Joy and Anna didn't get the "same height" memo. The shoes are okay...if you are wearing jeans! And the dresses are pretty hideous when you look at them close up. Jill's Pinterest model dress had a pretty A-line skirt and utilized that belt, which I also didn't like. Maybe the pop of white could have been in the form of a small white waist sash rather than that godawful third dress tier? That began to verge on Little House territory, and reminded me a bit of the old specials when they wore the clown dresses with pantaloons. Stuff I never thought I'd see again. I know she was going for Shabby Chic As Seen on Pinterest, but when you're filling up a megachurch with 2900 guests (reports were that the church was full), you just can't have a barn-inspired wedding theme. Just putting some plain putty pumps on the bridesmaids (and flats on Hannie) would have elevated the look of those unforgivable dresses.

During the school year, he only traveled with them on weekends. However, as @Absolom noted, there are some rumors floating around that he wasn't seen at school after spring break and that he was working construction for a "Mr. Jim" (maybe the sound guy, the poster didn't differentiate) "up north" and that he was going to transfer to the Univ. of Arkansas.The Duggars are north of Hot Springs, so make of that what you will. The info came from the tumblr, so I don't count it as a reliable source. Also, don't most 4 year schools require CC transfers to have completed gen ed courses and lower division courses in one's intended major? He hasn't finished 2 years of college; he just graduated high school a year ago. So yeah, I take the rumors with a ton of salt. Bin posted another selfie today, so I have a feeling that they're separated at the moment. Their collective narcissism is going to be their undoing; even their fans are going to burn out on this stuff sooner or later.

And Michelle learned a new word! Bliiiiinnnnnggggg! Well Mullet, rather than drone on about how a four year old isn't being modest and needs to put her jacket back on (saw a leaked pic of her at the Duggar reception in which the jacket was also ditched), I think she should go entertain herself with some shiny things. Who on earth is Josie defrauding again?

I must concede. I just saw the latest "leak" from People which states that the dress was an Allure Romance gown, formerly strapless. But I don't see #2569 in that section (it's under the A-line dresses). That could be People's fault, making it harder to find the gown. All the Romance dresses are numbered 27__. Looks like we'll see more pics (hopefully of the bridesmaids' dresses) when People hits newsstands on Friday. I'll check it out in the grocery line. :D

Josh's Tea Party buddy (he, Mullet and Boob campaigned for him in MS the week before Jill's wedding) is protesting the validity of the election. Apparently, MS is an open primary state and he's claiming that the opponent, the Senate incumbent, got Democrats to request Republican ballots to vote for the guy. Uhm dude, that's how open primaries work. You'd think that being a state senator, making laws for his state, he'd know that. Sore loser. Keep up the good work Duggars! Their record when openly supporting candidates is 0 - a whole lot.

Aaaaand the selfies keep on coming. The most recent is older (Jessa's bangs - now pretty much grown out - are in fine form) and depicts Bin in a hard hat. I've heard conflicting reports about where he's living, but if his dad is into building/selling pre-fab homes, my guess is he's still living in Hot Springs and working for Daddy, and not "Mr. Jim" (the sound guy? There was no elaboration on the Duggars' tumblr) somewhere closer to Jessa. Bin and Jessa have posted saved selfies on weekdays throughout their courtship, ostensibly to show how much they miss each other when they're separated. I also think they just like looking at themselves and love the adoration from their teenage leghumpers on Instagram . They both seem quite narcissistic.

Here is a link to the dress before alterations. I read somewhere that it was Allure, which led me to their modest section. I found this on Saturday, pretty confident it was hers, with a couple alterations. Those alterations were confirmed in the article, and the location sells Allure. Bingo! http://www.allurebridals.com/products/m504 As for the shop, you know that TLC contacted all the shops within a 50 mile radius of Smuggar once they had confirmation that Jill wanted an Allure dress. This particular shop is sort of out of the way, but I guess it was the one that wanted the publicity most. There are a slough of shops that sell Allure much closer to Smuganna's place. At any rate, the $500 fee was comped in a nice quid pro quo for the show; the fact a Duggar girl shopped there will bring in lots of $500 fees in the future.

The People article mentioned that there was a reception at the church, with the food tables scattered about a lawn area. The pics from the TTH were, for the most part, far more informal, and later in the day; you could see the sun was much lower in the sky.

The bouquet arm dangle is big in wedding photos now. eta: As for sleeping arrangements now that Jilly Dilly's bed is available, Blessa's next in line for the queen bed; I guess she gets to sleep with Buddy Jordyn until/if she marries Bin. I imagine Buddy Jana is already with Josie and that would remain unchanged.

