Agree with your whole post, but especially this point about bringing meds and asking about what’s in the food. I have extremely serious food allergies and I’m constantly asking what’s in stuff. If it looks like it has tree nuts (my allergen), I wont eat it—sometimes even if I’m told it’s fine.I have had to do this since I was a kid. And that turns up to 11 when I’m traveling. People are more educated and staff are better trained, so it’s getting... better. I’m so stunned Bethenny didn’t bother to ask the chefs or anything.

Poured myself some wine and I’m ready to whoop it up! I don’t think I will feel the absence of Meghan, Peggy, or Lydia in any kind of way. I take that back... I’ll feel it in a good way! I’m looking forward to watching Shannon and Kelly dating. Both of them can be funny when they’re not being overly neurotic (Shannon) or mean (Kelly).

Oh, dear... Well, I’ll tell you that Nene wouldn’t have enjoyed sitting in on the Countess show. The “emcee” was a drag queen named Pollo Del Mar, who made Don Rickles look considerate. ;)

Yep, I’d concur with most of that as well (though there were plenty of bathroom trips made during the non-Luann singers, LOL). I didn’t pay quite that much but there was a per-person minimum, so it edged close to that. Technically I was in the “cheap seats” (har har), but with a room that small, there weren’t really any BAD seats. I’d encourage anyone to go if you’re able and interested. My friend and I went because we thought it would be fun and funny—which it was. But the musicians really made the night for me. And Luann is actually a pretty good entertainer. (NOT singer, entertainer. Note the difference ;) I do kind of fear that this will take off among the Housewives. I don’t need a #melissaandfriends or a #neneandfriends or a #vickiandfriendskillallcancertour. (Erika Jayne might be interesting/eyerollworthy...)

Resistance is learned, my friend Having seen the show—it’s definitely not that it’s a great song ;) It’s kind of like they built a cabaret show around the Countess... which means, a good draw for a 150-seat room. They play up her strengths and then have a bunch of actual singers sing and REALLY good backup musicians accompanying them. So it’s really a “show” with more emphasis on the “and friends” than you might initially expect.

I keep falling asleep during this show now. I am thinking that Dock Cat might be a more interesting show at this point.

If you heard a big GROAN, that was probably me. ”Allow me to post this highly edited photo along with a quote that dramatizes my situation.” She needs to be reminded that correlation (“I was left out” and “I am trans”) does not equal causation (“I was left out BECAUSE I am trans”) ETA I can understand why she would feel left out and then make assumptions about why (except for that small detail that she WASN’T really left out...) But turning it into a social media-fueled pity party is where it goes OTT for me. And I believe they’re filming right now, so this will probably end up on the show. Being left out of an event is par for the course on this show (and the RH shows).

@Jextella—Sorry I’m blanking in his name at the moment—but he wasn’t someone from the show. And he may not work at SUR... I think he just somehow knows all the Bravolebrities (but he was wearing a SUR shirt). He’s a young guy and in a lot of the photos of Luann from Pride weekend. If I wasn’t already irritated by Giada, this would’ve put the nail in the coffin. WOW was she snotty. I halfway expected her to snap at whoever pointed out the flaws in her food (even though she did them intentionally). Speaking of Giada’s food: talk about uninspired. If the goal was to make me amazed by her culinary prowess, she’d need to level up from rigatoni and some spread on a bread. Yawn.

I know I’m just catching up, but... Are you certain we aren’t already watching The Walking Dead? Because it sure feels like it.

Question. Right now on Facebook one of the “top GIFs” is Schwartz saying “yeah man.” (I’d embed it but I can never figure out how to do that!) Anyone know why that, of anything, is trending?

I know I’m late to the party but I actually thought this was kind of a boring episode. I tried watching it twice and fell asleep both times. JWOWW van der Sloot. Love it.

She doesn’t seem drunk in the videos to me, either. Didn’t seem drunk at the show the night before (and in fact made a comment about being sober right at the start of the show). I can buy her being pushy about the banner or whatever, though. I guess I could be wrong. But, all these reports about her being drunk all seem to be coming from the same person, anyway.
