It looks like Marci Dauer has taken down the pictures directly relating to the main reception (or any Duggars) on her FB, but those pictures are now posted in so many other places that it doesn't really matter anymore. She kept up pictures of her son mingling at the Duggar compound after-party. Maybe TLC didn't film that and the rules that she herself posted regarding filming/posting on social media didn't apply to that reception (ie. TLC didn't film that)?

Very quickly regarding the Dauers' and the Bateses' connection: the guy Michael Bates is courting, Brandon Kielen, has an older brother who is married to Cooper Dauer's oldest sister. Hence, she will be Michael Bates' SIL when Michael marries Brandon. As seen in the pics, the Dauers are total Duggar sychopants (down to wearing the peach ribbons), so I'm sure Marci is doing everything she can to shove Cooper towards an eligible Duggar daughter. Of course, as we saw with Derick and BinBob, the decision really rests with Boob. I do thank her for the wealth of pictures, though! Quite illuminating. :D

abseedee, continued good health! :) Yes, Kelly wore the shorter version...soooo much better! I forgot to mention that in my original post, but I'm sure that Jill incorporated peach into her colors because of Cathy. I remember seeing a pic of Derick's brother (whose name escapes me at the moment) with Cathy likely getting her port put in at the hospital (she was bandaged in that area...it could be seen due to the cut of her shirt). This was easily 3 months ago now; her diagnosis probably came a month before that, since it takes a little time to get a treatment plan put together. She may well have been diagnosed in that scene where Derick is getting ready to propose. I wish her a speedy and full recovery.

I doubt it. First off, Derick is not a Gothardite. The weddings he goes to (that I know of) are when both the bride and groom are in the cult. Secondly, the Duggars are doing their level best to distance themselves from the man, although they remain active in the program. Boob's remarks last March at one of the book signings set the tone for how the Duggars were going to handle this ("follow God, not man"). It's bullshit, but that's how he's decided to repackage them from here on out.

Interesting. I saw them posted in a private FB group, but I know that Pickles also got a hold of them and that FJ posted a few of the pictures, so they're still out there for anyone who is interested. I agree about the Pistol Pete cake! Hilarious. It also seems that some guests wore peach ribbons pinned to their lapels. According to this site (sorry, I don't know how to hyperlink): http://awarenessribbongifts.com/awareness-ribbon-colors/ the peach ribbon signifies either endometrial or uterine cancer. I'm sure this was done in solidarity for Cathy. Derick also wore a peach tie, the only man in the bridal party to do so. I wondered why Mullet didn't go with soft peach for her dress, but knowing this about the ribbons, I can see why she chose to just match up with Boob and go with the Duct Tape dress instead.

The facebook page of MarciMonteDauer has a TON of candid pics on their page. Their son, Cooper, is in shots with both Jinger and Jessica Seewald with an arm draped over their shoulders. These people are major leghumpers (showed the Bateses around San Francisco earlier this month), but there might be something going on with thie Dauer kid. Marci's pics confirm that Mullet's dress is truly one of the hottest messes ever to be worn. You can also see just how cheap the reception was, both in terms of food and venue. I'm not sure there were even any decorations, certainly no tablecloths on the food tables. Come on Boob, open your wallet and spring for some table coverings! Geez louise! It's a wedding, not a yard sale.

Smugs had no room to put up siblings for overnights, except for the short time before Mack was born and nursing through the night. But just like DC, no problem because he's a relative drinking the same Kool-Aid. Jana needed a buddy for traveling. I think they only time they've admitted to anyone traveling alone was actually Jana when she went to Indoctrination Camp to be filmed. Given that the TLC crew was with her, there was no escaping that time; it's probably the only time any of them have been without a family member for any protracted period of time (save Smuggar, but he was married, hence an "adult" in their world).

This is exactly why TLC, Boob, or both, shut him down ASAP. eta: I'm not sure how much of this the die-hard leg-humpers saw, but sadly, most of them would agree with BinBob's misguided views. That, or they're 15 year-old fangirls who really don't care. I'm not sure how much of this a casual viewer would have seen, and they're the ones who are really going to make or break this show, kind of like swing voters.

