  1. I think that's a core practice of standard Mormons too, a year's supply. Armageddon or just basic problems for which you would need supplies (loss of job, pandemic, etc.).
  2. I used to think andreiiiii was a hottie but he's lost his charisma. Worse, he is rude and mean to Libby. Is this an act?
  3. Thank you all for the interesting discussion of disabilities and accommodations. I have learned a lot and will be more aware.
  4. to be fair, I could do it 😋
  5. thank you. I eye rolled at this and said the same to my husband.
  6. Dammit kody, don't make me agree with you.
  7. Not trying to be rude, but they are not getting a divorce. They are not married. She merely needs to walk away.
  8. Robyns oldest kids are old enough to NOT be confused about Christine leaving 🙄
  9. Janelle, please clear your throat.
  10. Kody can't store things in Meris house? Why? Why can't he speak to his baby mommas and help Janelle out? Why would any of those women care if janelles RV is parked on their plot for a few months? These are the most uncooperative adults!
  11. Yep. I've believed from episode 1 that this is non-biblical, they are totally wrong, I don't understand why women would sign up for this, etc., etc., but figured, well, that's what they want anyway. And I have been fascinated by it. But Kooty getting upset about Christine leaving really points out how he's been doing it all wrong. It shows how HE shows preference of one wife over another, which I doubt is the way it's "supposed" to be done. He has neglected the emotional lives of various wives, again not how it's supposed to be done. A patriarch should be attentive to all the needs of all wives, emotional, financial, physical, yet he has failed on all these fronts. Surely there are polygamist families also watching this show who are shaking their heads in disbelief.
  12. that's how I've always seen it. Her affair didn't happen in a vacuum. And he learned nothing from it.
  13. I have never watched this show before. Wtf am I seeing! Mom and daughter bathing together!!! I could barf.
  14. interesting. As for her eyebrows, it is very common for thyroid issues to thin out eyebrows. Wonder if she is compensating for that. She's overdoing it, but that might be the root of the problem.
  15. Oh, thank you. Now that you mention it, it is the huge motor homes my in laws have ($$$$$), not a 5th wheel.
  16. Here's a wild, money-wise thought...how about Janelle live with one of her sister wives and save a half million dollars.
  17. So, I'm obsessed with the idea of living in a camper. But I'm poor and can't do it. My in-laws are rolling in dough and have 2 of the huge ones, like Janelle's getting. Yes, there's plenty of room to live in full time. So here's my estimates. Janelle's is new, so say $300,000 to $450,000. Then a truck big enough to pull it! Add another $60,000 minimum. Are my estimates off? HOW THE HELL MUCH DO THESE PEOPLE MAKE????
  18. The major points for me: 1. You do not babysit your own kids. 2. Now utterly self-centered to think that Ysabel is moving away to NC BECAUSE OF HIM. The universe does not revolve around you Cooty. 3. Cooty saying that he and Christine should be working on their problems, not her leaving. Idiot, she's been trying to do that for a freaking decade.
  19. Thanks. I then checked and Audrey is also transgender.
  20. Leon? Yes this. But also, I'm glad it was finally SPOKEN (by Kody no less) that there is nothing there with Meri and she's fine with it. What a dipshit to think she is fine with that arrangement. And Janelle's name didn't come up at all, which I found interesting. I cannot believe that they are "intimate" either so is she cool with that? I am glad that Christine had the full conversation with him. It showed us exactly how manipulative and cold he truly is. Because really, it could have been covered with "fuck you and the goat you road in on."
  21. isn't ladies just the female version of gentlemen? Is it sexist to call men gentlemen? agreed. My former boss, who has retired, would absolutely try to take control if she were contacted with a project.
  22. Sorry, as a hospital employee, Leah fixing the iron lung really bugged me. There are entire Biomechanical Departments that specifically do stuff like this and have reports to file, etc. They would NOT have the IT person fixing it. Yeah, it's fiction and they have to give her some reason to be on screen, but please, not this nonsense. Count me as one who didn't think what Glassman said was sexist. Let's reserve the sexist label for actual instances. As for the iron lung breaking and OH NO WHAT DO WE DO!!!! The portable version (like a vest, as seen) has been available for a long time and there are other options too, so this was nonsense. Not a fan of this episode.
