  1. I just saw her Biography episode, which was likely run because of this announcement (they added the PS to the end of the episode). I hadn’t been very aware of her post-FOL career and I was impressed that she wanted to keep things fresh acting wise, but also stayed very level headed and focused on her young family.
  2. I still like Shannon. However, I think this was a case of a bad—or at least ill-timed—match topped by two people who are still raw. Tom seemed like a decent guy who hadn’t quite yet learned to hide his hand a bit on the first date; Shannon’s mid-divorce and hadn’t yet learned to seek out someone other than a David type. (Comments courtesy of Dr. ivygirl, MFT from the Vicki Gunvalson School of Insurance Sales, CA License #472827) ...Which is shocking, because most men (most people) LOVE to be pressured into marriage! Especially when their SO manages to screech out a comment at every group gathering ;)
  3. Agreed. In real life I’d feel very sorry for Gina. But in the context of the show, it’s boring and a waste of time. I don’t feel invested in her or her relationship—and for the most part I haven’t been charmed by what I’ve seen. I’d rather watch ten minutes of Shannon’s date’s cats than more about her divorce.
  4. I’m always amused by the literally relevant ads I see on this site. @Bronzedog you should LOVE this one:
  5. Never fear Gem 10! I was just thinking she watched Valley Girl—as a documentary—in preparation for moving to the OC. ;)
  6. “Your story????? About the guy you went on a date with???? Yeah they were together for 30 years? And just realized they weren’t in love! Yeah... that’s just like me? I’m getting an, uh, like, um, divorce? You guys?”
  7. The contrast between Emily in her blue button down and Kelly in her Yeti coat at this sitdown is cracking me up.
  8. That’s why her claim that she was all about no drama made me roll my eyes so hard I strained them! Vicki is as “no drama” as Tamra would be about using a library voice...
  9. Pantry: “this is where the magic... oh wait, do I cook? #blessed”
  10. To me it looks like they stuck the crew eating area from the Below Deck Med boat in the middle of the kitchen.
  11. This is the most I’ve heard Cheryl Tiegs discussed since about 1981 ? I remember seeing her stuff around Sears as a kid. Anyway—I’m glad to see that Kim is among such a classy crowd. “Marriage” Boot Camp: “Reality” “Stars” is full of highly recognizable household names with great degrees of credibility. It’s also charming to see that there are quite a few cocktail recipes on the show’s website, which is maybe an indication that this is a great show for Kim’s health. *takes tongue out of cheek* When you’re on a show and Pauly D is the most recognizable and successful (which he is—he’s got a regular DJ gig in Vegas, and he’s got a reality show reboot that was successful enough to get renewed for another season)... Wow, Kim.
  12. Obviously I’m having an exciting Friday night, as I’m watching Evine and Joyce is hawking hair supplements (and coming here to report on it). Joyce still had gorgeous hair, but her Evine “cohost” is talking about how great the products are, but her hair does NOT look great...
  13. The undropped, uncracked gem! LOL
  14. Morgan has some intense eyebrows... and I can’t help it; I find Nema super cute. I’m loving this episode overall. Food, culture, food, real relationships, food... Per Wikipedia:
  15. Eh. It’s too bad there are no Peoples Couch type shows currently on (yes I know about Jerry O’Connell’s)—you’d probably see the best stuff on one of those.
  16. As much as I love VPR... I have to agree! Vandersloot Rules: Featuring JWOWW from Zimbabwe, the Jax of the Mediterranean.
  17. To me there’s a difference between having the jerk chase your tail while he’s dating someone else—and having the jerk chase your tail while he’s dating someone else and reveling in that attention, talking about a texting relationship and intimating that she was his true confidant, asking “if I hadn’t gotten up... would it be us?,” being flirtatious at dinner right in front of the gf, lying down on the guy’s lap, and on and on. He’s culpable for his part; she’s culpable for hers.
  18. I’d love to know why Casey has nominated herself to be Greek Chorus and Chief Commentator. She’s terrible in the role. JWOWW 100% needs to own his own behavior, but Casey’s ego kept her engaging. She loved the attention and certainly could have discouraged the flirting if she truly respected Brooke.
  19. I like his little boutonnière. And Jaime looks beautiful.
  20. PS is Colin even here? I CANT EVEN with JWOWW’s DRAMATICS. *Or* Casey’s excuse making. Or Sandy’s there-there-ing. Barf.