Jennifer Hartono flew into DC after she was no longer need for childcare duty at the TTH. Her IG pics prior to those in DC revealed her to be taking care of the little girls who didn't go on the "mission" trip, since none of the JSlaves were home (although Joy could have flown back right after the 4th, just not seen in pics; she was not on the mission trip either). So Jana could have had Smuganna as her "accountability partners" to stay in DC even if Joy had gone back home. As long as you're with "true believers," you can do extended stays with other families, etc. without having other family members present. Since Jill's midwifery isn't Gothard, at least that I'm aware of, I guess Jana had to be thereto make sure that even the biggest Kool-Aid drinker in the bunch wasn't polluted by heathen views. Skylar Weiss is only 20. I hope Jana finds a guy closer to her in age. The last thing we need is another BinBob.

She became religious when she was 15 though. So, she may well have gone to the Baptist "prom," so to speak. We know that Boob/Mullet's first real date was his Senior Banquet from his private Christian school. The show regularly puts that pic out there. As for Kelly, she was a preacher's daughter, but her family seems pretty mainstream (pants-wearing women, etc). She may well have gone to an actual prom.

Gotta hide those varicose veins! Her legs must look like a bloody road map.

He's with FRC Action, the lobbying wing of FRC. His profile has been up there since almost day one. My bad, I just realized I forgot the link! http://www.frcaction.org/josh-duggar I believe the picture has been updated, but the profile looks to be unchanged from what they've always had. I laugh at "Strategic Political Services." That was just a dead website for years. He got his job (and Perkins has admitted this when he's had Smugs on his radio show) because he's one of 19 homeschooled kids. That's pretty much it.

Jill's IG actually says that it's her "official" account. I follow a lot of athletes and the like and it's the same deal. A lot of them promote their shoe brand or whatever; only a few are there to actually share their lives (Julia Mancuso, the skier, is full-out awesome; the only thing she's pimped is her awesome camera). So yeah, I just thought she was being a social media noob with all those hashtags, but that article made a lot of sense. Restaurants, sandals, websites, etc. have been pimped in her posts. I'm surprised she didn't give a shout out to the rock and bowl where she took Grandma last night. But they probably played music with a backbeat, not to mention the black lights, so no endorsement from Jilly.

A bunch of us have been trying to make #jillpregnancywatch2k14 a thing on social media. :D I think she'll be pregnant by September, announcement will be this fall's season finale during November Sweeps (after the wedding...Jill has hinted that much of the upcoming season is the buildup to the wedding). All this buys the Dillards a "pregnancy" season and birth VSE next spring.

Jill's Pinterest was 100% Shabby Chic. I don't recall ever seeing pics or films of women showing their slips during the Depression. The boy's Newsboy look is also 100% Pinterest for Boy's Wear. That is the only thing that looked dated to any era. As for the sex, it's OT law; the poster who said it's the time of menses, plus 7 days for purification is correct. That puts the couple wildly bumping uglies right around ovulation time. Speaking of, anyone want to venture a guess as to how many closets full of EPTs she has stashed away in their mini-manse?

He averaged 13 minute miles. FFS, I can WALK faster than that and I live in a very hilly area (not to mention, I'm about twice his age). I have a feeling Jana and Joy stayed at home with the M-Kids, although they were picked up later as they passed out patriotic million dollar tracts from Ray Comfort on the National Mall. I found the tracts hilarious, as they featured deist Thomas Jefferson, and not a more "godly" founding father. LOL

I hope Bin can find an internet connection to keep up his output of Selfies of the Day. I really don't want to be innundated with 10 a day for a couple of weeks after they get back. As for that hard hat selfie, that's a few months old. Blessa has already grown out her short-phase bangs.

Looks like Bin's new "occupation" is Being Duggar. He attended a parade with a bunch of the Duggar kids during the middle of the day today. Shouldn't he be working at...ANYTHING to prepare himself for supporting his high-maintenance girlfriend? Follow Derick's example and get a JOB. It may mean missing out on a couple (okay, several) selfie-ops, but if you're going to get married with the stipulations that Gothard and (in Bin's case) Doug Phillips have put forth with an uneducated, barefoot and pregnant wife, you gotta support that. I mention Phillips because Bin's dad has a lot of Calvinist stuff on his Facebook. Phillips was a strong adherent of Calivinist doctrine. Bin himself used to quote Spurgeon a lot on his IG, but he's backed off most of that in favor of pics of himself and his girlfriend.

