  1. I think this is exactly what set Jill off. The picture looked like any group of co-workers who get along well. Smiling, arms around each other's shoulders. Celebrating a birthday. To the rest of us it's just a normal work event picture, pre-covid anyway. The Rod kids are not allowed to have any enjoyment beyond what Mama deems appropriate. Making unapproved friends is unacceptable. Standing next to a girl in pants is a straight trip to hell. I hate to think what was said to Tim to get him back home. My heart genuinely breaks for him. At least he tried to get away and make a life. Too bad he couldn't fall in with people who could guide him. The Jill R. cult is horrible and far reaching. I wonder what would happen if Nurie and her husband started having their own ideas.
  2. Lilah is so cute in her glasses. Love her sly smile.
  3. Jim Jones was honored by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Some of whom compared him to Ghandi. It really is something how easily people can be pulled in by cult leaders.
  4. Do the stars of TLC shows ever meet? Dr. Jen Arnold would seem to be a good person for Zack and Tori to meet. Jen is a woman with darfism who has had many health challenges and still built a career and family. Tori seems extra concened about having a daughter with dwarfism. Jen Arnold would be a good role model from outside the family for Lilah. Not that Amy couldn't be a role model. It doesn't hurt to have many. I wonder if Zack and Tory have taken their children to see the medical experts the Klein children visit. It would make an interesting episode and I'm sure TLC could help foot the bill.
  5. Moved my post to the Zack and Tory section.
  6. I can't predict what the future holds for Jill. But, Jill looks really good in this cute swimsuit. She has a great figure and and the swimwear is very flattering. I'd wear this suit.
  7. Nathan looks like he can't get away quick enough. Nurie and Nathan both look ready to get out of there.
  8. Wow, Nathan and Nurie get a room! 🙂 I'm glad to see Nurie looking so happy and enjoying her husband. Hope there is some time before Nurie is pregnant. Just enjoy being young and in love. Despite what Jill says, I don't think Nurie is homesick at all. A friend of mine has a lawn care business and makes a decent living from it. If they don't have too many children Nurie and Nathan can have a nice life. Nathan be tough and do not give your hard earned money to Jill. Dave and Jill snuggling. Shudder. I do not need that picture in my mind.
  9. Abby is cute. She looks like a lot of young women at the college where I work. Gracie really is a cutie pie.
  10. Nathan and Nurie both look so cute in this picture. Nurie hardly looks like the same girl. Her smiles are so real. You can tell they are having fun together. What a change it must be to do fun things and not spend the whole time watching your younger siblings. Or having an experience that doesn't take a backseat to Jill. I'm glad Nathan bought Nurie some fun sunglasses. They are new and they are hers alone. Nurie doesn't look the least bit homesick. Yes Jill, we know you've always wanted an old-timey picture. Watch for Jill to post one soon. Of course it will be a gift from the children. They are so happy to sacrifice to make World's Greatest Mama's dream come true.
  11. Jim Bob likes to make a dollar. Here's three nice looking guys, that with a little coaching could be on the cover of Fundy Tiger Beat. Get a vocal coach and a stylist and they can tour the country. I mean that seriously. The Duggars already have a bus.
  12. Nurie looks pretty in her dress. The wedding party looks nice. All the clothing could fit better. For a low cost wedding it's really not too bad. The cakes are nice and I even like the bouquet. None of it would be my choice, but if Nurie is happy that's all that matters. I wish them the best and will be positive for Nurie. There is some hope as the Kellers seem to still be close to the daughters who have left the fold. Maybe Nurie will be exposed to a different way of thinking. My advice for Nathan and Nurie is do not give Jill your address. Set boundaries! Now Jill that's another story saved for another time.
  13. In our county every bedroom needs two ways out. A door and a window. The windows have to be a minimum size. I've seen some cute nursery alcoves attached to bedrooms, but they wouldn't have a door.
  14. I think Jill looks cute in all of the outfits. Loose clothing for hot weather is comfortable. Jill would fit right in with young women in our area. For a person I don't even know, I'm really happy for Jill. She and Dereck seem happier and they seem to have found a rhythm with their kids. I don't agree with a lot of their beliefs, but it's great to see her making progress in life and being her own person. It would be great for Jill to get involved with the parents group at Izzy's school.
  15. Amy is really missing out on a good storyline. Lots of middle aged women find themselves with an empty nest and a failed marriage. One of her hashtags has referred to her second act. Show us! A couple episodes of working with an organizing expert. We can see Amy go through the process of letting things go. Something a lot of us can identify with. Amy could go to culinary school or at least take a few courses. We could see Amy with a therapist or life coach. Her marriage is over, the house is gone, the kids are grown with their own families. She's going through a huge transition. Let's see her work it out to get to a happier place. We don't need all the dirty details. Well, I'd love to hear the dirty details, but it wouldn't be appropriate. If she wants to be on social media get a social media coach. Decide on a brand and build it. After doing some work Amy could emerge a victorious survivor. Lectures to women's conferences, Ted Talks, all kinds of events. She's really missing out. The Amy is bitter and angry at Matt storyline is getting really boring.
  16. On Instagram there are over 1,000 #covidfood posts. Not my choice for a hashtag, but it is right on trend.
  17. That was very strange. The children were excited and wanted to run around. I don't understand why Jill doesn't help the girls redo the furniture in their room. Give them some chalk paint in shades of cream and all that wooden furniture would look less heavy and used. For people who are raising girls to take care of the home, they have a surprising lack of skills. They could make pretty coverlets and curtains for their room. Sell baked goods. Re-style and tailor thrift store clothes. They could have a youtube channel for homemaking skills. Pinterest has tons of ideas. And for master builder David, there are lots of great designs for built in bunks. Each girl would have a shelf and drawer for personal items. Why do I put so much though into this?
  18. Cute idea. They made a special day for Izzy. I'm glad to see they have friends in the neighborhood. Jill's world is expanding,
  19. Joe Exotic is featured in a 2011 Louis Theroux documentary, "America's Most Dangerous Pets". Very interesting to see how far off the rails Joe ended up going.
  20. An interesting episode would be for an organizing expert to help Amy let some things go. We are in the process of moving to a smaller home. The process of letting go is tough. Once you're done it's an amazing sense of freedom and lightness. It's usually easier to purge and declutter before moving. Why clutter up a brand new home.
  21. They are having so much fun with boxes and their imaginations. It's nice to see that sometimes they get to be kids.
  22. If only Jill did a makeover. Can you picture Mrs. Keller done up like Jill? I'd pay to see that. Big, fried hair and makeup.
  23. It looks like it could be the laundry area in their home. I'm sure Jill saved all the family's laundry to do at the Keller home. At least Mrs. Keller is letting the little girls do some fun activities. With a different hairstyle Mrs. Keller could be quite attractive. Any guesses how long the Jill and family will stay in the Keller yard?
  24. My advice to Nathan and the Kellers, run! Lock the doors and turn off the lights. Pretend you aren't home. Unless the Kellers plan to support Nurie's whole family, get out now. This is only the start. Before they know it the new in-laws will be living in their yard.
