  1. Only if we have time traveled back about 35 - 50 years.
  2. Is the Mysteries of Laura the new one with Kathryn Heigl?
  3. Ha I know it sounds like one of those standardized test questions... if all the women are white and all the blacks are men, does that mean all the whites are women?
  4. If you are as obsessed with him as my cousin you could literally up and move to McKinney TX to live near his eighty year old self. No joke this actually happened.
  5. Maybe I should take this to the unpopular opinions thread, but I do not see the appeal of Jeremiah. I think he's stiff, humorless and boring. I guess it doesn't help that I don't find him physically attractive in the least. If he was written out of the show I wouldn't miss his character at all. On the popular side though I would way rather they get rid of Emma.
  6. Out of curiosity why are we using "mline" for "blind?"
  7. I don't remember much else about the episode, but when I think of this show I always have "How...do you do...Mrs Wiiii-ley" running through my head.
  8. I think the show Mom is just so bad, which may or may not be unpopular, but I actually think Allison Janney is the worst thing about it. Her part takes absolutely no finesse or timing, it's always straight to the lowest common denominator.
  9. Not just you. I'd take it off in the car if I thought I could get away with it.
  10. Mark Harmon will always be Ted Bundy to me, I don't care how long he is on NCIS.
  11. A lot of my favorite episodes have been mentioned but I didn't see the one where they visit Doug's parents in Florida and stay at a hotel to "set the precedent" And the hotel is full of spring breakers. Haha, when Deacon realizes Kelly is dancing topless with the students. And Doug trying to catch the bat in the bathroom with those giant sunglasses. "Ok now the bat just thinks I'm Elton John!" So funny. Did this show ever get any Emmys because it certainly should have.
  12. Wasn't Samantha (SATC) in her fifties?
  13. Plus you would think she would be in max security for murder.
  14. I don't know about Crazy Eyes being somewhat normal before, she did pee outside Piper's bunk after all. That's pretty out there.
  15. Good post Lucindabelle. It bothers me when offense is taken when the biological clock is mentioned but it is, in fact, very real. I would hate to see young women of the future being denied motherhood if they want to go that route because they foolishly didn't consider the odds of childbearing diminishing as they get older.
  16. Gotta give the dog credit for his part in the street sign scene too!
  17. I know this is extremely unpopular but I thought Frank on Everybody Loves Raymond was a complete asshole and not that funny for the most part. His constant belittling of his wife, regardless of what most people see as her faults, was so demeaning to me. I really hated all his digs at mostly Marie but also Ray and Robert. It really got under my skin. Yeah he had affection for Debra but she already had parents who loved her and didn't need the extra boost. I don't know he just irritated me for the most part.
  18. Sorry, not only on TV in my case.
  19. I Haaaated the season finale of The Mentalist. Haaaated the way Jane was a prick most of the episode, hated that he bought outfits for her to wear and she supposedly thought that was a co-worker type things to do, hated that the director was supposedly so invested in their relationship, and totally cringed at the airplane scene. I couldn't even read The Mentalist forum after that episode because of all the squeeing. They don't do it for me as a couple at all.
  20. Haha I turned on the TV GUIDE Network tonight and stopped because there was a gorgeous young Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze on my screen. Keanu was with an actress I didn't recognize until she spoke and than I realized it's the infamous Lori Petty you have all been talking about (it's the surfer movie). Never heard of her and don't recall seeing her before, but damn it's hard to reconcile her with the actress that was in OITNB this episode!
  21. YES, THANK YOU for both of these particularly the Wire. That scene was just stupid and I get do sick of hearing how clever and hilarious it was. And not only do I not think Dichen Lachman can't act I don't even find her attractive. I'll raise you one with an extremely unpopular opinion: I don't think the silent Valentine's day sequence with Niles on Frasier is that witty or clever or "the seven funniest ever minutes on TV" (BARF). In fact I usually fast forward through it.
  22. I agree Lilith was the best match for him but the show would never have worked with Frasier as husband and father instead of bachelor Frasier living with Martin and Daphne.
  23. Niles (same episode): I learned when you kiss her you get an ice cream headache.
  24. Thanks for the call back to two of the worst girlfriends ever - the Marco girlfriend and the Lolita from the shopping mall. And it never really went anywhere, but the very young co-worker who was hitting on Frasier in the Dr. Clint Webber episode would have been disastrous also. Are we really to believe Frasier is catnip to very young girls in the latter two cases? And the first two were just horrific actresses.
  25. This is one of my favorite shows but there were tons of issues with continuity.
