  1. Beau literally carried Lex. Lex figuratively carried Beau through that entire dance. Beau doesn't connect with jack, and I don't understand why they keep propping him up. He has no extension, no through lines. He just wobbles around. Yes, he seems like a nice guy. Yes, he has some dance talent, but he's not good enough IMO. People have said they could see him on Broadway. I can only see him in regional theatre. I didn't mind Carter this week. Thought he did a decent job. I think it's because I couldn't see his face.
  2. I think with Chris that it wasn't just the fantasy suite talk, it was his cockiness at being sure he'd get to final 4 with someone, and sounding very competitive (very wrong reasons to acknowledge that out loud). He sounded like he had this in the bag with one of them (don't know who, because he hasn't picked one to hone in on) and then talked about love and commitment while saying he wouldn't necessarily tell this person he was supposed to be connected with that it was a dealbreaker if she slept with others. Shady. Glad he's gone.
  3. Yes! There is enough genuine ridiculousness going on without setting things up between the overbearing moms and the man-baby sons.
  4. I'm over every single one of these couples. All the finances need to just run the other way. Stat.
  5. This show used to be more fun. Now it is sooooo contrived. The new people are horrible. Emily still can't act and has the flattest affect. (I do not see how Shakeeb and her can be a couple in the first place-- not one ounce of chemistry there.) Kelly has become a cartoon villain. Pulling out the tree with the root ball still in burlap. That was producer shenanigans for sure.
  6. Not liking that it seems the men will have a lot of power as this plays out. They said they wouldn't pit the two women against each other, but it looks like it happens. Not OK in my book.
  7. So far, I'm not liking the new pairs. The one demanding the paternity test -- she is downright evil and the Valentine's Day mom -- something seems off about her, and the son and his GF are as dull as dish rags. Kelly is awful, but she is so over the top and Matt is such a dimwit and thinks he's the catch of the century that I can tolerate them. Emily, Shakeeb and Laila are irritating -- especially Shakeeb, but there is some comic gold there. We need more passive-aggressive and crazy ass moms, not nasty Nancy.
  8. I've seen 6 episodes. It is interesting and annoying all at once. Wish we had some context regarding how long they are out there. I'm hoping we see if anyone has really learned or grown from this and if any real-world changes were made. I hope they did blow up all their things.
  9. Yeah Liya! I really liked her. I thought Grayson would win, and I'd be good with that because he is very talented, but I thought Liya had such a sweet personality along with her outstanding cooking skills. From what little I saw, Grayson's dad seemed a bit much.
  10. I despise Emily and her whining. It is all so over the top and seems fake. How can Shakeeb be anyone's soulmate? He's such a dweeb. Not liking MMA fighter's mom. She's just mean. I prefer the moms who are over the top but not so nasty. I was ridiculously excited for this new season, but found myself very disappointed in the first episode. I'm sure I'll keep hate watching though!
  11. Tommy's anxiety reached through the screen. I felt flustered just watching him. Hope he can either settle down or be put out of his misery soon. Question... what's the big deal with making three servings of the same dish? They are acting like they have to make three different dishes in the time limit. Aren't you supposed to have dishes be consistent and taste the same? Doesn't seem so hard to me, especially if you are a masterchef. Am I missing something?
  12. Jason's interpretation of "closing statement" was wanting the last word, because he always has to have the last word. When given the chance to talk, he had no clue what to say, because he wasn't arguing with anyone right at that moment. Then, he had his last word when he told the crew he was pissed because he supposedly didn't have the opportunity to have the last word. He's a piece of work. His dad appears to be the same, and now he doesn't know how to handle his own kid because the kid turned out just like him.
  13. My favorite part was when Jason had nothing to say (for the first time in his life, I'm sure) when given a forum to speak. He then proceeds to get up and leave, again, and complains that all he wanted to do is give his statement -- implying that he wasn't given that opportunity. It was very strange. I think he loves drama and upsetting the apple cart. He like to take control but isn't happy when it's just given to him. He had an opportunity with no drama to speak and he was speechless because he wasn't arguing with someone.
  14. My Fox station had the hearing on it. I was shocked they were airing it.
  15. My jaw dropped when I heard Jason's dad saying how popular they made the show. Bam -- right there I saw where Jason gets it from. I would be mortified if Jason were my son. He's proud of it. Mom doesn't seem beaten down like Kylen, but I wonder what her relationship with her husband is like. My heart breaks for Kylen's parents. Their daughter was taken by that despicable jerk. You can tell how they walk on eggshells around him. Some day, she will regret the choices she's made about her family. So sad. I really can't believe what I watched -- she defends him, he still berates her. His parents sit there and say nothing. His dad actually said it's maturity? No, he's a narcissistic entitled ass boy (TM Lily) and he's been one for a very long time and will continue to be one because it's worked with him so far. I loved the posse of teen moms reaming Jason. I wish Kylen understood it's not that they don't like her -- Jason won't let her out of his sight. They are looking out for her. I hope that maybe they get through to her a little bit next week. On a lighter note -- Jenna looked great -- so happy. She should leave her boobs alone. She's too young to get them done.
  16. Jacques stayed long enough to figure out that he really didn't need to be alone. It was a pretty cool arc for him. Hope he and his mini family are happy at home.
  17. The whole disease thing. I know it's not like they went out and shot it in the woods, but it still gives me the willies.
  18. I know someone who always has their sunglasses on top of their head. Always. It annoys me to no end.
  19. Some formulas mess with a baby's tummy and make them vomit a lot. Might need a soy-based formula.
  20. I want either Liya or Grayson to win. Ivy is adorable and is a really good cook, but I don't think she has quite the sophistication with her meals that Grayson has or can quite match Liya's skills. I don't know how Molly hung on so long. Also -- they kept saying that Molly and A'dan were such grill whizzes. Was those self-proclaimed or did we ever really see them kick butt grilling things?
  21. Agree with the self-aware assessment of Sarah. What also grinds is the fact that she won't shut up. I did appreciate her food when she was brought back from LCK. She definitely made some things I wanted to try. But in the finale she lost me with venison tartare. Ugh. All the finale desserts looked wonderful! Yum. Buddha's tuiles were amazing. His entire meal was gorgeous and looked delicious.
  22. I was a little surprised that Kylen didn't try breastfeeding... then it occurred to me Jason probably put the kibosh on that because then he wouldn't get to dominate the baby's time. It's HIS baby. When talking about the freaking epidural for the 100th time it was all about him. It's always all about him. On the one hand, I'm excited for the apparent beat down he gets from everyone at the tell-all... but I fear for Kylen afterwards. He doesn't need or want her. All he wants is HIS baby.
  23. The whole boho-rainbow thing is very popular right now. It is really a stupid argument, but my sense is that this was the last straw for them. It sounds like Tiarra has been pulling this kind of stuff for years and they'd had it. It was more the accumulation of petty grievances over time than the one thing. I think there are some long simmering rivalries between the sisters that have played out through their daughters. They all seem dumber than a box of rocks so they can get off my TV any time now. They'll keep getting pregnant as long as TLC keeps giving them $.