Someone claiming to work at A Mommy's Butterfly (the place Jill apprentices) claims that the bridal shower they gave her - complete with some of the mommies she helped deliver - doubled as a going-away party. If TLC taped this, and they may well have since they've featured her "career" on the show, and this person is not a troll (this was on the Duggar tumblr, so I am suspect), they're violating a NDA they definitely would have had to sign. However, if TLC didn't tape and this is true, it is sad to see Jill throw away any freedom she had with both hands to be a stay at home wife in the Gothard tradition. There is absolutely NO reason she can't do both, for the time being at any rate. If she has quit, it's indicative of Gothard/Phillips/other Patriarchal culture leaders' daughters who are essentially doing stuff while they mark time as they wait for Prince Charming. I really hope this turns out to be a troll rumor. Lord knows we've had enough of Razing Ruth (and her other personas) and "Sin in the Camp" as far as the Duggars are concerned for me to trust an anonymous comment, but in the event that this person is telling the truth, it's sad. She's only been home for 3 days, and maybe there haven't been any checkups for her patients, and she goes back to work next week? I hope so.

Yes. It's the "kitten house" from an older Duggar episode. Boob/Mullet own the house in their Trust. JD's house is on the same street. So, sadly, it seems that they will be influenced much more strongly by her family than his. Their attendance last Sunday at the Church of the Holy Airplane Hangar saddened me. I hope they go to his church too, and figure out which church works for THEM, not for Jill trying to keep in her family's good graces. Piecing together the IG pics, Jilly and James went shopping on Monday, not early Tuesday before she met Derick at work for lunch. He wore the same shirt in a group shot taken at the TTH with the 7 youngest kids (James being the cutoff at 12/almost 13). Cute pic of Derick grilling in his hippie sandals (have we EVER seen a Duggar male in sandals?). Too bad we know the truth about the guy and this is an anomaly.

From what I've understood from Kelly, the courtship period is where they're basically permitted to go beyond friendship and fall in love. The Duggars appear to have copied this model in what they've permitted in the courtships of Benessa and Jerick. Kelly says by the time engagement rolls around, it's basically just the time to plan the wedding; it's not to be a lengthy time. Michael Bates is also going through a long courtship, but in her case, the boyfriend is not allowed to be in that kind of relationship while in the Gothard school he's attending. He graduates in November (one of Chad's brothers did this as well; I think it's Gothard-ministry based). I expect Michael to have a ring then. Jessa? Not so sure, but she's sporting a heart pendant with an S etched into it. I noticed it on the barrage of selfies Bin posted today. Gah! They may well be keeping their engagement under wraps for the sake of the show; everyone knows that Boob will milk this stuff out for as long as possible. At any rate, Justin was their chaperone this evening when they went out for dinner. How easy would it be to send the kid off to the arcade and sneak in a couple of smooches while he's gone? Or ply him with soda so he needs a bathroom break. There are a zillion ways to get rid of an 11 year old.

Maybe white sandals/wedges, rather than brown, with belts to match? Still on the casual side, but a bit more in tune with a wedding in a big church? Or if anything, the belts/shoes could have been more nude in tone to preserve her Shabby Chic look. Just too clunky. Interesting that even in the picture in which Derick carried Jill out of the Information area, we have never seen what shoes SHE chose to wear. She obviously wasn't as hung up on this as any of the girls attached with Bates marriages. Unless there's a love note on the bottoms of Jill's shoes (god, that sounds so Pinterest) that we won't see until the 2-part VSE. I'm pretty sure they'll drag this out now that the honeymoon locale is also under wraps, although I think there's a good lead, with logic on video (a "hint" to fans that they didn't know of yet) that we nailed it.

Saw pics of TLC filming them in DC today. Anna was in her wedding shoes and her outfit didn't flatter her like the higher waisted bridesmaid dress did. I have a feeling there IS an announcement in the offing. Otherwise, what IS there to film (we see them at a monument with Rotan and at a farmer's market with the "kiddos" and more crew). Boooooring!

My guess is Kitty Hawk. Duggarfam posted a video of Jackson doing a book report on the Wright Brothers a couple of months ago. I can totally see whoever is "teaching" them these days telling Jackson to read this book because it is where Jerick will be going on their honeymoon. That's how they've rolled with their "schooling" for years.
