I find it hard to believe that after living in Laredo for over four years that Jeremy hadn’t picked up at least some conversational Spanish. I can’t imagine that helped his “preacher-ing” very much. I live in California and took four years of French in school, yet I am able to converse in Spanish just because I hear (and see it in stores) it so often.