Something that is eaten with spoons. I saw a pic today of Duggars at Sam's Club pushing around palettes of stuff. Amongst the stuff: about 3000 plastic spoons. I'm going with cake and ice cream, every parents' nightmare (and lord knows there will be a shit ton of kids running around).

Earlier today, a Duggar family friend (the woman who "rescued" Michael's rainbow birthday cake a couple of years ago) posted a picture on her Instagram of three of the Duggar howlers (James, Jed, Justin) with an older guy (relatively...probably mid-late 20's) pushing around palettes at Sam's Club. Seen on the palettes: Tubs of powdered lemonade, plastic spoons and plates by the hundred count, plus other items that couldn't be identified. So much for any illusions of a classy reception. Someone noted there were about 3000 spoons that they could see. That's a lot of stuff for a landfill come Saturday night. I also wonder at the spoons. Ice cream, maybe?

No way they stream the wedding; TLC will be filming.

Famy appears to have a new boyfriend. I am not sure about the rules about linking social media, so I'll just direct everyone to her Instagram. I got nosy and looked at his page; it's plastered with pics of her, including one of her in a defrauding bikini (posted on a weekday when most people are at work).

I guess the little things are for the legions of children these Gothard families who will be invited have a chance to feel included? Has anyone grabbed the WD-40 yet?

Speaking of their narrow worldview, they'll be stumping in Mississippi tomorrow for some unfortunate, losing candidate. Smuggar is billed with his "Executive Director" title like he actually does something other than show up for these things to attract the leghumpers. ...Which annoys me...his title is bogus; he barely has a real job.

I saw the pics of them arriving in AR on Smug's IG earlier today. I also noticed that he photographed Anna from behind. I fully expect a pregnancy announcement on this trip (she's been filling out the last month or two...it's about the time she announced Marcus). I don't think Anna is in the wedding party (could be wrong, but I remember it being the sisters with Jana as MOH). If Anna is in the wedding party and pregnant, it's going to be very obvious if Jill goes with seafoam satin (please no satin in June), it will be really obvious. If Anna is indeed pregnant (and I think she is), no way they can't announce it and show her 5 months pregnant in these wedding episodes.

I forgot my biggest pet peeve of all: "Purpose" used as a verb! Makes me positively stabby.

ALERT serves as their "military." It's paramilitary in its scope. They also recite a chapter from the Bible at "Graduation." Speaking of which, I saw a pic of Josiah today captioned that he was home from ALERT (I think this was 3rd 9 week tour this year). He's really getting the major indoctrination IVed into him before he turns 18 in August. I believe that "cadets" can do up to five levels of this thing. In one of the early specials, we saw Smuggar with a crew cut and that's when someone started the (proved false) "sin in the camp" rumor. He'd just been to ALERT. Joseph also did one 9 week tour of duty that we know of (could have been more...he seeps into the cracks quite easily). JD may have gone before they started filming the show; he was 18 at that point. ALERT takes them as young as 16, I believe. I guess they do this for the boys in lieu of the Journey to the Heart indoctrination that all of the girls down to Joy have had (and if you're Poor Jana, multiple tours). There is a Journey for teenagers/young men, but maybe Boob decided that it wasn't "masculine" enough for his progeny. Who knows with these people?

IIRC, it was Famy herself who said her parents were together when she was born, but were on-again/off-again during her childhood. What other reason is there for Famy to have released her album (in 2006, before the Duggar weekly series) as "Amy Jordyn?" Her uncle and his family weren't that famous yet, no need to use that as her stage name...yet.

Nah, the baseball player hit the bricks several months ago. As for Grandma Mary, I think she toes the line at the Duggar compound and wears skirts. Obviously, those rules don't apply when she's with Deanna/Famy. I also think Fames dresses a bit more modest when she goes to the TTH. When you compare her clothes there to what you see her wearing on Instagram (including butt-skimming mini skirts and bikinis), it's pretty obvious she too tones it down.

That was the end of the Amy Retrospective. Nashville was Hour 2. And it was awful. She still can't sing Amazing Grace.

She wore those doorknocker earrings throughout her honeymoon (selfie parade). As for age, it's fewer mouths for Lawson to feed. I'm surprised 18 year old Tori isn't courting yet. Or Nathan; he has to be around 20/21 (IIRC, he's between Lawson and Alyssa in birth order).
