  1. Wasn't there a time that a person could get infected if they got SCRATCHED by a walker? ETA: Sorry, I meant they would turn if they got scratched by a walker.
  2. Zeke is worried about HER? Maybe he should spend a little time worrying about the people Carol's stupid, SELFISH ass got trapped in the cave.
  3. True. I know the Whisperers are supposed to be the scariest things EVER but they just look so stupid. I'm surprised the walkers aren't laughing at them. How much longer is this show going to waste on these losers?
  4. I'm glad that this episode takes place in the daytime. I'm sick of watching a show that refuses to hire a lighting crew.
  5. It looks like Daryl's off the hook and Carol needs an ego boost. So she screws Ezekiel. Zeke deserves better; that bitch is only going to break his heart again. I wish the show had stuck to the comics and put Michonne and Zeke together. She would have been a wonderful, LOYAL queen. Rick and Carol would have made a perfect couple. Birds of a feather.
  6. I Know exactly what you mean. I think a mentorship would be wasted on Geoffrey because I don't believe he has the discipline or the work ethic to take full advantage of it. He should have more to offer than being a 'sweet guy' who's nice to Nancy. I missed a lot of the other designers when I saw what the top four had to offer. Sergio, Nancy, Victoria and Geoffrey aren't anywhere near the most talented designers this season. They're just the ones with the best stories and the most drama. It's a sad state of affairs. I remember that we didn't hear Chelsey speak for 2 or 3 episodes. I kept wondering who that cool looking Black woman was in the background but the producers were more interested in drama. Delvin committed the capital crime of daring to say something mean about Miss Nancy but he did have talent. I remember him saying that he was dealing with some mental and emotional issues. If he had only thrown himself on the floor and wailed about his painful past, he might be in the finale. Marquise had a very interesting story about being self-taught and coming up in the ballroom scene but he was too quiet and dignified, so bye bye Marquise.
  7. Victoria's got big hair. I love the fact that she wears her hair the way it grows out of her head. Maybe it's because I'm a Black woman and have been told my whole life that my hair wasn't good enough. The problem with the Nancy's model hair is that she looked like she was a back up singer for Bon Jovi.
  8. Well said. Sergio's is a legend in his own mind. Self-confidence is a good thing but Sergio is bordering on meglomania. He's going to 'save the world, one dress at a time'? Sergio is a contestant on a REALITY SHOW! If he was cutting such a swath with the middle-aged ladies of New York, he wouldn't need to be on Project Runway. This has been such a sad little season. The fact that at least two of the contestants are front runners because people think they're 'nice' is pathetic. Taking off the cowl on Nancy's dress was a perfect example. Without the cowl the dress is nothing. You could get a Simplicity pattern to make the exact same dress, just like you could get a Kwik Sew pattern to make Nancy's signature pants. I thought the model in the pantsuit looked exactly like Geena Davis in a movie from the 80s. And the most special thing about the differently-abled model was that she was a beautiful woman in a wheelchair. Nancy USED the model for her disability to score brownie points and then put the poor woman in some drab, boring frock. Gregory should go home. He's milked his bad relationship with his father for the entire season, only to find out last night that actually he and his dad are getting along quite well and his dad is really proud of him. So what were all those tears about, Geoffrey? He's replaced drama for design and it's a poor substitute. The best thing about Victoria is her lovely husband.
  9. For real. Marquise and even Brittany were sorely missed. They might not be the best tailors but they brought imagination and, dare I say it, JOY to the proceedings and both were sadly lacking tonight. Edited to add: I'm so glad that the head of the CFDA told Sergio he wasn't buying the 'message' bullshit. And I laughed my ass off while Sergio tried to tack some message on the fact that he didn't know his fabric was too sheer and the model's knickers could be seen. I give the judges credit for not laughing in his face.
  10. I think Sergio was the best of the lot. That faint praise indeed because that was one of the saddest finales I've ever seen. Nancy gets credit for 'inclusivity' but I have to ask if she would have ever considered using a differently-abled model if she hadn't gotten so much mileage out of it when she was ASSIGNED an athlete in a wheelchair. And DeeDee makes whatever she wears look like a million bucks. Geoffrey should be sent home.
  11. Geoffrey's not going to stop doing what got him in the finals. These are the most gimmicky designers EVER. All of them are about something other than the clothes they send down the runway.
  12. I just don't understand how these boring ass, DRY designers made it to the final. There's barely a smidgen of inspiration among the four of them. My heart hurt for Geoffrey's models and they had to try and make those monstrous dresses AND puffer jackets(?) look good. Victoria is a cavalcade of beige. Nancy clothes are as dour and uninteresting as she is. Sergio is all about the past. Boring as hell.
  13. Geoffrey should be embarrassed to be making all those fucking excuses. He's been given a great opportunity and it seems he's spent his time focusing on DRAMA. As usual.
  14. Victoria's husband seems like a very nice man. He deserves better.
  15. I don't blame Michonne one bit for taking the first thing smoking out of that place She's spent SIX YEARS being the Widow Grimes, devoting her life to keeping a bunch of knuckleheads safe and raising Rick Grimes' kids. Her daughter imprints on every sociopath that gets tossed in Alexandria's jail. NOBODY remember her little boy. Everyone has paired off. Carol's even tossing aside good looking men who love her. Even EUGENE is getting some long-distance play. Why shouldn't Michonne take up with the first likely brother that comes along and get the fuck out of Dodge?
  16. Just to be clear, when I said that Sergio wasn't accused of cultural appropriation, I was referring to the critique he received from the judges. I think there is a good argument to be made for cultural appropriation and Sergio, it just wasn't made on the show. And I agree, nobody has been SCREAMING. But to some, the slightest whisper from people who are traditionally disenfranchised can feel like a scream.
  17. What happened to the bad guys on this show? I'd kill for the Governor to return Or even the hipster-cannibals Now all we get are these assholes that WON'T STOP TALKING. I understood why people followed the Governor. I even understood why people followed Negan. But I have no idea why any of these fucking fools are hanging out in the woods eating WORMS and hanging out with walkers and following ALPHA. It's one thing if they think that its their only choice. But Alexandria is JUST DOWN THE ROAD. All they have to do is frag Alpha, peel off those stupid masks and hotfoot it to hot showers, warm beds and REAL FOOD
  18. Moments. Just a bunch of moments strung together. No storyline, no plot, no coherence. These people have no fucking idea how to tell a story. And could SOMEBODY fucking kill a bad guy?!?!?! And make sure he/she is DEAD!!! Jesus!
  19. Michonne got on the boat to GET AWAY from Judith. And that other child of hers that she forgets she had.
  20. Gamma's going to be screaming for Gabriel to start torturing her any minute now.
