many other elimination challenges. She was only in the bottom of an EC once and rarely in the middle.
  16. It appeared he basically melted chocolate with mezcal, that is simply sad.
  17. Is this show getting kickbacks from the Caribbean medical school industry?
  18. Completely random but does anyone know what Tymberlee's shirt was about? I thought it was adorable.
  19. I believe she called them all collectively monsters.Nicey-meany is joining awesomesauce in my Andy Dwyer based vocabulary. I did love how diverse the Meagles were. Plus, her dad was on 227!
  20. When did JJ leave Pawnee? Also, Joelle rocked the hell out of this episode.
  21. Apparently, the reason that JJ's was in trouble was because he spent the past three years living in Pawnee under a different name.
  22. Unfortunately, Jason Rezaian is still in jail.
  23. Leonard totally reminds me of Johnny Weir.
  24. Yes, he was so delusional but so was his "friend" who apparently talked to him over the course of a year about murdering his wife had her credit card info and keys to her car and house and only then decided to go to bring it to her divorce attorney. His brother was also a piece of work as well, he acknowledged he heard the tapes, he still said she brought it all on herself. I don't care if she was a straight up gold digging bitch from hell she didn't deserve to have some one coldly calculating her murder.
  25. Geraldine McEwan dies at 82.
