  1. I was going to buy this series, but now not so much. That was like ending sex before orgasm. Thanks Masterpiece. ;-(
  2. I can't stand Victoria. At this point, I don't care what she designs. She's an unpleasant person who is small in every way that matters.
  3. Roger is out of place in the wilderness, although I'm guessing he can fish. But, he could easily teach at a college, and there were colleges in America at that time: Harvard, William and Mary, Yale, Princeton, King's or Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Brown, Dartmouth, and Queen's or Rutgers. Of course, none of them were down where he is. He could also probably clerk at a law office and even practice law. He could work in any office. He could be a publisher or printer (like Jamie was). There are probably a number of other jobs he could do, but none of them are located on the Ridge.
  4. I enjoyed this so much. A lot of very touching moments. Glad they condensed some of the gatherings less meaningful moments. It surprises me every day that Diana killed off Murtagh (or Alec) whoever would be the equivalent in the book because his relationship with the regulators is ultimate drama for Jamie as opposed to no one of consequence being on the other side.
  5. I know. But allegedly she's a reporter now and her Bloomberg reporting sounds strangely like she's a campaign operative.
  6. Is Stephanie Ruhle a reporter or a member of the Mike Bloomberg campaign? I can't tell.
  7. Willie's white male rich privilege is showing this morning. Maybe he should get out of TV studios where he has to suck up to GOP guests and start getting out among the people -- the people of NYC for cripe's sake -- and get an idea of the outrage, so he wouldn't seem so out of touch.
  8. That woman, who's in love with her brother -- or whatever he is to her -- is a total dope.
  9. Since these tasks are so trying on the mind and body, why don't they have the contestants get a physical beforehand. It's clear Da’Young wasn't up to this from almost day one. She clearly isn't well and hasn't been for a while. Think of all the designers they must have turned down to include her?
  10. God, I hate this. Victoria is such a self-centered, little pain in the a$$. Can't stand her. She was in the bottom one time and she was so insulted that they couldn't see her repetitive genius, she couldn't take it. That woman better not win.
  11. What does Ratner think Bernie's going to do? And Bernie ran in 2016!
  12. These people make me laugh. They went after Elizabeth Warren mercilessly, especially Steve Ratner, tearing her down and then they're marveling at her numbers falling while Bernie's are rising. Why is Bernie's rising when he said he'd raise taxes to implement M4A they ask??? Because you never went after him, you're all about tearing down women. That's why. What stands out to me is that people want answers on healthcare and if Warren gets torn down by the misogynist mainstream press then they'll switch to Bernie.
  13. The twitter account Outlander America posted a list of the upcoming promotions and appearances of our cast and creators:
  14. I absolutely hated the winning look, with the huge initials and name on the back. Who's going to buy that? I wish the lady from South Korea had won. I am also absolutely thrilled the woman who made the blue outfit didn't because it didn't make any sense in regards to the challenge.
  15. Apparently, Karlie is married to Jared Kushner's brother, who actually is better looking than Jared, but that's beside the point. In any event, the family didn't approve and wouldn't accept her for a long time. To be honest, to be shunned by that family would be an honor.
  16. I was surprised about Rose's background. I, too, was expecting her to end up in Providence, Rhode Island. Oklahoma and Rose seems like a total miss match and then I understood why she married Abe and loves Paris ... because he and and Paris have *nothing* in common with her upbringing. She, apparently, wanted to escape and be totally another person and she succeeded.
  17. I liked the winner the best. Probably one of the few times that I've agreed with these judges. The second place guy (Delvin?) is so full of himself, I'm afraid that it affects my feelings about his work. That being said, that suit dress was not street. It looked like something an older woman would wear to a cocktail party and I say that as an older woman ... although definitely not my color. The one thing I am totally nonplussed about is the guy that produced the long gown with the train. How? How? How is that street at all? Where would you wear that? It looked like a hillbilly dressing gown. That guy should've been in the bottom for sure.
  18. I fell asleep during the bread showstopper, so I have no idea who was sent home during the second half. The hosts are bad. I've never seen this version before so I didn't recognize the names. At first, because I wasn't focusing, I thought the name I read was Anthony Andrews and I thought *how* could he do all these shows? How does he have the time? But then, as I was watching the show, I wished desperately for Andrews to show up. He's way more engaging, funny, and knows how to cook/bake! So ... change the hosts. Get a couple of engaging comedians/pundits. Sherry doesn't have much personality either. Need somebody with a pulse. Beyond that, it was fine.
  19. Well notice how Steve immediately began attacking Warren's position on Medicare for All. "It'll never happen! It'll never pass!" He was practically shrill. It's not about being a "serial liar"; it's about her policies.
  20. Wow. Literally tearing into Elizabeth Warren for representing corporations in her past. Steve Schmidt calls her a serial liar, but of course, he's decided he should have a big voice on who should be the Democratic nominee, just because he doesn't like Trump. (Who cares who actual Democrats want.) And, when we do have a new Democratic president, he will be right back to attacking that person and saying a Republican should be president.
  21. Unless I misunderstood something from last season, Susie isn't leaving Midge. She's taking on an additional client. (Did Sophie tell Susie she couldn't have other clients?) The fact that she argued to Midge that she can't be Susie and Associates if there's nothing for her associates to do means that she's trying to grow her management and take on other clients.
  22. Sometimes I think that "the polls" and the constant reporting, by shows like this, on the polls is shaping support. If we didn't have a poll every week, I wonder who people would be supporting.
  23. What is it about Rudy Giuliani in that he's a part of every bad decision that Trump is making, including pardoning that murderer Seal and the Army Rangers (according to David Ignatius)? I mean, seriously, what is wrong with that man's head -- let alone Trump's? So glad *he* never became president.
  24. I saw on twitter that they've wrapped filming for Season 5, and as a celebration, they will be having a series of Q&A's on twitter: Sam and Caitriona tomorrow (Wednesday) and Richard and Sophie on Thursday.
