  1. So the lights couldn't have gone out 10 minutes earlier?
  2. Death scenes of beloved characters were less painful to watch than this.
  3. Carol became claustrophobic the moment she noticed Daryl noticing Connie.
  4. I can't believe Daryl is actually standing up to Carol. He's even reminding her that she's not the only person in the ZA that's lost somebody. What show am I watching?
  5. I can't remember that woman's name but I love her for daring to stand up to Queen Carol. It would be nice if at least one of the people who Carol gets killed has a chance to tell her that she sucks.
  6. I agree about the mediocrity of the designs. I think one of the best designs of the season was Delvin's tropical bird coat and that was a long time ago. It's been downhill ever since.
  7. Agreed. If Michael Kors or Zac Posen were still judging, Nancy probably wouldn't have even made it on the show. She's a total gimmick 'inspirational' contestant, meant to appeal to a certain demographic. Even her most ardent fans rarely talk about her designs and more about how anyone who doesn't like her is 'ageist'. This season has been the most gimmicky season I've seen in ages.
  8. My issue with Nancy isn't her age. I'm sure I would dislike Nancy just as much if she were 30. My issue with Nancy is that she's boring, self-absorbed and I don't really believe that she's committed to being a designer. Not to mention that she's selfish and inconsiderate enough to leave burnt shit on an iron and walk away from it. And THEN not be woman enough to own up to what she did. Delvin was dragged for TALKING shit about Nancy; he never did anything to affect her work. But people have studied the last episode as if it was the Zapruder tape to disprove that this woman didn't do what she did. I don't like Victoria at all but I can't see the difference between her repeatedly sending her asymmetrical shit down the runway and Nancy doing the same with those Quick-Sew pants. So, the accusation of agism doesn't fit here. I don't like Nancy because I think she's a boring, selfish bitch.
  9. I hope Maggie and Rosita hear about Negan and Alpha's 'Afternoon Delight'. It might not be full justice for the brutal murder of Glenn and Abraham...but it's a step in the right direction.
  10. Scout and Marquise talked about shoes and she told him that wearing heels with a prosthetic was uncomfortable so they decided on sneakers. So Marquise was designing to accommodate his client. When Nancy does it, she's a saint. When Marquise does it, he's an idiot?
  11. Did Devlin show up and snark with Brittany? I must have missed that part.
  12. Devlin was sent home last week. But I'm not surprised that he's STILL a scapegoat.
  13. Bingo. I guess those of us who have encountered a Nancy (or two) in their lives aren't as impressed with her as she is with herself. I don't get the feeling that Nancy NEEDS this, like other designers do. This is Nancy's second career and it's less about fashion and ALL ABOUT NANCY. She's a tourist. Sergio likes to pretend that he's a tourist but you can smell the hunger coming off him. If he were selling $12,000 to all the middle-aged ladies on the Upper East Side, he wouldn't need Project Runway. But here he is.
  14. Nancy's silence was as big a 'bitch move' as Brittany's shriek, in my opinion. Edited because there's no need for a 'bitch move of my own'.
  15. The 'fabric' didn't leave the residue on the iron. NANCY left it. Geoffrey definitely should have checked the iron before he used it. But he may have been putting too much stock in the consideration of his fellow contestants not leaving the equipment that everyone uses in a total mess. I have a feeling that if someone else had left that mess, it would be less okay.
  16. Do we KNOW that Marquise didn't ask Scout what she wanted for the bodice? Perhaps the bodice is exactly the way she wanted it to be. It seems that 'benefit of the doubt' is only available to certain people.
  17. Brittany might be a bitch but she could have called Nancy out for fucking up the iron and she didn't. Nancy had enough sense of shame to hang her head but she wasn't woman enough to own up to ruining another designer's dress. There's no way she didn't know there was crap on the iron; she would have smelled it. She just didn't care.
  18. Did the designers know they weren't in danger of going home? Because I didn't get a sense of urgency from ANY of them. So Nancy leaves a bunch of burnt shit on the iron and doesn't even speak up. Maybe Devlin and Brittany know something that the rest of us haven't seen. Victoria was happy because she just had to recreate the dress she's been making forever. Sergio's dress was nice but you can find it in any maternity store. None of these dresses were very special. There just didn't seem to be much effort put into this week. No surprise that this was Nancy's week. If this was an elimination challenge, Geoffrey should have been escorted out.
  19. Heidi was a REAL super-model, like her or not. I don't know what Karlie is but I get the impression that she's basically the best this show can do. I'm sure the high profile family connection gave her a leg up.
  20. I'm so glad you had the courage to say this. I don't think Nancy is 'awful', but I do think she's a bit of a tourist. I don't think she's serious about being a designer. I think she's a middle-aged woman with enough money to do what she wants and this is her new hobby. I get the feeling the producers thought she would appeal to a certain demographic and that's why she was cast.
  21. Devlin was trying to emulate Parisian designers that he admired. In my opinion, dressing like them is better than 'borrowing' their designs.
