  1. you got one. I watched this series for the first time beginning only a few weeks ago, finished last night. I loved the series but the finale just floored me. I'm still pondering it. I liked the George and Ruth arc the best I think. Got fed up with Claire's wide eyed, wobbly style of acting. But yeah, the finale. Sublime.
  2. Could be a perm 😏 but what's with the different eye color?
  3. Sorry to requote your entire post, it's just the easiest way for me to say....I agree with every point. But wait! There's more. What's the deal with young jeff having dark brown eyes but adult jeff (aka Gideon) having piercing blue eyes??? Is there a point to that or simply poor casting? Ben and Addison have zero chemistry. Ben and Hannah were great. Ian and Ben are my favorite characters. I'd watch a show with just them (and time travel of course).
  4. and considering his looks, what level cousin he is in the Brown fambly tree. My happiness for Meri and admiration for her classiness in waiting to announce are both far too intense for a mere member of the viewing public to feel. LOL. It makes me want to join whatever she's on to congratulate her personally....almost. Hope she reads this forum so she knows that we are happy for her.
  5. Your, youse, y'all....all fine by me. What I can't stand is subbing in a F or V for the TH sound. I watch a lot of British youtubers and it is chronic. I have to translate some things in my head with context (i.e. free is three! WTF?). It's like razors in my ears. So the Browns' use of dill for deal, rill for real...meh, never bothered me.
  6. to be honest, being a "little" inebriated is my favorite thing. LOL
  7. I thought Kody was sincere in his best wishes. Robyn was on the edge of her seat waiting for something oafish to come out of his mouth. LOL. ETA, Until somebody in the family said it I hadn't realized it....Christine will be the one who will be sitting on her porch with the love of her life, surrounding by a huge and growing family. Just beautiful. And ironic.
  8. She only wants a llama to throw another monkey wrench into the works so she can get pissed and escape.
  9. maybe she married? That was be awesome.
  10. I LOVE that your post is long and only about their ridiculous eyebrows. My husband watches shows (not this one) and is always confused by the eyebrows. LOL.
  11. after reading the above comments about Christine's rosy colored view of love, I too am very very happy for her but hope that they are still happy 5 years from now. I sincerely hope that for her.
  12. I'm surprised due to her uber-religious background. I get that she's changed, didn't realize she had changed that much.
  13. anybody else surprised that Christine and David have been cohabitating!? No? Just me?
  14. the unfortunate fact of panic disorders is that there sometimes is no reason. Yes! Thank you for saying that Jenn!
  15. I have had panic attacks too, life affecting due to them, and thankfully meds are working perfectly for me. I do NOT see panic in her either. I see manipulation.
  16. Ooops, I just remembered another thought. The business about Kody's sacred covenant with Robyn, that if he loses his love for her he'll leave her, won't keep her in a loveless marriage. That's NOT what I want from MY sacred covenant with my husband. I want him to stay through the loveless times as well as the love times because, as Janelle pointed out, there's that in every marriage. If commitment is only for the good times, well, you don't need commitment for that.
  17. This was a great episode. I don't have much to add to these already insightful comments. But my 2 cents. Meri is rockin' it! She is looking great and her personality is shining. GOOD FOR HER!!!! Next, I'm really glad to see that THEY see what WE see. Sure, maybe they didn't all along, but they see it all clearly now. The shock on Meri's face, though, when it dawned on her that Kody was already over her before her married Sobbyn....I'm sure that was hard but it was necessary. Finally, I think this show has been good for Christine. She has become the person she would have been if she had lived a normal life and not a sheltered plyg. She was raised to be a doormat and would have continued to be one had this show not come along and given her experiences, exposure and outsider opinions. She's certainly a lot snarkier than when we met her, but that's okay. Basically, she's now like everybody I know. I am REALLY thrilled for the OG3 and will definitely tune in for more if available.
  18. I, for one, NEVER gave him a pass for this. It's 99.99% on him. I think she actually was.
  19. self soothing behavior. She's miserable. Honestly, I'm all in. These were enjoyable.
