  1. I have a co-worker who calls her live in boyfriend husband. They've been together for years, so he might as well be.
  2. During the song John and Abbie are so close to dancing.
  3. The first thought I had was "Where do I buy those shoes?" I love the outfit. Very inline with what women her age are wearing.
  4. This can also happen in pants. Particularly loose basketball shorts. Do not ask me how I know.
  5. That is a very cute video. Priscilla and David were so sweet and gentle with their children. The children asked normal questions. Is the baby wearing clothes, commenting on the Destiny's hair. Priscilla looked like she had just woken up from a restful nap, not given birth. That woman is amazing.
  6. Jana should also check out grocery stores on Saturday night. Ours has quite a few men on their own buying snacks to go home and sit in front of the TV. I know because I've been asked for my number a couple of times. Maybe she really loves her life. At her age I would have been bored out of my mind!
  7. Kendall is very attractive. But, even naked she is so boring and unsexy. Slim women can be very sexy. Kendall just doesn't have "it". I have horses. No way would I want to be picking horse hair out of my private areas. At least sit on a towel.
  8. I know several people who shill products on their social media. Depending on the number of your followers they usually only receive free product. The companies will also give them a script to post. Whitney and Jill are posed and dressed almost alike. Companies will also direct the pose and how to display the product. I have no interest in what she’s peddling. I’m just thrilled to see Jill in jeans. Awhile ago Scott Disick, of Kardashian fame, accidentally posted too much information for a product he was pushing. The company told him what to say and exactly what time to post. I won’t call Jill a copy cat for for this one.
  9. In the comments of her post, Jessa said during the night Henry got into bed with them. Jessa and Ben had gotten up and Henry was still asleep in their bed. I do like the way Ben gently rubbed his back. I may not agree with their fundamentalist beliefs but they do seem to be gentle and loving with their sons. And truly enjoy them.
  10. One of my sets of measuring cups has an 1/8 cup. The corn bread sounds tasty. How many families need institutional size recipes?
  11. orkIn the old days when I was a secretary, it was not an easy job, Shorthand and typing without erasures is not easy. I worked for a real estate company and typed reams of documents. All had to be error free. Before spell check you had to know spelling and grammar. Most of which I've forgotten. Different types of envelopes had their own ways of being addressed. We didn't just slap a pre-printed label on things. Dictaphone machines take a lot of practice. Carbon paper, who remembers onion skin paper? There was a business etiquette for answering phones. I learned to work a switchboard with all the plug in cables. Secretaries with a good company could have a very nice career. It was not a all a demeaning position. Bad management can happen in any job at any level. I really enjoyed being a secretary. Men doing those jobs were called secretaries before women were in the workforce. We need to take back the name!
  12. I love the picture from Zack and Whitney's vow renewal. Although they look nice in the original wedding picture, they both look a little unsure and overwhelmed. At the renewal they look happy and mature. They have really grown into their relationship. Her first wedding dress is very pretty. The bolero is very nice for a church wedding. As liberal as I am, I don't need to see every inch of cleavage and armpits and everything else. Working with the public I see enough barely clothed people all summer. Hopefully Whitney can be on good terms with her adoptive and birth parents. Those relationships can be complicated and can take years to work out. I don't know the complete backstory on her birth parents. It's just nice to see Zack and Whitney looking so happy.
  13. I feel the same way. Krispy Kreme certainly knows people will get all the free donuts they can. I work for a company that is known for giving free samples. It's supposed to be one per customer to introduce products and for advertising. My store is in one of the wealthiest, highest educated counties in the country. People will almost fight you for more than one, threaten to call corporate, ask for samples for every family member who are "just over there". A certain number of people will always take everything they can. Even if they can easily afford the item. Did Derick go into the store with bare feet? Yuck.
  14. That's the kind of funny picture you used to keep private to laugh at between yourselves. Everything does not belong on social media. I'm also addressing that to friends and family who post about every little thing several times a day. Jill is right in line with a lot of people on social media. Nothing is private.
  15. Cinnamon sugar. Already prepared and ready to sprinkle on toast. My mother wouldn't buy them. She made her own and stored it in a Tupperware shaker. I could eat a whole loaf of cinnamon toast. Good stuff especially on cold mornings with a cup of cocoa.
  16. Today I saw two young women wearing similar shoes. If I had long slim legs, I'd wear them. The style is pretty popular in our area.
  17. Looks like Amy is finally maturing. It takes some of us longer than others. If she finds this fulfilling perhaps she will get some higher education and go into social work.
  18. I've been to some really nice receptions where all the food was from Costco. Some veggie trays, fruit trays, cheese and deli trays. Small paper plates and napkins and you're all set. Except for ordering and pickup, no fuss.
  19. I was going to say the same. As far as I'm concerned Divine is the only Edna Turnblad.
  20. I really like Lauren's dress. The fabric makes or breaks that kind of dress. In person it may look classic and elegant. Everyone regrets fashion choices when they look back. Fashions and tastes mature. I also like the heart shaped cake. As long as it was what Josiah and Lauren wanted. No reason to follow tradition and have a tiered cake if that's not what you want. I hope and pray that Josiah wanting to take it slow means babies. Courting with a chaperone present doesn't give much change to get to know each other. Even for couples who've been together a long time, living together is quite an adjustment. Add in learning about sex and what their intimacy needs are it can be rough. Who knows how much either of them know or what they expect. Jill and Derick should have taken their time. Jill seems to want to still be in the honeymoon phase. Having fun with her husband, having him to herself. They had barely learned to live together and she had two babies and difficult births. I feel like that's why they seem to resent Izzy. He barged in on their honeymoon time.
  21. It looks like a very nice home. I'm not a fan of split levels, but I don't live there. My parents had a stair lift in their home. It wasn't too bad price wise. If Zach has trouble with stairs now or at some future point, they could have one installed.
  22. I'm hoping they end up like Zach and Whitney. Real jobs, a few kids, and wearing the clothes they want to wear.
  23. Wow. Who would have thought John David would show personality. It's nice that he waited and it won't be another teen marriage. In the video it almost looked like he was going to kiss her. All the Duggar men need to look at pictures of Prince William. The thinning hair look so much better when it's shaved down close.
  24. I don't blame him. How interesting or challenging can Duggar homeschool be? It's pretty certain there were no trips to museums, science center or art classes. Things that most homeschoolers do. Most of the Duggars seem bright enough, and the ones who don't probably would be, if they had any type of challenging and creative schooling.
